Her goal is to create a place where the clients feel comfortable and staff members learn to grow and work as a team. Having studied under Framesi Italian Style Color and educating stylists at Framesi for fifteen years, Joanne’s creativity, professionalism, and strong commitment to continuing education make her one of the area’s top stylists.

The first salon I can trust to not mutilate my extremely difficult coarse thick curly hair. The girls are super talented and passionate about doing great hair. Fun, friendly atmosphere without the snooty attitude of high end wanna-be’s. The quality of work is far above their rates.

When I first went to Janet I was really nervous. I recently had my second child and really let my hair go. I had highlights that were almost completely grown out and horrible (really horrible) split ends. I have been to other stylists before who can «shame» you when you walk in with the mess that I had. Janet was the complete opposite! She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. Not only did she make me feel good, she made me look amazing. I was so impressed with Janet and Salon Method in general, that I recommended her to two of my coworkers-​who also love her now. I just got my haircut by her last week and have had so many compliments on it. I also feel that they are very reasonable for the Baltimore metro area. The location is very easy to get to for anyone living near the Towson area. Highly recommend!

Receptionist was not friendly or helpful. My daughter came in for a color treatment and I entered and left the salon several times and at no point in the entire process was I told they didn’t take credit cards.
Re the color job, they added another $ 35 to treatment saying it would last longer and it barely lasted a month. Too expensive for what you get.

Hey Blondes I am writing this review for you! If you are like me and in the salon every 5 – 7 weeks to get your highlights freshened up — you need a stylist who gets it right EVERYTIME! There are only 3 services that I get absolutely get monthly: My highlights, my massage and my mani/​pedi! Joanne Mondato (1 of the owners) does it all, but for m, e she is my specialist in highlights & lowlights. Consistently i leave her salon so happy and feeling like «Gorgeous». I have been going to Joanne now for over 10 yrs and followed her from salon –salon — so I was so excited for her and Dori to open up their own salon. Everyone is super nice (Julie and Isabelle love you guys too) and the salon is soooo clean ALL-​THE-​TIME. They are all really friendly, Joanne is always there to make sure her salon runs smoothly and the clients are taken care of. But lets face it – the most important thing for me is the service: Joanne is ALWAYS on time, she is fast yet precise and listens to what i want and delivers. She knows when i just need a pick me up in my highlights (darn well water!!) or I need a change. So the on;y 1 challenge i have is… I know when i walk in Salon Method i am going to have to splurge on a delicious yummy homemade treat (usually homemade cookies) waiting for me to sink my teeth into and enjoy with my coffee, oh well you can’t have everything :).

WOW! New space is GROOVY! If you live in Baltimore County, this should definitely be your spot… and you city folk should take the quick drive up 83 — IT’S THAT GOOD! Joanne has been cutting my hair for years now, the gal is a PRO! Everyone at the salon is great and they make you feel like family as soon as you walk in the door.

Originally from Baltimore, I have spent the last 7 years living in Austin, Texas. Although I have searched for comparable salons in Austin, they don’t exist! Salon Method has the vibe, the skill, the location, the people, and the products that combine to create a great experience. Joanne is worth the flight from Austin to Baltimore! I often joke that I’m going to start working remotely from the salon because I so enjoy the bustle and chatter of stylists and patrons. A day at the «beauty parlor» is Americana at its finest and Salon Method is a modern take on spending quality time just getting your hair done.

I had a great experience at Salon Method! I’ve been living in the Baltimore area for about 3 years now and could never find a salon I was comfortable enough to go back to regularly– this is it! Janet cut and colored my hair and did a great job. She knew exactly what she was talking about and listened to what I wanted as well. She gave great tips for styling my hair, and was overall an excellent stylist! Friendly service from start to finish, from Megan at the front desk, to everyone working in the salon. I will definitely go back to Salon Method!
