Every time I come in here I’m helped right away and I’m always super pleased with results, very relaxing atmosphere, professional technicians, super clean, unreal polish selection, and great price. Bring cash tips and you’re all set!

I have gone twice and both times my shellac polish stayed on for over two weeks with no chips, which is great. The second time I was the only person in the salon with three staff and they were all laughing and talking in another language. It was very uncomfortable and at one point the girl doing my nails nodded her head towards me then they all laughed. Not cool. Additionally I asked for a design and I honestly could have done a better design at home. Cash Tips Only. Good manicure, bad customer service.

Found this place on Unilocal and went there based on the great reviews. My first couple of times going for acrylics was great, I had a fresh set put on. Great because the husband/​owner did them. A few weeks back I had the wife/​owner do them. They were uneven– in both length and thickness, they were thick and bumpy and he repair she did broke off after two days. They had rough patches all over which is glaring under polish.
I decided to go back and see the husband and get a new set from him. When I arrived I told him I wanted to see him and he said sit down over there — she’ ll start you. The wife proceeds to take off the old set and along with them tore off the length of my nails. Not wanting to wear tips I told her the damage was done and to just trim them evenly and I’d go with a paler color. No holiday red. Well she decided to start the fill and the husband was off working on something else — so I decided to give her another try. She shaped the first nail, asked for my approval which I gave and she started on the rest of them. I didn’t wait to complain until the end but told her when she did the first hand that I was unhappy and they weren’t like I wanted and she said but you approved it. When I pointed out the NOT A SINGLE NAIL ON THE OTHER FOUR FINGERS LOOKED THE SAME OR MATCHED THE ONE I APPROVED! I had 5 mismatched nails on one hand. The sides were filed off, they were even shorter than when she took the old stuff off, they were different lengths. She did my left hand second hand which was only slightly better but after pointing out and telling her I was unhappy I had hoped she would repair the first. But no, she continued to tell me I had approved. I washed my hands, paid them — I don’t know why and left. I flat out told her I was leaving to have them fixed and she said good-​bye! The worst, it’s gone downhill quickly. Found anew place already. Even they couldn’t believe how bad.

UNREAL — I literally do not think I will ever be able to go to ANY other nail salon again after visiting My Day Nails & Spa.
Made My Nails & Spa is really what it should be called, because it got my day turnt up!
The salon is GORGEOUS — I mean top of the line décor. There are a number of nail tables as well as pedi chairs — you could totally go with a big group or book a private party.
The pedicure chair is one of the most all inclusive massage chair I’ve ever sat in! Heat, pressure, air, «relax settings», the works !
All of the equipment was fresh and sterilized — no worries for fungus here.
A plethora of color options! This place does not mess around.
ALSO ! they opened at 11 on a Sunday — getting that extra hour really helps!

I absolutely love it here. Best nail salon I’ve ever been to. Definitely my go to place. The massage chairs were amazing. I got a pedicure and acrylic set all for $ 50 and I was there for 2 hours getting pampered. I actually ruined my polish going out to my car and they redid it! I felt really bad though. I was just so happy with the service! The pedicure is amazing with all the scrubs and lotions and massages… my feet/​legs feel wonderful.
The salon smells so good and it is so pretty inside. And the polish selection is massive. They have every essie and opi polish color as well as other brands. They also have gel and shellex there and more more. Just callup for info!!!

Came here for the first time last week based on Unilocal reviews. I had Amy do my shellac manicure and pedicure, and this place for sure lived up to the reviews. Amy was fabulous; she took her time on my shellac and did a great job on the pedicure. $ 40 dollars for a deluxe pedicure that includes a 30 minute foot/​leg massage, I think I got my feet massaged 4 or 5 separate times. The massage chair is also one of the best I’ve ever sat in. My nails and toes look fantastic almost a week later. I will not be going to ANY other salons. Even though I live in Auburn Hills, I will gladly drive to My Day in Troy to get my mani/​pedis every single time. They have earned my loyalty for sure!

This is my all around favorite nail salon. I don’t get my nails done anywhere else.
I never book an appointment (think I just make good timing). I’m always greeted very nicely by someone. The actual salon always looks so clean every time I go in. There’s never a hair out of place.
Their prices are very reasonable and they do a really great job every time. I never walk out disappointed here. I do always end up getting my actual nails done by the same girl (somehow, luckily). I believe she might be the owner? Anyways, she’s amazing. I always get stiletto nails done and it takes forever for these to be filed down the right way, but she ALWAYS does a great job. I have gone a bunch of times right before closing and she never cared. She’s a really sweet lady.
All around, it’s my #1 favorite nail salon. As for negative reviews I’ve seen on here, they’re just overdramatized by customers looking for freebies.

Treat my sister a mani and pedi for her birthday and found this place on Google, the ratings is really good so I decided to try. The salon is very clean with nice view and good soft spa music. The staffs are friendly, professtional and speaking English fluently. They really took time to massage my sister’s feet and kept up a good conversation. The price is moderate and they prefer cash for tips. I will recommend you this spa if next time, you want a nice relaxing spa day.

I loved this place so much that I recommended it to my sister who lives nearly 35 minutes from the salon. We had an appointment for 2:30 and we were both left soaking in water until 3:10 with red, pruny feet and no assistance. My sister then got fed up after waiting nearly 50 minutes and left the salon and no one tried to even accommodate her or I for waiting or stop her from leaving… And FYI to management, you cannot LIE when you reply to a review to make yourselves look better. Upsetting but at least now I know that I won’t be coming back here again.

Drove 35 minutes to come here because I had heard good things. What a let down. I had an appointment for 230 got there at 220 at 245 they took me back for my pedicure and let me soak until 310 no body had even looked my way to help me. I got up to leave and the lady sitting in the front asked me what’s wrong I told her I had an appointment and waited 50 minutes. During my wait no one bothered to let me know they were running late or asked if I wanted or need anything to keep my comfortable while waiting. I even called back when I left and ask if I could be accommodated if I came back and she said «it doesn’t work that way» really? That’s HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I do not recommend this place at all. So so so upset

Wonderful experience! Served quickly by very friendly staff. Kim was my tech. She was gentle and did a great job on my nails. (I opted for pink/​white gels). The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming unlike most salons where they make you feel like you are a burden on their time or you feel like you are on a production line. Prices are very reasonable and in line with others (if not a little better). This was my first visit to My Day and I am looking forward to my next visit.

The deluxe pedicure is amazing. Definitely worth upgrading to. Would highly recommend this place.

Bit closer to home and couldn’t fit us in we came here because of all the great reviews. Should have checked Unilocal before we even left the house… the «other «salon gets only 2 stars and I can see why.
3 mani pedis right away and we loved every minute! Deluxe pedicure was amazing! And they did a great job giving a manicure to my 8 year old with a broken arm. Highly recommend!!!

This place was great! I ran in on my lunch hour to get a pedicure, no appointment. I had to wait a few minutes but not too long. The place was very clean. The girls were super nice and did an excellent job. The prices are very reasonable as well. I will definitely be returning on lunch hours in the future!!!

Love this place! Went there for the first time on a whim and had a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Offering me water and seat immediately. Colors are a never ending supply, it was nearly impossible to choose.
This place is gonna get busy fast!

I had a great first experience here today. I had the day off on a Tuesday so it was empty. The staff treated me so well and spent extra time on the massage. I will most certainly come back.

I was looking for a nail salon that was near Somerset and stumbled upon My Day.
I stopped in on a whim without an appointment and was helped right away on a Thursday at 5 PM.
I met Kim and Randy and both were very kind and friendly!
Kim did my acrylics and I am very satisfied with them! She took her time and did a better job shaping and cutting them to my desired length than every other place I’ve been to in the Troy-​Warren area.
I am very pleased and an added bonus is they have prices on the cheaper side especially compared to other salons in the Troy area!
I will definitely be back for the quality services and beautiful, peaceful atmosphere.

Clean and friendly. Nail tech are all nice and want to talk. Great job on my nails. Decent price. Will come back again. Hopefully business will get better.
