History

Established in 1977.

Charter Oak Landscape was originally founded by Brady Johnston in Visalia, ca.

Charter Oak quickly established a reputation of superior quality and on time delivery in the custom residential building market. Attention to detail, innovative design and meticulous overview of product and plant quality were high on all Charter Oak projects.

After servicing the landscape needs of the central valley for over 30 years Brady relinquished control of Charter Oak Landscape to now owner, Joel Brown. Brady still participates in the company on a consulting basis and cultivates client communication on a regular basis.

Business Owner

Joel Brown received his Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2008. He was raised in the Landscape industry and received great satisfaction in working outside and creating a living environment were once nothing existed.

After college Joel spent several years in Fresno working for a Landscape Architecture firm and large scale Landscape Contracting Company were he gained valuable experience which he utilizes on a daily basis in his own Landscape Contracting Company.
