With ingenuity and armed with his «know how» this dedicated man opened Lopez Automotive in 1996. He is the first member of his family to own a business in the US. Tony, who spoke little English when he came to the states all those years ago, has become proficient in English and enjoys serving both communities with his specialized knowledge of mechanical repair.

Tony Lopez came to America in 1981. He first spent 5 years as a farm worker. During slow times he hired out as a mechanic at auto dealerships, private garages and farm machinery outlets.
