History

Established in 1919.

The Tandy Leather Factory used to be two separate companies that later joined to become one. Since 1919, Tandy Leather Company has been the resource for generations of leathercrafters, providing quality leather, tools, kits and teaching resources. Since 1980, The Leather Factory has become the major leather and leathercraft supplier to manufacturers, retailers and distributors worldwide. In 2000, the two companies combined their common and rich heritage into one name, the Tandy Leather Factory, to better bring to everyone the broadest line of leather and leatherworking supplies everywhere

Having just recently moved with his family from Albuquerque, NM where he was an up and coming Tandy Leather Factory manager, he is finding Tucson and it’s eclectic mix of people and cultures an interesting and fun environment to work in. He looks forward to interacting with the people, artists, schools and businesses of the local and outlying communities.
