This food was amazing, healthy, delicious, gluten-free, and reasonably priced. I love your truck, and I hope to see you at more events around town!

I ate this food yesterday and have a major craving again today. Note: I am not vegan or vegetarian and I actually moaned when I was waiting in line because I felt I needed meat. Nonetheless, I gave it a go. So glad I did! The owner is super friendly and funny. I ordered the beet burger with the calabacitas as my side. Both were sooo much better than I expected. The beet burger had a large beet patty that was flavorful. It had sautéed peppers and onions. And pickles/tomatoes lastly. The bun was super soft and buttery tasting(he must have a culinary magician back there). The taste combo was so good and unique. *It was a little messy with all the sautéed bits sliding around between the burger and bun. A table would have been helpful. The calabacitas(which are sautéed squash, in this case w/onion too) were cooked in some kind of rubbing seasoning so they had a little not a lot of spice. I’m used to them being in a buttery cheesy mix so this was a surprise but actually was very tasty. They came out piping hot. :) I usually am not thrilled by the portion sizes for the money at food trucks, but for $ 11(I also got a pumpkin spice cookie) I couldn’t even finish my meal. I was stuffed and struggling at the end. Very happy.

I went to this place because my girl friend is Vegan. The menu items sound like they may be made with meat but everything is Vegan healthy and delicious. I had the Beet burger and fries… I didn’t give it a 5 stars because it was a bit too salty. The food for me was great and didn’t need so much salt. Oh and FYI, you have to try the Black bean Brownies!!!

This is for their new restaurant downtown which isn’t on Unilocal yet. Had the mushroom burger. It was amazing. Best veggie burger I’ve ever eaten.

Another healthy option — «cleverly disguised» in a lettuce-green«box» of a food truck. The Broccoli Tabouleh with almonds, dates, and Mediterranean dressing has become a lunchtime staple for me. But, I was also taken with the beet and fennel burger. Not your average cardboard-tasting veggie burger by a long shot! The menu is creative — and worth the wait. However. They are getting so popular, there are the expected growing pains. Employees in training can be slow. They routinely run out of popular menu items. The last time I was there, the blender broke, so a guy who’d been waiting for 20 minutes for a smoothie was refunded his money and pointed toward another truck. If they can figure out a way to be more efficient(think outside the box! har, har) and the quality of the food holds up — a fifth star is theirs.

I had the portobella mushroom burger at the Farmer’s Market at Rillito River Park today. Congratulations to the chef for now putting spinach rather than iceberg lettuce on it. It always seemed sad to be surrounded by such wonderful greens at the market, while eating a sandwich with iceberg lettuce on it. Now, it is perfect: flavorful, nice mixture of textures, vegan, and on a gluten free bun. WOW!

The food ranges from okay to delicious and innovative, their zucchini bacon being an example of the latter. The portabella burger tastes mostly of the chickpeas that form its base, which is disappointing. Their fries are a favorite for lots of people but seem a bit too crispy and oily for my personal taste. We’ve been to this food truck a few times as we are eager to support vegan businesses but after our experience today, we don’t feel comfortable returning. We were among many eager customers and waiting patiently for our order but when 20 minutes(not an exaggeration) passed and everyone that had ordered for the 20 minutes after us had receive their food, we went ahead and asked if our order was done. We got an irritated«it’s coming», and nothing more. We waited another ten minutes, wondering if we should cut our losses and then asked how much longer our order would take. They answered that it was being plated. No explanation. We’re not going back here after such a weird experience.

They were parked at the Sunday Farmers Market at the Rillito so we thought we would give them a try. We shared two dishes — a Sonoran burger and the special of the day which was a sweet and sour dish. The burger was outstanding! It came with an order of spicy fries and they were good but could have been fried a bit longer so they weren’t so limp. We were talking to others at our table who had ordered various salads and everyone seemed to enjoy their food except one who ordered a kale and quinoa salad and said the quinoa was uncooked so it was like eating sand. I’ve never heard of eating uncooked quinoa so I don’t know if this was an error or intentional but if the owners are reading this review, you may want to cook the quinoa! We will definitely try them again and I will update my review. I sincerely hope they succeed as we need more vegan choices!
