Ace Hardware Stores, Inc. on North Bear Canyon Road and East Tanque Verde Road in Tucson, AZ 85 749 is your foothills store near Mt. Lemmon Highway, Catalina Foothills, Catalina Mountains, Summerhaven, Sabino High School, Snyder Road and Reddington Road.

The store carries everything from plumbing supplies to Benjamin Moore paint. At this location, we specialize in irrigation projects, refill propane tanks, sell hunting and fishing licenses and have recently added ammunition to our inventory.

History

Established in 1962.

Ace Hardware Stores, Inc. was incorporated in Tucson in 1962, and was the FIRST Ace Hardware Store in Arizona. We are locally owned and managed, and an affiliate of the Ace Hardware co-​operative; comprised of over 6,000 stores in the U.S. and over 500 stores in 70 countries worldwide.

Serving the Northeast side of Tucson since 1988, the Bear Canyon Store has quickly expanded to its own free standing building. The store moved down the street in 2008 to its current location to fill the expanding neighborhood’s needs.
