I have never had such a flawless experience getting a smog in my whole 4 years of owning a car LOL!
I just moved back into town and in the process of re-​registering my car and I needed a smog, I use to go spots in Huntington Beach and Orange but since I live in Irvine I needed something closer, the night before I came here I bookmarked this spot and saw nothing but great reviews so I knew this was the spot for me.
This place is in the middle of a carwash so its a bit tricky to navigate but once you do the employees are super nice, luckily there was no one in line and I was seriously finished in 10 minutes! I’ve never had a smog so fast in my life! Usually most smogs take 30 – 45 minutes but I was able to get to AAA before they closed to register my car!
The young employee was so nice and he made this so smoothly and effortlessly I’m definitely coming back when I need another smog and sending my sister here when it’s her turn to get one. One smog+certificate = $ 48.00!

Getting my car smog checked is something I dread! This was unbelievably fast and smooth. Angel was my attendant. He was super friendly, competent and professional. They even throw in a car wash. I highly recommend this place. Will never go anyplace else for a smog check.

I requested a quote via Unilocal and was provided the working hours, cost of the Smog Check with a breakdown of electronic DMV update costs.

In the quote message I was provided with the URL below. It answers all the Smog Check questions as well as detailing what a Star Certified location was.
3) Immediate Attention To A Customer
I walked in and they were able to check me in immediately. Manny (from his shirt name tag) helped me out. I don’t remember the name of the other gentleman who ushered me in.
4) Short Wait Time
They wrapped up in 15 minutes. Superb service.
5) Free Car Wash
I was provided a receipt that served as a token for a free car wash right next door to the Smog Check service. The semi-​automated wash took 5 minutes. You can either drive off satisfied with their Silver package or get additional services after (such as vacuuming etc.). There is an option for self-​vacuum as well.

Great waiting area outside (although a little chilly this morning… Good thing I brought my golden retriever to keep me warm!). Was able to drive right in on a Monday morning, estimated time 10 – 15 mins. You get a free car wash with their deal. The guys were both really nice for the 5 seconds I talked to them.

No appointment needed, staff is professional and VERY pleasant! They had me in and out in 10 minutes or less, and that was with someone already in being tested before my car, so even if there is a line, you won’t be waiting long. Excellent place, and you get a free express wash! I will definitely come here every time I need to get my car smog-​checked. They were even kind enough to let me hang in their waiting area afterward while I had new tires put on next door (too hot & stuffy inside tire store). Very comfy chairs outside in breezy, shaded area; they repurposed the old self-​serve car wash, which I think is pretty smart. Thanks, guys!

It’s that time of the year again: The required STAR Certified Smog Check for a registration renewal. Never have I had a pleasant testing experience before… until I tried out Jamboree Smog. As I rolled up to the station on a nice and quiet Wednesday afternoon, a kind gentleman approached me as soon as he saw me. His name was Omar; with a bright and positive attitude, he came up to my window, greeted me, and was ready to rock and roll with papers in hand. Within 3 minutes, my car was in the testing booth on that dynamometer being put through the usual tests and checks. I sat down on a nearby stool, observing the professionalism that was being displayed. In what equated to about 15 minutes, my car was finished with the test with passing results, the inspection report sent electronically to DMV, and I was sitting back in my car. Omar thanked me for my business, mentioned to me that I may redeem my free car wash with my smog check purchase, and I was on my way! In what normally is such a hassle and waste of time, this experience has been the ABSOLUTE BEST that I have ever had for a smog check. The excellent price was unbeatable too, as of this writing is $ 40 for the test and a certificate, with a free car wash included. I shall definitely return here again for my future smog certification needs, and I HIGHLY recommend this location.

Getting a smog check isn’t typically a memorable experience. You go in, get it done, and leave. The experience I had here was atypical of the norm.
The gentleman working there, Kal, had a great attitude and treated me like the first customer of the day. While my car was being tested we were chatting and I mentioned a few concerns I had about it. He was super knowledgeable and showed genuine concern when advising me.

I came here because of the already fantastic reviews on Unilocal,but also because they are open early Sundays. As one who works full-​time, volunteers, and goes to school, it is hard to fit into my crammed schedule something like a required smog check. Enter Jamboree Smog. Not only did they do a great, FAST STAR-​certified smog check, they did it for a reasonable price and it included a free car wash! And they did it on an early Sunday morning, — when all the other smog places are closed. Convenient, affordable, with perks. I would give them 10 stars if I Unilocal would let me.

Do you hate going to get a smog test because it takes «forever»? Or you have to bring someone along with you to pick you up and drop you back off?
I thought I was going to have to wait here for at least 30 minutes before I get my smog check done… nope… that wasn’t the case. The service here is easy, fast, efficient and you don’t have to put up with shit face.
Jamboree Smog is definitely the place to come when you want to get your smog check completed. It’s about $ 30.00 including a free car wash for all under 20 minutes.

Tim was super friendly and fast. In less than 15 minutes we were out and he had already sent the info to the dmv. They have a nice area for seating… I find it amusing that they’ve renovated a self service car wash just for that purpose

I rushed here after work, and arrived 20 minutes before closing… I was in and out within 15 minutes. They currently have a promotion for $ 30 off so my smog check + certificate was a grand total of $ 48. This is about $ 10-​$ 20 cheaper than the other places in the area.
The guy working there (I think his name is Lucky, according to my receipt) was friendly and fast! He greeted me, did my smog check, sent it to the DMV, and I was on my way.
Did I also mention this comes with a FREE car wash that you can redeem immediately or at any later time? Since I knew there was imminent rainfall, I held off for the time being. I’ve gotten my car washed here before and it’s pretty decent, so it’s really quite a deal! :)

This is hands down the best smog check station I have ever been to. Not only is the owner kind, but the service was above and beyond. My gas cap ring had a crack in it, and the owner went to O’Reilly’s and got me a new one. Everyone is incredibly kind and the service was incredibly fast.
Not sure if it’s a current promotion or if it is part of their smog check package, but I also received a free car wash as well. I drive an older car, and as I was driving away, I noticed the weatherstripping on my car was falling off. The owner saw me drive away and called me just to make sure I was aware of it. He offered to put it back on for me if I didn’t know how to. The level of service and customer care here is so genuinely appreciated. I wish more business owners took care of their customers like this. They are sincere and deserve your business at Jamboree Smog. Will definitely come back!
Forgot to mention — I bumped into something several years ago and always thought my front bumper was scratched because a section was now brown instead of blue. The owner saw it, put some acetone on it, et voilà! The brown spots went away revealing my pretty blue paint again. I’m telling you — the owner is extremely considerate and kind. I will start recommending this place to all my friends and family!

Jamboree Smog is hands down the BEST smog shop that I have ever been to.
Their customer service is excellent and the smog checked my car fast.
I was going to drop my car off and come back, but they told me that it may be best to wait because the car will not take long to smog.

My car didn’t pass smog at a different place so I did a few things and brought it here today hoping it would pass.
1. They close at 6pm but they smiled and took me in at 5:59pm anyways.
2. The price was $ 20 less here than where I went in Mission Viejo. Jamboree Smog will retest for free if I don’t pass. Other place would have charged me $ 32 to retest.
3. The guys name was Lucky and he was very smiley and easy to talk to and got me in and out in 20 mins. I was lucky to meet Lucky.
4. After I paid I got a receipt offering a free car wash next door. That’s probably worth $ 20!
