My husband knows I’m crazy for crepes. Since today he brought me here for lunch. I’ve shopped at sprouts for several years. In fact, I’ve shopped there since they first opened. Never noticed this restaurant across the street before. It was a little hard to spot at first, because my husband found it on Unilocal.Took us a few turns back-and-forth, but we eventually found it. For less than $ 20, we enjoyed a nice lunch in a contemporary environment. The service was lovely and the café is very nice. I ordered a nutella strawberry crêpe and a tall glass of ice water. My husband ordered a mango banana smoothie and a hot tuna cheese sandwich, which comes with a side salad and some french fries. The crêpe was filled with family sliced strawberries and smeared with nutella. On a corner of the plate is a dollop of whipped cream, topped with what looked of corn flakes. He crêpe seemed a little tough. Not hard or anything, just not as fluffy as other crêpes that I’ve had at other establishments. The thin layer of strawberries were fresh, but I think could have been a little more. The dollop of whipped cream with cornflakes were a beautiful touch. Still, for the price it wasn’t bad at all! The sandwich my husband ordered was very crispy. Probably like the best grilled cheese sandwich you’d ever tasted. This was like a fancy tuna melt. The salad was lightly mixed with its own salad dressing. The french fries were not greasy and came with a small portion, but still just right. The mango banana smoothie was thick and made with fresh fruit. Very delicious. The price wasn’t bad at all, to Feed two people for less than $ 20. Customer service was excellent. As soon as we were seated, the hostess gave me a basket on the floor where I could put my belongings. It wasn’t too busy for a Saturday afternoon. I liked that it was very quaint but still modern. The food tasted pretty good. I think my husband stash may have been more favored than mine. That’s only because I’m a little picky when it comes to crêpes. The restaurant is very clean. They also have a back seating for groups. There is seating indoors and outdoors. Credit cards excepted

More of a lunch vibe than evening. Had the Ricewhich with nori(Onigiri basically) and French fries. Nice to put salad in a ramekin so dressing stays put. Good looking greens. Also had Takama rice(Ojiya much better) ok but egg was a little runny. Nice big mug for hot tea. Coffee ok. Really nice eclectic menu. Details for folks who like a clean place: soot on outdoor table from busy Vista Montana, we were given lap blankets from previous tables occupants(uh does your food ever fall on your lap?). Heaters were it of gas on a 62 degree evening therefore the lap blankets. Dessert crêpe was Apple w earl grey custard. Very good but would’ve loved it to be hot.

The parking might be confusing at first, but you can park in the lot in front of Walgreens(or the upper lot as well). There is both indoor(small) and outdoor patio seating. They have some great selection of drinks(coffee, tea, soft drinks, smoothies) as well as some filling Japanese meals. They are currently doing a Winter Special of the Gratin Combo, T.B.C. Galette, and Soup Curry. I decided to go for the gratin and it tasted great! My friend ordered the Hamburg steak and that was great too! Will have to come back to try more of their menu items and crepes! Just a note that there’s a $ 10 minimum to use credit card!

First time coming to this place which opened for about 1.5 years now. I have passed by a few times but never had a chance to go. It is a small place very comfy and cozy. There are both outdoor seating and also indoor however the inside seating are smaller tables. The staff was very friendly. I really like the food. I have always been a big fan of crêpe. The omu rice was very good.

This is the second time my wife and I come here to grab a bite to eat. We have our dog with us since we’re going hiking. The owner says it’s fine to have dogs outside which is fine. Today is a rainy day and it’s cold out. Since she had no heaters out here she offered us blankets to use. I thought this was pretty awesome as it shows this café cares about the people that eat here. Not only is the food really good here but they also have awesome service. I recommend this place to everyone.

This crêpe joint was just fine. The place was smaller than I had anticipated. I heard the meals served here were pretty good so I would give it another try. But for my first visit we ordered two different types of dessert crepes. They both tasted okay. Not as good as the ones you get in Japan of course. I think if there were one or two more toppings added it would’ve been more fulfilling to me. I’d try the hand roll next time since I think it’d taste better with a Japanese style crêpe. French style crêpe is more suitable for serving on the plate. I also wish they had savory versions on the menu.

I’ve gone here quite a few times now because the food is good and I enjoy the ambiance of the café. I LOVE their green tea azuki crêpe. Now, I’m not sure if they’re trying to do some kind of non-invasive European style café service or something, but each and every time their service is slow AF. Yes, it takes a while to prepare the food, I don’t even mind that. Each time I sit there hungry with my husband or friend and we kind of pray/try to catch someone’s attention. We’ve never been there when it’s packed. THERE’S BEENTIMESWHENWEWERETHEONLYONESTHERE. I don’t know, am I supposed to… snap my fingers like some kind of asshole? I don’t want to… Last time the waitress warned us that the food will take a while and I replied that I understand so let me order the dessert now so you guys know ahead of time. She brought out the dessert with our main meal T_T Everything else is quite nice, I just just want a little more mindfulness please.

Nice little café. with four 2-person tables inside and a few more for patio seating. Small, but very cozy feeling. The meals came with a very small(in 3″ dia. cup) but fresh salad with mostly spinach, two small tomatoes and baby kale(I think). The dressing was miso based, thick and very nice. Omurice with tonkatsu(pork cutlets): the omurice was soft and moist, full of tomato/ketchup flavor. The Tonkatsu is nothing special. The portion is fair. T.B.C galette: I have never had galette before, so did not know what to expect. There were small pieces of chicken inside with tomato sauce, an barely cooked egg on top and folded with crêpe type skin with small green salad on the side dressed with basil oil/sauce. The presentation is very nice and the whole think tasted great. The only downside is that the portion is a bit small. Coffee with cookie: The coffee was just ok and the home made small cookies are two small ball shape cookies. One was cocoa and the other was green tea flavor, both tasted great and free refill for the coffee. I was hoping that they open early for breakfast, but 11 am is the time. I think this is a nice little place for light lunch and possibly afternoon tea/coffee.

This was an awesome discovery. I got off a temp job not too far and decided to give this place a try. I ordered the omurice and the strawberry/chocolate crêpe. I had the omurice and it transported me back to my time in Japan. It was delicious! It had the rice amount of seasoning that it wasn’t salty. However, I was a little disappointed with the crêpe. I ordered a hand(Japanese style) crêpe and I expected some crunch from the crêpe, but it was more like a French crêpe, which is disappointing when I expected a Japanese crêpe. I wondered if they made it the same time as my omurice, even though I told the waitress after dinner. But I would give this place another chance.

Newly opened restaurant. Food is good and price is reasonable. The restaurant itself is small, but they do have outdoor seating. Came here during weekday afternoon. A very nice place to chat with friends.

Yummaaaaaaaaaay! Came for the food, left with a happy crêpe! Or was it a happy me? XD [-1] Their food selection is not very huge because they specialize in crepes. I would love to see a bigger variety in their kitchen! They only had like 2 – 3 pasta dishes! [+1] Crêpe was soft on the outside, sweet and crispy(!!) on the inside. Good combination of flavors and textures. No texture issues here! It also came in a cuuuuuuuuute little stand that was absolutely adorable! [+1] Really cute seating for some reason, and the outside is lovely! The décor and the baskets are really cute and considerate! Pretty much nothing touches the table or the floor, including your purse! Parking is easy in this plaza~!

This is a fun little place. Their focus is on crepes but they do have other Japanese dishes as well. As their primary focus is crepes that is what I recommend trying at this restaurant. They have some traditional flavors plus a number of unique crêpe combinations, so you won’t be disappointed. This restaurant has a covered outdoor patio, where most of their seating is placed, plus a few seats inside and a couple on their front patio where I prefer to sit. The seats are all well spaced, giving you plenty of room to enjoy your meal. The food is good and,(just for the record), they have very good coffee.

This ambiance of this place is very relaxing, as there’s calming music playing in the background, and the whole restaurant was really clean. My boyfriend and I ordered the omurice with hamburg steak, udon carbonara, and the strawberry chocolate crêpe. I liked the omurice in that the egg on top wasn’t over done, and the fried rice under it was nicely seasoned. The sauce on the side with the hamburg steak was a variation of Worcestershire sauce, and it went very well with the omurice because the omurice wasn’t as heavy on flavors. The hamburg steak tasted a little bit weird; the texture was a little off. I think it may have been overcooked; my boyfriend said it tasted like a frozen hamburger patty. The udon carbonara was common in the reviews I read, so we got that to try it. I wasn’t a fan of it though because the texture of the udon just didn’t match the sauce. Udon is often used with a sauce or soup that is pretty light, so it’s refreshing whether it’s eaten hot or cold. However, carbonara sauce is pretty heavy and creamy, so it was a really weird tasting combination. Also, the bacon they used in the udon carbonara was a very thick cut so it was hard to chew. I would recommend them to use a thinner cut. We finished our meal with a strawberry chocolate crêpe, and it was just okay. The strawberries were really mushy and sweet; I wish they used fresh strawberries instead. However, I did really like the whipped cream on the side. It was homemade, fresh, and not too sweet. It was topped with cereal which gave a good contrast in texture. Our waitress was really nice, and I understand that it’s hard to attend to 3 tables at once when you’re the only waitress is working. However, she didn’t bring us napkins until we were almost done with our dishes, and we had to wait awhile when we requested something like a to go box. She sincerely apologized upon bringing out items, which I really appreciated; I feel as though they should hire another person to help her. I really wanted to like this place, but I probably won’t come back due to the mediocre food.

The cutest place ever! The waitress was so adorable and the place has really cute succulents everywhere. Plus when other people didnt finish their water, they used it to water the plants. I had the carbonara udon and it was delicious. The portion was very filling as well, I definitely recommend it. Probably am going to come back and have a crêpe sometime.

Yummyyyyy!!! So, I’ve had crepes from the most generic crêpe restaurants as well as from Paris, With that said, I can vouch that these crepes were deliciously delicious! Haha. Seriously! Stopped by this place this weekend after always driving by it. I wanted to see what the Unilocalers were talking about and put that to the test. It was lunch time, and we ordered the Carbonara Udon Noodles* as everyone recommended and they were perfectly cooked! You can truly taste the homemade noodles compared to other place that offer a boot-legged thin type of noodle. These were thick and the bacon sealed the deal! And the sauce, creamy of course! Also had the Banana & Chocolate Crêpe* with whip cream. What is not to love from the name itself? Crêpe included a large scoop of Vanilla ice cream and was devoured within minutes. Such a cute location with a patio outside as well as very sweet employees. Had a relaxing time, and was one of those meals that make you have an even better weekend!

This is a very cute Japanese café located near PCH& Vista Montana. It might be a bit difficult to find as parking is located on the side and rear of the entrance, but there are plenty of parking spaces. There are not many seating inside, but plenty of seating in the patio area. I do not recommend for large parties, but place definitely has a very good ambiance with an excellent service. This place would be a very good place to take your spouse/girlfriend on a date for some coffee and crepes. But they also offer sandwiches, curries, udon, pasta, and etc. if you prefer to have a light meal. Overall, if you are a fan of Japanese style crepes, this place is a must! I really like the ambiance inside the café as it reminds me of café in Japan. I am so glad that it opened in Southbay area. Now the food: Very Berry Crêpe — Tasted very delicious with a home-made whipped cream is a plus! Hire Katsu & Omu Rice — It’s been while eating Japanese Style Omelets and it certainly did not disappoint me. The rice is flavored in a Japanese ketchup for those of you who are new to this dish.

Cute and quiet café specializing in Japanese fare and crepes. We tried the katsu with omu rice(my husband was super excited about the strangely delicious ketchup rice since he grew up with the dish made by his grandmother). The katsu was great, perfectly crispy. We also ordered the shrimp and masago cream udon, probably more like 4 stars in my opinion. The highlight was dessert – green tea & azuki(red bean) crêpe! They sprinkle with green tea powder and green tea drizzle. Service was great, very attentive. They have a cute little patio in the back/side that would be great to hang out and relax during the summer. I will definitely return for crêpe dates! and katsu/omu rice takeout when we don’t have time for cooking dinner!

Japanese Crepes O MY! I was definitely looking for a Japanese style crepes place in the South Bay and if you never tired one… you should totally look into that… like right now… just do it… you will thank me later =) Crêpe & Café Fujiyama is located between PCH& Vista Montana. The place is slightly on a slant but, it is closer to Vista Montana right next to the Mongolian BBQ place. This place is also relevantly new and offers quite a cute café like setting and menu. The menu focuses on the Japanese-style crepes, hot sandwiches, smoothies, and also variety of Japanese food such as udon noodles, curry, katsu cutlet bowl and chicken teriyaki. For the crepes menu they have two options to choose from either the hand size or plate side option. –Hand size is the wrapped in a fan shaped hand held crêpe –Plate size is somewhat larger and given in a plate with a bit more sauce and whipped cream. My favorites: The Sweet Crepes with Homemade Whipped Cream -$ 5.50(hand) $ 7.00(plate) 7. Strawberry Chocolate –Fresh Strawberries with Whipped Cream and Chocolate Sauce –Can’t go wrong with this combination and what brings it all together is the homemade whipped cream =0 The Sweet Crepes with Homemade Whipped Cream & Ice Cream -$ 7.30(hand) $ 8.80(plate) 13. Very Berry Crepes with Strawberry Ice Cream –Fresh Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Strawberry Sauce with Whipped Cream and Strawberry Ice Cream –To me this is the sweet, tasty and healthy choice of the bunch since it has different types of fresh mixed berries. –Very light and a great addition to the menu 14. Green Tea Azuki with Green Tea Ice Cream –Sweet Japanese Red Beans, Green Tea Sauce with Whipped Cream and Green Tea Ice Cream –For all you green tea lovers out there this is the one for you. –This crepes has both green tea ice cream and green tea sauce. so enjoy Pros: –Clean and has patio seating –Has a nice ambiance –Friendly service Cons: –Not recommended for large parties larger than 5(this place is quite small and would be great for 2 – 4 parties) –The location is a bit hidden and might pass it the first time around trying to find it –Closes on Mondays Overall, this place is amazing for Japanese style crepes and I would definitely recommend coming here with friends or on a date the ambiance can be quite nice and relaxed.
