History

Established in 2009.

Pita Pit was founded on the idea that people want an exciting alternative to fast food restaurants – a place with great tasting food that’s healthy, fresh, and still served fast. (Because who isn’t burned out on burgers and pizza, and bottomed out on subs?) So Pita Pit ditched all the heavy breads and buns – along with the higher carbs and fat that today’s health-​conscious consumers are trying to avoid. Instead, we came up with our own special light and tasty Lebanese-​style pitas. We filled them with leaner, savory meats that could be grilled to perfection. Unique flavorful cheeses. A larger choice of crisp, fresh veggies and our own zesty signature sauces. Once we began serving lunch and dinner, our unique idea took off. People of all ages and professions have quickly come to love Pita Pit. Franchising began in Canada in 1997, it came to the US, where today it’s quickly spread to locations nationwide. The location in Tukwila opened in 2009 and offers Catering and Breakfast too.

I am a young active mother. Healthy eating has always been very important to me, but it has to be quick and tasty too… The Pita Pit franchise was a perfect fit for my current goals in life.

My business background has been primarily in Retail Management and Ownership. This has given me 10 years in customer service, leadership, coaching, and training which I incorporate into the Pita Pit. I enjoy what we provide and the responce from my customers says it all! You will see me in the shop week days at luch time grilling and rolling your tasty pita’s. The rest of the time I have my kids in tow, I’m a mom first and Pita Pro second. When my kids are around, they get put to work to earn their fresh baked cookies :)
