I knew I should have stuck with enterprise! My friend suggested we give hertz a try instead of enterprise just to check them out. Never again, I don’t think our car was ever cleaned.

I went in to rent a car from them after a horrible bad experience with enterprise. I went to hertz, the guy who helped us I believe Manuel was his name was very helpful and kind. It was a quick process. I was in and out.

These people are the worst. I called two weeks ahead of time to arrange a car rental so I could take my car in for a day for auto body work. I took a day off work. I lined up multiple doctor and dentist appointments, one out of town, for my daughter and took her out of school for the day.
A Hertz representative was supposed to pick me up at 8 at the auto body place. By 8:15 nobody had arrived. I called. They said someone would come get me. I called again at 8:30. Again at 8:45. Somebody finally arrived. I got to the rental office, about 3 miles from the auto body place, around 9. I waited. And waited. And waited. There was no one in front of me in line, and nobody willing to rent me my car. Finally, at 9:45, someone came in to tell me they didn’t have a car for me. No explanation. They knew I was coming. They just didn’t arrange for a car.
Think about that. I arranged for this car rental TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE. They told me I couldn’t have a car TWO HOURS AFTER I was supposed to be given a car. By the time they were finally honest with me about the fact they hadn’t reserved a car for me, I was already late for my daughter’s orthodontist appointment. I missed a day of work and my daughter missed a day of school so we could get multiple things done. We were late to all our appointments and inconvenienced doctors and an orthodontist because these clowns couldn’t get their act together.
I called Enterprise in Turlock and they rented me a car immediately for a slightly lower price than Hertz. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS RENTAL OFFICE. Go to Enterprise instead.

I would like to give this place a negative star rating. I reserved a car online for 6 pm and arrived just before that, waited in line while the customer service lady was waiting on challenging customer that took a long time and left unable to rent a car, then checked a car in after that. when I walked up to the counter with my online reservation she said «I’m sorry we close at 6:00, I cant rent you a car!!!» When I replied I was able to reserve the car for 6 she stated I should have come earlier!!! No apologies, no reasonable explanation, just rude and very poor customer service!!! I would never recommend anyone renting from this place. When I contact Hertz for my complaint I hope they will at least make some changes to their website so no one wastes their time driving there again for nothing… well I did get something… bad attitude and lots of frustration!!!

This place sucks, and don’t forget the hidden charges applied to your account several days after the return of the
mini van shook so bad I was really considerably the front end. STAY AWAY FAR AWAY!!!

Horrible service! The employee there named Josh, took his sweet time while he had a line of customers to help. He had no social, managerial, or professional skills. It tookover 2 hours to get a car. I felt bad for the elderly people ahead of us that were also being treated horribly by Josh but didn’t say anything. Rent a car somewhere else and save yourself the trouble of the wait and horrible service!

The assistant manager couldn’t have moved any slower than he did the day I made the mistake of renting from these clowns. It took nearly 2 hours to finally get a car after they «lost» my reservation. Despite the line, and the people audibly grumbling about the wait, he continued to amble around as if there was no need to speed things up whatsoever. He couldn’t have cared less and offered no apology. I will not rent from these jokers again. Save some time and call somebody else!
