I am a 3rd Degree Black Belt, Head Instructor at the School of Oom Yung Doe. I started training in 1999 at the Tustin school. I was 38 yrs old and felt 50. Years of sports had left me with chronic ankle and back pain. At the time I had no intention of trying Martial Arts and went to get my son started. I like many thought Martial Arts was a young persons activity. While that may be true with some Martial Arts I saw immediately that was not true at this school. 13 yrs later and pain free I am 51 yrs old and feel 28. Quite a reversal, that’s not supposed to happen. Over the years I have seen many students fix themselves to lead a happier and more meaningful life. Physically, Mentally and Spiritually you can make yourself stronger and if we are stronger as individuals then we are more equipped to be better partners, spouses and parents. Better people
