History
Established in 1896.
Since 1896, Rainier has provided quality display, fabric and shelter products to satisfied customers around the world.
Rainier, previously known as Puget Sound Tent & Awning, was established in 1896, specializing in tents, custom fabric products and awnings for a growing Puget Sound area. The company began by providing tents and camping supplies for prospectors headed north for the Alaskan Gold Rush.
In 1984 the company was purchased by the current owner, Scott Campbell — and he began a series of acquisitions and expansions to transform the company into a unique and diverse custom manufacturing business.
Today, our product lines have grown from tents and awnings to include:
Retractable awnings for the home
Motorized solar shade screens for homes and businesses
Yurts
Display graphics for retailers
Stadium graphics for collegiate, professional sports teams & three Olympic Games
We continue to add new equipment and expand into new markets.
