This live scan place is awesome.
I tried to get a live scan done in Long Beach but the employee working with me gave me a lot of attitude about my writing style. Basically, the guy wanted me to print my writing and made it sound like I needed to print on the form, but no where on the form did it tell me to print. My handwriting really is not that messy (I just connect my letters).
When I came to this place the lady at the front was super kind. She greeted me and said she would be right with me. When she helped me, there was one number I wrote on the form that she couldn’t read and instead of criticizing me for it she just asked what the number was.
Despite three people being ahead of me, the live scan process only took 15 to 20 minutes. It cost $ 20 since I didn’t have cash (it’s only $ 19 otherwise). The transaction went smoothly.
I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I went here today to get passport photos, and was impressed by how quickly they were done, how reasonable the price was ($ 12 for 2) and how friendly the woman who took the pictures was. I appreciated that she took several pictures and let me choose which I liked. They were all fine, probably because I’d just had my hair cut. I’ll definitely recommend this to anyone needing passport photos!

This experience as very pleasant. Quick and easy– less than 5 minutes total. I had gone to the post office first because I did not know if this office. Don’t do it! It’s long, tedious, and the employees are rude. I highly recommend coming to Safe & Secure for a five-​star experience!

First of all your phone call about the fees were misleading, 2^nd we only STILL used your company because we didn’t have time to go elsewhere and lastly you should never put your customers name and why they were in your place of business to try and oust them on Unilocal,just because your upset that your customer service was not up to par. Thank you for proving my point. We will DEFINITELY not be using your place of business again…

Great customer service. I procrastinated on going here to get paperwork for coaching. Service was quick and she was very friendly! I made a mistake and called her back. She fixed it right away. I now know where I’ll go when I need passport work done.

This was super fast and easy. I went here to get a Live Scan and a passport photo and was there for maybe 10 minutes. The live scan was $ 69 and the passport plot was $ 10. They do take credit card for $ 1 charge. No appointment necessary. Highly recommend!

Got live scan for a job a few weeks ago and came back for passport pictures today because it’s quick and painless!

Needed to get LiveScan, passport photos, and a notarized copy for my Pharmacy Tech License. There were LiveScan locations closer to my house but I wasn’t sure if they provided all services, and this place had so many great reviews so I decided the trek across town would be worth it and it was.
The lady (Elsie?) was super sweet just like everyone said and we got the process done in probably about 15 minutes. We went through step by step and I asked questions just to make sure I was sending /​keeping the right papers.
Total was $ 94 for two photos, notarized copy of my Certification, and the LiveScan (which was $ 20 but plus the government fees).
Quick, friendly service. Lots of parking. Definitely recommend and would come back if I needed anything else done :)

We came here for notary service. And ended up printing the wrong form. D’oh! The nice lady who helped us (I believe the owner) had no problem printing out another form (for free!) an had it notarized quickly and inexpensively. A great community gem! Will definitely be back for this and her other services as well. Thank you!

I needed fingerprinting done for both work clearance and state certification. I’ve never had to get this done on my own before so I really had no idea where to go — so naturally, I consulted Unilocal.Safe and Secure had a 5 star rating and great reviews, so I knew I couldn’t go wrong.
I walked in with no appointment. The office is small and there were two people waiting in front of me and one that came in after me — that being said, the line went quickly and I waited no longer than 10 minutes. Elsie was the fingerprint expert — she was professional and polite and I could tell she was very experienced. I had to get my fingerprints done twice and paid $ 67 for each set.
Be sure to bring cash or a Visa/​Mastercard … unfortunately they don’t take AMEX.
Overall, I was really pleased with the quick and professional service.

My fiancé needed a live scan for our PUC application. The whole process only took about five minutes. The woman who took care of us was very nice. There is also I discount on Live Scan fingerprinting if your paying with cash. I totally recommend this place for your fingerprinting needs. They also have lawyer services for will and divorce and so on, as well as notary services.

I drove across town in the pouring rain to get an item notarized by Safe & Secure Fingerprints. I passed many Notaries along the way. When something is important enough to get notarized, it’s worth the extra travel. This business is professional, fast, reliable and good priced. I also gave them a straight «A» review on Angie’s List. It’s always a pleasure to do business with Safe & Secure. Elsie is very good and knows her business.

Came in, took prints, paid, explained what i needed to do, and left. Took less than 5 min.

I came here for a livescan and for passport photos. I’ve had trouble with livescans in the past at other places because they didn’t do a good job of obtaining good prints (plus, my prints are very faint) and I’ve had to come back to redo them, etc. After I told the lady here my concerns, she assured me that she is the BEST at taking prints. And honestly, she really did do an amazing job! She did each of my prints very carefully, making sure they were clear. She was also very friendly! Excellent customer service!
For the passport photos, she took several photos and let me pick which one I liked best! $ 10 for 2 photos. And it came out super fast! She seriously is the best!

I needed fingerprints for a contractor license, and this place, Safe & Secure, was open late enough for me to make it all the way to Torrance from Santa Ana through 5 PM traffic. What a nice way to show customer service to stay open a little later for folks like me!
Once I got in, the fingerprinting was fast and easy, and the lovely proprietor lady was there, just like in the picture! Very polite, professional, and explained everything.
I recommend Safe & Secure for anyone in the South Bay needing fingerprints.
