This is one of the best shops in the area. I had my work done back in May 2015. The more I spend time will the car, washing, waxing, and looking at the fit an finish of a whole new rear end, the more I appreciate this place. I think due to such high end work, they tend to attract high end expectations, and thus very picky customers like me. I will always come back to this shop, even though it didn’t rank on the highest reference list from the insurance company list of shops. Shout out to Fernando Jacobo to managed my vehicle/​account beginning to end.

Brian Rivera did a great job getting my 2011 M3 in perfect order, back in Oct 2015. It took a little while, but the job was done right. 4 months later, no issues with electrical nor mechanical. Paint looks original.

A very picky friend of mine recommended Sterling to me for work on my 2015 Lexus. Insurance company initially said «it’s repairable» only 10K. My car was towed to Sterling and my advisor Brian & I walked the car & he pointed out the less obvious areas of damage to the frame and told me «this car can’t be fixed»! Had insurance come back out & they conceded that it was a total loss! Brian was awesome! Even though they were not going to get any work out of this job he took the time to talk to me, my insurance & the adjuster and help me out. I’m really impressed by the customer service experience. It’s clear to me why they have so many 5 star reviews! Thank You Brian & Sterling Collision!

I read all the reviews before I decided to pick a AAA Preferred company. I made an appointment, the lady who made it over the phone at the front was very pleasant. Originally I booked Fix Auto in Irvine but the lady at the front was gruff and then I read the horrendous customer service reviews. So I called Sterling.
I dropped my car off with Charlie and Tiffany, the «Dream Team.» These 2 are on it! They had Enterprise come grab me and I was in and out in 20 minutes. I was impressed from the minute I arrived until I picked up my car a week later.
Everyday I got correspondence from Sterling, every damn day! These guys are $$ (which is a good thing.) First with an estimate (thank you AAA for paying that) and then a timeline when exactly is what to be finished and then everyday i got progress reports. The day before it was set to be done Carlos let me know it would be ready on time the next day.
On pickup day I showed up and my car was ready. I transferred the contents from my rental car into my Prius and left the keys with Tiffany after a very pleasant conversation and drove away with my car looking PERFECT.
I would do business with this team in a heart beat. But am hoping I never need to go back!!! LOL

I have to tell you that Sterling Collision was great. They did an amazing job with my car. Drives great and wouldn’t even know I was in an accident. Also wanted to mention the two ladies That worked with me on my claim there. They were amazing. (Paula Villalobos and Christine Corea a BIG Thank you). They kept me updated on my car every step of the way I would highly recommend Sterling to anyone who needed this type of service

I brought my 2015 BMW. My service advisor was Charlie C. My entire experience was wonderful. My car was completed two weeks earlier than originally quoted. The quality of work was amazing. The service was great. Emails were replied same business day updates came in regularly. I can’t say enough good things about Charlie and the people working at this location. A+ in my book. Thanks again guys.

So let me preface this by saying I am a car collector. I currently have 5 cars. I only allow two people to wash my cars, my car was guy «Kevin» or myself. I wax /​polish /​detail my cars at least once a month, and clay bar my cars about every 3 months depending on mileage. So I’m always aware of the condition of my paint.
My daily driver is my ’12 Ram 1500, which was involved in a rear end collision. From the time I dropped it off, to picked it up was over a month. During this month wait, I NEVER got an update on the truck. I got a couple emails regarding needing my signature, or an update on the price to repair estimate. I finally called after 2 weeks to get an update. I never got a call back from my service adviser. The next day, I called again. Finally spoke to the guy who told me the rear bumper was on back order, no big deal. I advised him that I would be out of town for 2 weeks, to which he replied «no problem it will be done by then.» I mentioned the « Unilocal detail» and he said it would be taken care of.
The day I got back from being out of the country, I did not have a voice mail from him, so I assumed that it was not done. The following day (Saturday) I called because I was assured my truck would be done by the time I got home. I got a hold of my adviser, who said he was «trying to get a hold of me» (I had no emails or missed calls from him) and that I was too late in the day for me to get my tuck.
The following Tuesday, I was able to leave work early and get my truck right at closing time (6pm). The fixed bumper looks great. However, the first thing I noticed is that the «clear bra» which comes from the factory on the end of the bumper was not applied (I explicitly mentioned and pointed the bra out when I dropped off the Truck, and was reassured that it would be there on the repaired bumper). He said that he would have his 3M installer install it (going on 3 weeks, no word from Brian or the Installer).
The next day during the day light I was admiring the painted bumper. The color sanding looks good, the clear coat looks good. Then I gently run the back of my hand over the hood of the truck… felt like sand paper! SO MUCH OVER SPRAY! Hood, doors, a/​b/​c/​pillar all had a very heavy coating of overs spray. Then I went to my rear rim (close to the repair) and there was so much over spray on the rim I could not correct it all. This was my fear having my truck sit at a paint shop for 5 weeks. I thought they would care for it better, or at least clay bar it and correct it before returning it to me.
I spent the next 4 hours correcting the paint with clay bar, compound, wax and sealer.
THEN I opened the bed (I have a bak-​flip bed cover and a Bedrug) There were a TON of leaves, and brown paper and tape. And the Velcro tape had been destroyed during the removal and replacement of the tailgate.
So the paint looks good, their service is less than good. Maybe if I dropped off one of my porches or mercedes it would have been a different experience…

This Place guarantees life time warranty on your paint n it’s a LIE! took my truck to get painted, my hoods paint started cracking up took it back to get checked out. Guy said something had «hit it» there no dent n I said no there’s no dent, then the Guy said it could of been «bird droppings» Bullshit. If your car/​truck is not a high end vehicle THIS PLACE IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

I’m very happy that I went with Sterling Collision for my repair. Fernando was my service advisor and he couldn’t have done a better job. He took his time explaining the process to me, he answered every question I had, and his communication was great. He emailed me exactly when he said he would, and if I emailed him with a question, I had a response within an hour. On the day I went to pick up my car, they had it ready and waiting for me. It looked brand new! The repairs were perfect, and they offer a lifetime warranty. Although I don’t want to have another accident, I would not hesitate to use Sterling Collision again.

Although it took 3 ½ weeks to get done, the work and extras were very much appreciated and done well. My client advisor did not come out for my appointment but her assistant was very nice and professional. They did not have a pick up service available for me so I had to take Über. The lobby staff could be a little bit more friendly and welcoming I had to wait 15 minutes.

I have taken my new car here both times that it has needed repairs. They do a great job everytime. Excellent customer service. Very nice and professional staff. I plan to continue to bring my car here for repairs in the future.

I took my Audi S5 to Sterling and couldn’t have been happier with the experience! It started with my client advisor, Tiffany Caroll. She was very professional and honest about the damage and time frame it would take to repair. She spoke with frankness and didn’t over promise the completion.
They have a AAA insurance rep on site, and being a AAA member, this helped me understand coverage and my out of pocket cost within minutes. This was huge in my book!
It took a little over three weeks to complete, but along the way, my service rep, Charlie, sent me update emails. This helped me understand what was being done and how far along they were.
They ended-​up competing the repair a few days prior to the initial completion date they promised. Overall, the Sterling customer experience was amazing and I would highly encourage anyone looking for the very best in collision repair coupled with exceptional customer service to call Sterling!

I have been very pleased with the service I have received so far at Sterling Collision Center.
My car (2015 Kia Optima) was hit in a hit and run accident; parked on a residential street. There was front end damage due to the fact that a 1995 Toyota 4 Runner was pushed on the grill and hood of my car. I took it to Sterling on June 29^th, where I met with Paula Villalobos and Fernando Jacobo. Both were very pleasant and helpful. They estimated it would take about 2 weeks or so to have the car restored back to it’s original look. As of today it has been just about that time frame they gave me; (not too bad considering they were closed on July 3^rd and July 4^th). Both Paula and Fernando have gone beyond my expectations of keeping me informed of the status of the repairs being done.
Despite a few of the negative reviews I have seen on here, my experience has been GREAT!!! I should be getting my car back later today or tomorrow morning. I’m sure the out come of the work done will be worth the wait.

I leased a 2015 5 series at Sterling BMW. When I was rear ended, I thought the obvious choice would be to take the car to Sterling Collision Center. My insurance company asked me to go to their recommended and approved collision centers but I insisted that my car be fixed here. That was a mistake. The repair was average and they did the absolute minimum and actually a little less than what was agreed. The gnats that were stuck to the front bumper when I brought the car in were still on the bumper when I picked it up and this was after they told me they had the car detailed. I was shocked that I received this type of service but a collision center authorized by BMW among other brands like Porsche, Bentley, etc. If you’re BMW or whatever car you cherish needs repair, trust me and pick another dealer recommendation to get your car fixed. This place doesn’t care.

Sterling was AWESOME! They are professional from ur 1^st visit till the last visit. This was my 1^st experience here with them and I only have great things to say! They update u on your vehicle through the process via email or phone!

Sterling Collision Center is the best body shop I have worked with to date.
I recently had a crazed hipster tag my passenger rear quarter panel while she was trying to secure my parking spot as I left the Harbor Justice Center’s lot during a weeks worth of Jury Duty (what a great week, right?). Fortunately my Insurer was able to subrogate her into oblivion allowing me to select the body shop of my choice on her Insurers dime. When I found that Bentley, Porsche, Audi and BMW all recommended service through this facility, I knew I found the right spot for my Infiniti.
The experience was about as painless as it it gets. I filled out a few forms, they submitted an estimate to State Farm who in return green lighted the work and within a week and a half my car was returned to me in pristine condition. The paint match was spot on, the panel’s fitment was true and everything was as solid as OEM. During the process the staff kept me up to date with progress reports via email. I can’t think of any easier way to go about body work, although I should disclose this was a first time experience for me.
As I mentioned, it did take over a week for the work to be completed which would be inconvenient if you do not have use of a rental in your Insurance plan or a secondary source of transport in the interim, but with the quality of work Sterling offers the trouble is well worth it.
Highly recommended in the unfortunate event you need the services of a Collision specialist.

Thank you for returning my BMW to me in beautiful condition.
My new hood is painted perfectly. The finishing and color match are spot on, along with the blending of the panels.
I truly appreciate that you were able and willing to also re-​do the work another shop had performed on the rear quarter panel while you replaced the hood.
The rear quarter panel is now flawless. The orange peel matches the rest of the car (which I recognize is difficult to replicate).
The industry professionals that have looked at your work say that it looks superb and it is beyond their expectation.
To those that criticize the amount of time that you spend repairing and painting vehicles, I would like to remind them that perfection takes time.
The shop that had initially repaired the rear quarter panel had the car for a week and their work resulted in sand scratches, fish eyes and a flat, dull panel on a brand new BMW.
While I hope that I do not see you soon, I am relieved to know where to go when I need you next… Sterling Collision Center.

I have a first-​gen Porsche Cayman. Yeah, it’s no turbo or GT3, but still something I love to drive and take care of. My driver’s side fender and door were damaged by a cyclist some time ago and my insurance said that Sterling was their recommended shop for high-​end sports and luxury vehicles. After working in the auto industry for many years you become skeptical of everything. Since insurance was covering a majority of the work. Of the shops my insurance recommended Sterling had the best reputation & reviews.
My initial estimate and review was with Christine. I have to give an 5 stars on customer service. She kept my insurance updated every step of the way. My car was ready one day late, but they were happy to wait until the following Monday.
The amount of work done covered the front bumper, front hood, front-​left quarter-​panel, left door, and left-​rear quarter panel. There was prior damage and touch-​ups all around that an almost 10-​year-​old car would need (rock chips, etc) so I had them do it all at once. Might as well, right? I’m glad I made the choice.
Now the paint all-​around looks like a 9.9 out of 10 and I couldn’t be happier. The best part was their attention to detail. So many things were given back «better than before».
— The inside left door-​handle was repaired: The cable had loosened causing the handle to ‘flop’ around.
— The cigarette lighter magically re-​appeared in the center-​console: Not sure if I even had one?
— The power-​window switches were popped back into place: They had previously been dislocated.
The only down-​side was the tint on the left-​side rear quarter window had been scratched. Christine was more than happy to have their window tint vendor repair/​replace the tint to make the job complete. I believe it’s complimentary to get a wash & detail when your car is serviced so not only does the damage get fixed but your car comes back clean, inside and out. Overall, ⁵⁄₅ and I would recommend this shop to anyone.
