Awful service the wine wasn’t good as expected and food is flavorless. arrived at 7:30 food served at 10 and I’m not exaggerating.
Not coming back for sure.

Disappointing experience. Big crowd due to Gem Show, I assume. Service was dreadful with constant apologies and attempts at making things right. Fried calamari was soggy, potato soup tasteless. Drink forgotten. Spicy jalapeño burger and fries were quite good-​the highlight. Something’s not right here.

The food items are a little «hoity toity» for me, and the menu is small. Had a bloody mary in this from scratch bar. It was decent. The cocktails on their menu are so obscure I was scared to try them. Seems odd for tucson!

I wish I had a better experience here. Came here today for brunch for the first time and had some of the worst service I have ever had in Tucson. It took 45 mins for us to get our food after we ordered and our server never came to ask if we wanted drink refills. We ended up getting water for ourselves twice which defeats the purpose of having a server. Once we finally got our food, our server never asked us if we needed anything else. In fact, we didn’t see him again until our meal was over. The food was just ok. Our meals were little bland so we had to put a lot of hot sauce on it.
Note: The bartender Jamie was great however. She made our mimosas and they were amazing

Let me begin by stating I would rate this place 4.5 stars.
Make a reservation as this place fills up faster than your head can spin.
We live in CA and came here last night while visiting Tucson for the Gem & Mineral Show. My fiancé had found this restaurant on TripAdvisor before our visit.
Food, setting, and service are terrific. The venue courtyard is really pretty.
We started with the Calamari. Unlike most eateries that give you just Calamari, their’s was mixed with thin slices of green pepper & onions. We needed salt to enhance the flavor just a tad. It came with a delicious cocktail sauce.
Then we shared a house salad with champagne vinaigrette. Delightful!
Next up I had the Pork Loin, absolutely spectacular, super tasty. My man had the Seafood Cioppino, southwest broth, large pieces of scallops, big shrimp, fish, plus hush puppies brought it up a notch or more. He loved it!
Our waiter suggested the pastachio cheesecake for dessert. We took his wonderful suggestion and were ecstatic about the results. Fabulous subtle flavor. Huge hunk of cake, with whipped cream, a couple of blackberries, and a piece of peanut brittle to sweeten it a tad.
Perfect ending to a memorable meal!

Horrible service. We went for happy hour and ordered the brulleed goat cheese appetizer specifically asking for the toast without the garlic oil. When it arrived without the garlic oil– it turned out to have enormous pieces of garlic in the cheese (!) We couldnt even eat it because of garlic allergy, and when we told the waitress — she had an attitude.

Oh I’m so disappointed! We brought friends here tonight that just moved to town this week. Food was great but we waited over a half hour for dinner after our appetizers! Not only did they never serve my husband’s salad, they attempted to serve our friends their salads twice! Then the staff had made a mistake and brought us a second bill that was more than the first that we had already paid for! What kind of place does that?! Sorry Agustin Kitchen but you just fell off my top eats list in Tucson. What a terrible experience at what has the potential to be a really great place!

Came here with my boyfriend just as a casual Monday night dinner and it was busy even then! Make reservations on opentable beforehand but this place is amazing. Décor is sheek and the food changes seasonally. The drinks are well made and strong and the overall experience is great if you are looking to impress a group of friends who want something different. Definitely a repeat place for individuals looking to eat good food every visit!

Cocktails were delicious… pork, chicken and duck dishes all cooked really well. The appetizers were outstanding. The service was great. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

The marketplace itself is an hidden gem. I brought a friend from out of town to explore it, all the restaurants were unique. We enjoyed craft cocktails and appetizers during the happy hour and got the full welcome from out server Tyler. We loved the unique cocktails. Wished they would extend happy hour seating beyond the bar since it got packed pretty quickly. Overall, service, food and ambience was great.

Beautiful setting, unique and delicious food, huuuuumongous bloody maries, and the staff goes above and beyond. Here’s why:
Not only are they courteous, friendly, and attentive, but they wrangle wasps as well. On the morning we were there we sat outside enjoying the beautiful weather only to have our table perturbed by a wasp that was clearly after our apricot spread. Noticing some commotion, one of the waitresses came over and corralled the wasp with a glass and napkin. I must admit, I felt slightly emasculated, but that was made up for by how impressed I was with the service. The wasp, while obviously disappointed, was released unharmed and had to agree with me.

Awesome service and the food was delicious! If your meal happens to come with their shoestring French fries, be sure to get their homemade ranch and a ketchup that was to die for! A bit of spice on each of the two condiments that sent it out of this world! The Mussels in the chorizo spice was perfect!

New CHEF! NEW NEW NEW! We arrived for our 3^rd wedding anniversary and to our horror, Chef Ryan is gone?! To our absolute delight… Chef Erica is the new Queen of the kitchen! We had a delicious amazing, fresh, perfectly executed meal, with superior service. Hint.. Ask for Ryan when u go, excellent customer service with a side of humor! We ordered the Hog bbq oysters, crazy name, so fun. Decadent light Spicey bbq sauce over perfectly cleaned oysters. For dinner we ordered the Diver Scallops with celiaric (sp?) risotto, Charred Brussel sprouts nd crispy pork belly. Hands down the best prep and execution of any scallop that has ever graced my lips. The venison was spot on, seasoned perfectly with an outstanding pomegranate glaze over white beans with lemon, mint and sun dried tomatoes. I can only tell you my face is still smiling, our stomachs are happy and my taste buds delighted! Check out the NEW Agustin Kitchen. You will not be disappointed. Bravo Chef Erica, we will meet again soon!

What a great little restaurant. We have had some awesome meals here. The chef does a great job and service has always been spot on. I am not sure how it is going to be now that there is a new chef, but I will give it a shot to see. I hope the quality stays where it has been.

This place is usually one of our favorite places to dine … But I felt disappointed dining here with my family tonight .
Usually the cocktails on the menu seem diverse and usually I sit there contemplating which one I would choose but I felt that the menu had no cocktails that stood out. I ordered a stoli dirty martini which is my go to if I don’t find anything to drink. My husband found nothing as well and just ordered a mint julep cause he really didn’t know what to get either .
The food was average, nothing stood out. I ordered the cioppino stew which was okay. The broth was super rich and thick. The broth could of been a little bit more thinned out. My husband ordered the seared diver scallops … One noted. He stated that they needed some kind of sauce or texture to the dish. My daughter got a bland chicken breast with kale. The waitress should’ve let me know what the seasonal veggie was otherwise I wouldn’t have ordered it. My two year old couldn’t eat the vegetables. The crème brûlée was ok, but the waitress didn’t let us know it was a banana custard. My husband was unhappy about the waitress not letting him know it was a flavored Brûlée. My chocolate mousse was more of a fudge. It was tasty but the waitress seemed a little on edge asking the kitchen if I can have non alcoholic whipped cream (I was sharing my dessert with my daughter)
Overall 2 stars. Very disappointed cause i used to love the food here.

Our first time there tonight (Halloween Night) after watching Phantom Of The Opera. Tatiana our server was very nice and friendly as was the rest of staff. The fried calamari was very delicious (this coming from someone that doesn’t eat seafood). We both ordered the souz vide hanger steak /​medium rare (one with grilled shrimp). The mashed potatoes, greens and carrots were delicious however, our steaks were more rare than medium rare, blood from the steaks were all over the mashed potatoes. Over all we had a great experience and will definitely be back again.

Good food but a few dishes are pretty disgusting.

— Cesar salad, was pretty bland. Nice presentation but it has no kick. You need to use raw egg yolks and grind anchovies into the dressing so it has natural salt in it. I probably won’t order this again.
— 4 cups appetizer was good but the one cup of jelly was horrible. We think the chef did not blanch the fruit peel before making the jelly. It was extremely bitter. Please don’t serve this, it’s embarrassing that left the kitchen. You need to taste the food before it gets sent out.
It seems to me the chefs here are young and still learning as they go. That’s fine you’re getting most dishes right, just clean up the dishes I mentioned and you will have a strong menu.

Cioppinno is AMAZING! Scallops, prawns, mussels in a rich red broth. Plenty of choices on the menu that will make you feel satisfied.

I absolutely love this place and it is so hard to put into words why! :) Ive been coming here under old owners and new and continue to love the ever changing menu. Its refreshing to have a restaurant in Tucson that not only has an owner that cares about the local sustainability but that also likes to impress its clientele. Its a small place but full of simple décor that is cozy and inviting. The wait staff is always super knowledgable but sometimes the young host staff can be off putting but dont let that stop you. Once you sit down know that the menu offers something for everyone. I always, always get one of the appetizers. The oysters, steak tar tar, and any of the jars are amazing! The offer new items for brunch and special holidays.
Come and listen to the live music they offer and sign up for the special pairing meals they offer throughout the year. Come find a little fancy casual in downtown Tucson.

Yum! Came here for brunch and devoured the huevos rancheros. The 32oz. drinks are also amazing and quite a hefty amount. I came here accidentally on Easter, so the place was packed, but we were able to sneak into some seats at the bar window. Our service was still very good and it was really fun to be able to watch the bartenders mix up drinks.

I ordered the cavatelli pasta which one the menu says veg. My mistake in not clarifying I didn’t want the chefs special because it came out with beef… And looked and tasted Chef boyardee. I’m an adult… I don’t want beefaroni. It wasn’t even a good version and was dry. Peas would have made salvaged the dish and transformed it into gourmet version of a can of the 1990s.

We reserved a table for 2 at 5pm on a Thursday, to celebrate our Anniversary. I wrote in the memo that it is our anniversary, so when we got there the took us to one of the only corner booths. We felt like we were almost royalty, (happiness is the expectation of having no expectation).
We loved the local wine and beers we were able to have. It’s always a positive when a restaurant uses local wine and beers and not to mention the ingredients in our food!
We ordered the special, trout butter, it was like a spread that came in a tin can, like tuna, and you spread it over crackers. I’m not a big fishy kind of person, but this was not that fishy, but it tasted like smoked trout that was then made into a butter, we enjoyed it! We also got the calamari, it is a spicy calamari, if you don’t like spicy, you may not like it, but is have amazing flavor, and do skip on the sauce! That sauce was fantastic with the calamari!!!
I ordered the cavatappi, which is a chef special, it was pretty good, but it was just a bunch of meat, mushrooms, chard, mixed in with the cavatappi, but don’t get me wrong, it would eat it again, but it just isn’t as good as the ‘Sous Vide Hanger Steak,’ if you want a fantastic meal, go with that! The Hanger steak is amazing and you will not regret it!!!
My husband ordered the ‘Braised Colorado Lamb Curry’ which was also really good! This meal and the hanger steak are two must try at Agustin Kitchen.

Nice. This establishment looks good! Nice décor. Clean. Food was good. Had the tartar. Nicely prepared. Curry leg of lamb for the main. Had rice, potatoes herbs. Very fresh and had some spice! Which was very nice! Nice drink selection! Service was good! Definitely will be back to try something else. Maybe their oysters… Not a long and complicated menu. Like the freshness.

Service, food and atmosphere were great.
This is my second time here in 2 weeks and I was absolutely pleased both times.
Servers are polite, attentive, knowledgeable about their menu. Atmosphere was a bit loud but everyone’s having a good time so it can’t be helped.
Both times I was here, I got their lamb curry and it was even better the second time.
CILANTRO WARNING — This dish contains cilantro, please ask for it to be made without cilantro if you don’t like it.
I didn’t know that the first time so I spent quite a while picking it out.
7÷19÷15 lamb curry was delicious. Sauce was sufficient, lamb meat had good flavor and texture, green beans were crisp and fresh, lychee was a pleasant surprise.
8÷1÷15 lamb curry was again delicious (better cuz I remembered to order it without cilantro), the rest of the ingredients were just as delicious as last time if not more delicious, and they added loads of basil leaves this time which added another pleasant flavor burst.
What was especially good about my meal this time is that I got MANY chunks of meat and a lot of curry sauce. But my friend across from me got much less sauce so I shared. Her bowl also looked less full than fine… so one thing might be portion control, but I got the better end of that stick ;D
Special cocktail that night was also delicious, rum tequila pineapple and some other stuff, 6 $.
The oysters from Chesapeake bay (forgot menu title, but description says they’re from Chesapeake) were also good. Good fishy flavor that I like plus their sauces, one of which was very refreshing. Red sauce could’ve used some more horseradish.
Fries are delicious, thin and full of flavor.
Calamari was fine, I don’t eat that dish that much but it was okay, worth trying if you like it.
Aside from great food and service, I absolutely loved that it wasn’t in downtown. Nice open space with decent parking.

Amazing. One of the best chefs and restaurants in Tucson. You really can’t go wrong with anything on each of the seasonal menus. I love the chippino on the winter menu, which has a ton of seafood and a rich tomorr broth and gooey cheese. The scallops are also good if you want seafood, but something lighter. The pork belly on the scallops is divine. For appetizers, get the jars. They change all the time, but omg are they good. The brûléed goat cheese is another solid starter as with the calamari. For brunch, I love the giant mimosas and bloody Mary’s, that’s a steal for $ 9. While I’ve had a few different dishes at brunch, my go to is the heuvos rancheros. Black beans, perfectly cooked egg, cilantro, avocado and salsa. Yum. It’s a tie with the heuvos at 5 points market.
You can make reservations on opentable which is nice. There is a small patio are overlooking the mercado too.

We came here for dinner and had an absolutely wonderful experience. You can either sit inside their swanky elegant dining room or outside in the courtyard which is shared with other businesses surrounding it. We opted for the courtyard which I loved which was simple but with italian string lights surrounding us creating a romantic atmosphere.
We started with their «Current Jars’ which is a must get. It comes with four spreads which were all delicious. I liked the foie gras and the smoked salmon ones the best, but my fiancée’s favorite were the other two, tampenade and burrata.
We shared the Summer Wedge salad which I enjoyed especially because of the sun-​dried tomatoes and also the Vegetable Pot Pie. I was a bit ambivalent about the dish– I felt that the vegetables inside could have been better flavored and I didn’t really like the puff pastry twist on the pie itself. My fiancée however loved it and would recommend it.
There was so much more on the menu we wanted to try and will definitely be back! Our server was attentive and sweet.

Inviting décor. I love that the menu has something for everyone. We would have sat outside on the last visit had the weather not been so hot. Instead we chose the bar area (more quaint & cozy), over the dining room (more sophisticated and formal) since we were having brunch.
The presentation on all of their dishes are very lovely. Some of my favorite things from the brunch menu here are:
The Heirloom Chia seed Pudding, which comes out looking so perfect you almost don’t want to mess it up.
The Two Eggs any style plate is great. I love their toast, it’s very thick sliced, slathered with the jam they bring out is fantastic.
The Local Wagyu Burger is terrific with their string fries– which don’t last very long because they’re so crispy and perfect.
I have yet to try their mason jar drinks that I keep hearing so much about.
