DCH Tustin Acura

I am not sure what happened to the service department here, but I will have to find a new place for my RDX.
Back in April, I brought my car in for service and new brakes. After picking up the car, I had to turn back within a couple of blocks because of a loud noise coming from the front of the car. I had to leave the car for an extra day and it turned out that some water or oil was spilled on the drive belt and it had to be replaced.
Last week I brought the car in for a slow start problem. The problem was diagnosed and the starter was replaced. I picked up the car and the engine light came on within two blocks of the dealership. I again had to turn back and leave the car for another day. This time it turned out a sensor was not connected correctly. To make matters worse, I go to pick up my car the next morning and they could not find my keys because it was mis-​tagged.

So I come here with the intention to negotiate a used mdx but the sales person and managers refused to come back with a counter offer after I went lower than sticker price. I was so disappointed in the service and customer care that I would NEVER GO BACK! So I decided to buy a Infiniti JX35 right next to them. I hope the management and owners know this is going on at their place of business. Not only did I not feel like they didn’t need my business, they didn’t even do a follow up call like their competitors who I went to. So sad to have a horrible experience for such a good brand. Well they lost more than just a customer but a future buyer and I will tell others to stay away when asked about DCH Acura. Hope one day they care again.

I’ve been here countless of times, my family owns at least 4 Acuras: 2 TL (08,10), 1 MDX (09) and one RL (12). The service guys will make sure you walk out happy. I had an issue with the MDX not too long ago and Eric the Service Manager will make sure I am taken care of! Also brought my 08 tl to get a key cut and I didn’t have to wait long. These guys are much more cooperative than the ones at South Coast.

I had a recently purchase a car at DCH Tustin Acura. My salesman, Abe, was very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a great car

This review is for the service department. I called ahead to make appointment for the A123 service. I was quoted a price of $ 199 for the service. I asked the gentleman who took my call to go over the services to be included in the price. I was told the services would include:
1. oil & filter change
2. tire rotation — I asked if wheel balance service is included and was told «no»
3. replace engine air filter & cabin air filter
4. replace automatic transmission fluid and transfer case fluid
When I got to the service department a few days later for the appointment, I was given the break-​down of all the services which came to a total of $ 344.80. I told the service technician that I was quoted a price of $ 199 for the A123 service. I asked him to check with the gentleman that booked the appointment for me and was told that he was off on that day. I was then asked to have the service manager to call me about the price discrepancy. I then left my car there and went home with the loaner.
After I got home, I decided since there was such a huge price difference, I asked them to remove the engine air filter & cabin air filter ($ 139.95) and the tire rotation ($ 24.95 which did not even include the wheel balancing). I called the local Costco tire department and found out that they could provide the tire rotation AND wheel balance service for a mere $ 25 even if my tires were not purchased from Costco.
The service manager called me back a few hours later. He apologized for the quoted price; however, would not honor it. He called back later again and offered to reduce the price for the engine air filter and cabin air filter from $ 139.95 down to $ 61 to cover the parts only.
It was a good gesture from the service manager to finally offer a little in return; however, the original disappointment from the quoted price still lingered. I would think twice before getting service again from DCH Tustin Acura.

This dealership was probably the easiest I dealt with when I was in the market to lease a car. I came in Nov/​Dec 2015 for a test drive only. Then came in a couple weeks ago to lease a 2016 ILX. I made my decision to go to this dealership because of Sarun and the service she provided me! She met all my needs and most importantly she was very honest. When I was shopping around, I honestly hated going to different dealerships because they were so aggressive and pushy. So, thank you Sarun, Justin and Farest for making my car buying experience great.

Came in last minute, right before close. These guys made a deal that we couldn’t walk away from. We have visited several Acura dealerships across the state, my advice, learn from our experience, drive past everyone else and head straight to these guys! Best deal hands down and great team. This will be our new dealership from now on.
Update 5-​2-​2016. Still beyond happy with this Acura dealership. Acura has a phenomenal product so experiencing the level of customer service with a product this quality is simply unmatched. We have an Acura dealership less than five miles from us, we still drive the 80 miles to this location, you simply cannot beat the customer service.
Dropped our Acura off this morning for window etching and some other detail type items. Everyone is great, Erik is the service manager and treated us amazing! Calls before the appointment to make sure very thing was covered etc. I am glad that we decided to continue looking into Acura and ecstatic to find this dealership. Try them out yourselves, you will not be disappointed.

We have leased one 2014 MDX and purchased three 2016 RDX cars, yes, THREE. We thoroughly enjoy working with Abe because he’s professional and understands our needs. He asks good questions and is more interested in making sure we’re comfortable and happy with our purchases. He is prompt to follow-​up on our questions and is diligent in finding the model, configuration and color combinations we wanted. No pressure from him. He’s a joy to work with.
I pray for you if you have to deal with the manger, Steve Hahn. He DOES NOT care for the relationship, just the sale. So, be sure to get your quote from Costco and AAA. Depending on the model, one quote of the other is more favorable. Abe will do his best and all that is within his authority to get you the best deal. Ultimately, there’s a manger involved. If it’s Steve Hahn, pray.
Case in point, the finance person (they’re all pretty friendly and easy to work with) inadvertently charged us the $ 90+ transfer fee so that the owner of the serialized numbers etched on the windows (theft deterrent) will show you as the new owner of record. Honestly, it doesn’t matter if it still shows DCH, point is, it doesn’t show the thief who stole the car as owner of record. Anyway, instead of having the finance person redo the mess of paperwork, because after 7 hours of negotiating for two RDX cars that day, we were ready for dinner. Steve Hahn promised to make it right. Which meant he’d sell us the $ 60 sunshade at cost. Seems petty that they couldn’t just throw that in, but I guess it’s about the sale, not the relationship.
We’ll be looking for another dealer for our next Acura this year. Unless we can avoid working with Steve. We sure will miss Abe though!

I researched a lot about cars. I went from Kia Optima then Acura ILX. Their prices were just 2 thousands different, but Acura was one of my best choice among others. I searched for its price, gas mileage, best dealer before buying, what kinds of safety recalls they have, what costs for maintenance, etc. This car is worth more than it costs. It’s a perfect car for me. Nice body style and great color slate silver (silver mixed with baby blue) in beige interior. My buying experience was fun, friendly and smooth with Hooman Keyvan at DCH Tustin Acura. Hooman is a great and enthusiasm internet sales manager. I was so happy with both great deal and outstanding customer service here. Hooman is beyond car expert. He is an Acura genius and smart internet sales manager. He replied my email at 8:30 AM when he just got into his office. This shows me that he works very hard, so he deserves to have my business. I need to find someone who cares his or her job. Tips, make sure you clarify that you’re going to purchase or lease a car, and ask for final price in email writing.
When I showed up for a test drive, Hooman drove it and taught me all features of the car. I drove half way back. He is also an Apple iphone genius. The best thing I like about him is a very flexible negotiator. His sale skills is excellent. He isn’t a pushy. I highly recommend working with Hooman.

I love coming here for all my Acura needs. Rich is amazing and always made sure that I am taken care of when I drop of my car off for service. I was living in LA and drove down to Tustin to get my car serviced. (Well, that’s why I racked up a lot of mileage.) I love that my car tells me when I need to bring it in. The guys here are great and really takes care of my car. It’s voted the best by JD Power for a reason. It is almost always busy here, so I try to call Rich prior to dropping my car off. The guys here are honest and they are not trying to steal all your hard earned money for car repairs.
They have a small waiting room with a tv for you to kill time while waiting for your car, but I always find it best to go to Costco to kill time. Costco is within walking distance and you can entertain yourselves in there for a few hours.

I bought a certified 2014 ILx from their dealership. With in 30 miles of driving it home, the tire sensors went off! Plus noticed I had zero break lights when I pulled into my drive way!!! Had to take to different dealer and replace two tire sensors since they screwed up two when the installed the new tires… After noticing a clicking sound for two weeks I finally went to a different dealership to get checked out!!! Metro Acura found that Tustin Acura left a snap on screw driver inside one of my tires! I drove 3000 miles like this!!! Will never ever go back not buy a car from them!!! If. I could post the picture of this I would!!!

It’s been a few years and we’ve enjoyed our Acura TSX we got from Abe and the lease is up and they don’t make the TSX anymore. In the meantime we had our first child and are feeling the need for more room.
We visited the showroom a few weeks ago and spoke to Abe again after our great experience with him last time. We test drove the RDX and looked over all the options. Abe was very informative and helpful. I’m in sales and I appreciate an informative and no pressure atmosphere. He asked for the sale but understood we weren’t ready and needed to go look at some other dealerships.
We checked out Subaru, Lexus and I even test drove a Tesla (next time) but decided the Acura RDX was the one for our family at this time. We called Abe back and went over some numbers and he was very helpful. We have family in the car business and friends who work at another Acura dealership and confirmed with them we were getting the very best deal.
We set an appt to come in and pick up the car and go over all the paperwork and trade in the TSX. Abe was great and made sure to have the car ready, washed twice, and knew our time was valuable because we had the baby with us. I think everyone knows the process of actually sitting down to fill out the paperwork etc isn’t the most fun but Abe made it as smooth as possible and got us out the door in a timely manner in our new RDX.

Under the auspice’s of DCH Tustin Acura, both internet managers (and Fares), executed the art of dealership with precision, which enabled me to experience informed choice and a sense of care. Because I seek the holy grail in all things, I close the review with this comment, «Character of a person will always reveal itself in time. Therefore, I rest believing we receive back what we know».
Hooman and Gilbert have represented DCH as a business in pursuit of good. Great I seek and I shall do so with my new Acura!

I have bought two cars from Sarun Phở at DCH Tustin in the last 6 months, and in a perfect world all sales people and dealerships would work this way.
Since we live about an hour and a half away, I did all of my negotiating with Sarun online for both transactions. She is always prompt, courteous, and professional. Rather than write you a 5000 word essay on everything I went through with the other 17 dealerships (not kidding), let me just say — EVERYTHING positive you are looking for in a vehicle transaction, you will receive here. I’m not sure why I even wasted time looking at other cars or talking to other dealerships. Bottom line, DCH Tustin Acura is the best.
Once we arrived in person, (each time) the vehicles were ready for us to go. We took them on a quick test drive, and then we were headed over to complete paperwork. Each time the gentleman who handles all of the paperwork (signatures, etc) was fast, polite, and efficient. There were no hard sells of extras, just in and out. Once I could consider an anomaly, but twice? This place is just quality.
I cannot say enough great things about Sarun and the team at DCH. I am 100% satisfied with both of my transactions there and this is one referral I am quick and happy to give.

***its been over a week! Originally it was just an oil change service, it ended up with a big scrape on the body with a dent. We called to find out why it’s taking so long and all they said was its still in the body shop and they have no idea. I told them it’s their fault to cause damages to my car and basically they just don’t care. The service department guy named George simply just ignored me and said his responsibility today is to call and notify me not to expect the car to be ready today (supposed to be yesterday). I told him that I shouldn’t have to go through all these cos it was just an oil change service… and now I have to wait and wait until they call to let me know when it’s ready. I am literally mad!
Just don’t purchase any service package from them!!! Which I already told my friend not to purchase while they were there for an Internet deal! ***
I have no idea why this dealership revived 4 stars on Unilocal!Well, the Internet sales rep might be nice but the service department is TERRIBLE!
Poor customer service! The service advisors and cashiers are all rude and why are we receiving this kind of service as a customer? If you have no choice but have to buy a car from this DCH Acura, don’t get the service package! You will regret it and get stuck with them for few years!
The worse thing is, you brought your car in for service and came home to find out there’s a big scratch!!! Not a tiny spot but a big area! I am sure whoever moved the car should know what he/​she did while driving. But they just pulled up the car and let us picked up without mentioning a word. DISHONEST! I was trying to be a responsible driver and didn’t get any dent or mark but now, a dent & scratch during my car service. How can you trust a dealership for being so irresponsible!

I leased a 2013 Acura ILX and I have a month and a half left before it’s up. I’m looking forward to getting rid of this and not having to deal with these people, even if it ends up costing me at least $ 1500 to do it.
The day I got my car, I was looking forward to it so I overlooked a few annoyances.
1) After we agreed on a price, the finance manager drafted the paperwork, but turned out it was for the wrong vehicle. So he had to re-​do it. That was fine, mistakes happen.
2) After he drafted new paperwork, I noticed the payment amount went up a few cents. Sure, it’s only pennies, but it adds up so I told him to fix it. He acted like I was burdening him with this request.
3) After being at the dealership for hours upon hours because the paperwork revisions took forever, I finally drove off the lot. And immediately the «check tire pressure» light came on, so I circled back to tell them. Since this process took so long, all the technicians went home. I was told it’s probably just a minor sensor issue and that it should be fine.
4) Turns out, this light continued to turn on every 3 – 4 months like clockwork.
5) As my lease is ending soon, I stopped by recently to better understand the process since it was my first lease. I was told that they’ll «make it better.» Yeaaa, that tells me absolutely nothing. (I’ve been in sales for a decade. if a client asked me a specific question and I responded with «oh, it’ll be better for you,» I wouldn’t make a living). The salesperson made several assumptions about me as well, which was annoying. I get that I appear young, but asking if I’ve found a job yet, thinking I’m fresh out of college is a dumb assumption to make. Also commenting that «young people» like certain features in cars isn’t going to influence me. Most annoyingly, he assumed that I would get a 2016 Acura ILX and drafted a quote on a car that we had never even discussed (on top of that, it was a terrible deal).
6) After all this, I asked again for the info I actually came in for. Even then, some info was left out and I had to ask specifically what the disposition fee was.
The only positive experience I had was with the service team. They did a good job and were always friendly and helpful. Only wish they washed the car too like some other Toyota dealers I know, but not a big deal.

I’ve been asking for a pink slip because I never got one, but no one calls me back despite my messages. What’s going on? Going to try again today.
Also when I purchased a vehicle from here long ago, I was basically guilt tripped into leaving a good review for the salesman there. I regret not leaving an honest feedback. He was a terrible salesperson.

DCH Tustin Acura is an exceptional dealership, I’ve seen them represented in community events and they are great at delivering customer service.
My mom has a 2013 MDX and I have a 2004 MDX. This summer, we may be looking for a 2016 MDX! Acura in general is a top notch luxury brand that beats others in aspects of reliability and safety. Or I could be bias cause we are an Acura family.
Kyle in the service department is really great, when I’ve had little problems, he has always been able to help me really fast — in and out fast.

My husband just purchased a 2015 TLX and he couldn’t be happier with his new car and excellent customer service provided by Samuel, he was very professional not pushy at all, my husband went in with specific numbers in mind and Samuel made it happen.
