Baskin Robbins

Went at 750 pm on a Saturday night. No free parking around! !
Out of waffle cones! Huge fail. Plus, the girl was less than friendly. Will not return.

Let’s get something straight: the ice cream, donuts, coffee, etc. here are all standard and great because it’s Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins. In fact, I go here pretty regularly because it’s the closest place to me for satisfying a sweet fix, and I’ve never been actually disappointed with the product. It’s the service that’s the worst. First of all, it’s not that hard to scoop ice cream. Often I get lots, because I’ll be the delivery girl for my friend group, but I always tip generously (usually about $ 5+, when many people don’t even tip at all) and I just get scowled at the whole time. No enthusiasm whatsoever. I don’t expect them to be downright joyful, but I don’t need them to be rude. They always act like it’s the absolute greatest inconvenience for them to serve me, and that’s only after the delayed reaction of realizing they have a customer. I’m always hoping that a combination of tipping and frequent visits will someday cause the employees to at least SMILE but it’s been two years now and it’s never happened. If you have the choice, just get ice cream somewhere else. Support a local place where customer service is actually a well-​known concept.

There was 1 person in front of me who waited for literally 7 – 8 minutes before even being SPOKEN to by an employee. There were 2 employees working, both organizing things behind the counter while we just stood there… I then realized they were looking for cones for someone at the other side at the Baskin Robins end who ordered ice cream. The one worker went back to cleaning out the toaster oven and the other brought the customer down the register to pay for his ice cream — and STILL didn’t say anything to the man in front of me who was there, like «be right with you sir, sorry about the wait». Finally after about 10 minutes, the nearly empty Dunkin Donuts was able to take my order. The iced coffee was fantastic.

It’s good but not like the ones we have back home in bean town. At least it’s their… I can deal

Good location, they close early for being a university business but I love picking a quick cone here
