Banana Republic

I’ve always loved Banana Republic, the clothes always fit and don’t get worn out and mishappen after being washed a few times.
After last Sunday I love them even more. We went in here as our first stop on our shopping trip to buy my fiancé a suit for our wedding. It became our only stop.
The staff in the dressing room was super helpful finding him the right size and offering us advice. In fact I witnessed them be helpful to a great many people (we were in there awhile). One woman came in with no idea what she wanted to wear to an event and the woman working the dressing room went out and found her a ton of options, and seemed quite happy to be doing so.
As for the suit it fits so well and looks amazing. I know he will wear it for years to come. Bonus, it was 40% off day on everything in the store. If you’re looking to buy something that costs several hundred dollars, look for 40% off day, I would have paid full price but I was pretty excited that we got a jacket, pants and shirt for the same price the jacket was originally.

Thanks everyone! Because of the help of pretty much everybody that was working today (I have trouble making decisions) I have a snazzy outfit to wear to the 20^th Anniversary Performance of my high school’s Vocal Jazz group Take One! I wish I nailed the outfit on the first take, but it took close to an hour and a half. Luckily there were folks to keep me entertained as I went from shirt to shirt to shirt… to shirt, and finally settled on a «soft wash» woven from their summer collection. Soft wash indeed! I just pulled it out of the dryer to pack on up and I wish I could sleep on it! Banana has long been my clothier since I worked for the company what seems like forever ago. Aside from well crafted clothing, the service you find is unlike any other «boutique» style store. They run specials all the time, so if it’s the price that keeps you away, wait for a coupon!
