Alexander Party Rentals

We made a reservation for plates, silverware and glasses for our wedding in August. We were shorted 24 forks, which was over a quarter of the total forks we ordered! My family realized this while the set up 2 hours prior to the wedding and had to scramble at the last minute and ended up having to purchase PLASTIC forks for my WEDDING, so that my guests didn’t have to eat with their hands. We returned everything we rented except for one glass that was broken. I called on August 25^th after our honeymoon and was told the silverware was being inventoried and I would hear back on the 28^th. I did not hear back, I called back on September 2^nd and spoke with Stephanie who said Alicia was handling this and still working on it and I would hear back. I waited a couple weeks and called again on September 17^th and spoke with Bob who said inventory wouldn’t be complete until the end of September and someone would call. Again, I did not hear anything back so called AGAIN on October 27^th and spoke with Bob who said it is still «hanging out» and he would need to talk with his supervisor who was not there at that moment. He said that Alicia would call me back the next day. What a surprise when that didn’t happen! I finally receive an email stating they are sorry for the inconvenience and they will refund me for the forks that they shorted. They don’t seem to realize that they completely screwed up and instead were giving me a bunch of excuses. Horrible customer service!!! They can take their $ 10 refund and shove it!

By far the worst rental company in Seattle. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who has a brain. the scam customers, lie about equipment and charge you up the ass with imaginary fees. Their whole operation is a scam. Don’t be fooled.

My rep at Classic Party Rentals got me in contact with Alexander Party Rentals. The payment was a hassle, as they required wire transferring and kept sending me invoices with different pricing. Their rentals were in tip top shape which was a plus, however they forgot one of my items. The next day, one of their office employees made a special trip out which was appreciated. It wouldn’t be the end of the world if I had to use them again based on their efficient prices, but would like to go with another vendor, hoping for easier communication and payment.

The team at Alexander Party Rentals is our go to team for our rental needs. As president of a small nonprofit, we order party supplies maybe 3 times a year. When we first set up our account, they got to know us (and what our organization does) and now everytime we order, they ask how it is going. They always have had what we needed, including a last minute order addition. Everything we rent always comes super clean and with instructions on how to use it. Always ready and waiting for us and I really have nothing but great things to say. Thank you for being there for us!

Always helpful! I work for a hotel and always need things last minute– the team at Alexander is always pulling favors fit me, and makes sure I’m well taken care of.

Super easy, local, fully stocked with everything you need to throw your party/​event! Do skip renting the table coverings if you have time to shop for something cheaper. Great staff to help you with whatever you may need, including loading your vehicle full of tables and chairs. What a time saver! Very difficult to find on your first visit. When the address numbers skip on the main road, turn down the little street and meander behind the buildings that have parking spaces. There. Easy now, right? Good luck.

This is the second time I’ve rented from Alexander for an event and each time it was just fine. I’ve always had wonderful customer service from everyone I’ve encountered there.
I prefer to communicate via email in any case, but the emails were always prompt and informative. The rentals were delivered on time and in the condition I expected.
When I forgot to confirm my rentals a month before my wedding, I panicked and emailed them at 2AM and by 10am that morning I had a ‘no problem’ reply.

Our wedding was March 31, 2011. Alexander Party Rentals was by far the nicest table service vendor that I interviewed. They were also the least expensive and the most helpful. Because we didn’t have a large guest list and didn’t need a lot of items, they allowed us to pick everything up the day before our event and then return it the following day. Also, instead of requiring us to be the ones to pick the items up, they allowed us to have our planner pick up and return the items. That relieved a lot of stress because we didn’t have to worry about how we were going to fit it into our day or worry about having to return it ourselves. They even allowed us to add a discount to our order after we had already booked their services because we had attended the Seattle Bridal Show where they had a special promotion going on. Really nice, since we were on a very tight budget. We give them 5 stars for quality of product and service.

I needed to rent a tent. And fast!
Alexander’s Party Rentals really hooked it up. I got the tent, a bag of tools and rope to secure it to the ground, and handy dandy instructions.
The tent was actually so simple to use that I didn’t need instructions. But I certainly appreciated them!
Upon driving up to their loading dock I was greeted by a really friendly employee who had my order all ready to pack up into my car. We shared some small talk, he asked about the reason I needed a tent and then sent me on my way.
I had read that the tents may be somewhat dingy but found this tent to be pretty clean. Not sparkling white but far from dingy or filthy. The price was right too! I paid less than I’d expected.
In their showrooms you get a sneak peak at some of the other rent-​ables. Tables, chairs, glassware, dishware, even napkins! This place has it all.

I rented a pop up tent, chairs, tables, linens, silverware, and china from Alexander’s Party Rentals. The ordering process was very easy and the agents were very professional. I adjusted my order several times without any hassle or problems. When I arrived for pickup, they were out of the particular silverware I had reserved but offered me an upgraded one at no extra charge. The only thing that would have been helpful might have been to see a sample or photo of the tent prior to the event. The tent I ordered didn’t quite fit on the back deck as I had planned. We found an alternate location but it might have helped to have a better idea of what to expect. Otherwise, great service and rental.

My daughters wedding was suppose to be perfect and it was except for the rental company we chose. Alexanders really let us down. We paid 135.00 extra to insure they would be there by 9am they arrived at 1130. The white chairs were dirty had drinks spilled on them from the previous party. They delivered the skirting but no clips so we could not skirt anything. Half of the table cloths were missing and 2 other items that were on our contract. Customer service was very poor, they really did not care. I would not use them again.

While their customer service is really good and their prices are excellent, but just be aware that you get what you pay for… or I guess I got what i paid for:
A somewhat dirty, dingy ‘this thing could really use some love’ pop– up tent with all the legs (but one with it’s pegs missing).
I was pretty impressed with their website, their pick up, and their convenient downtown location– with parking, I just wasn’t blown away by the quality of the pop– up; the other folks around us had the same sort of tents an theirs were finely oiled, clean, and went up in a matter of minutes.
One thing I found nice was that they actually made it a point to call me and let me know a few days prior that Sunday was going to be windy, so that I might not want to have my tent set up over night, as it might blow away. I thought that was pretty cool.
If you’re fine with reasonably priced items that have seen better days, rent away… just beware if you’re ordering their tents for events where you want a ‘clean crispy party tent,’ this place might not be for you.

Having party needed table and chairs and few other items. Ordering was easy, delivery on time the day of party and all items ordered showed up as expected. Only issue was we ordered silverware for 20 people and got it for 200 there was some other party missing some forks that night. Every thing else was great would use again.
