Hmm, I guess they raised their prices because it costs $ 200 for a cleanup and reboot of an OS, but whatever. I now have peace of mind now that there’s not some sort of spyware collecting my personal information and taking over my identity. I’m a little paranoid; if you’ve seen ‘The Net’ with Sandra Bullock you know what I mean.
If you have computer problems, please stop going to the geek squad! You go there and wait forever just to talk to some dork with a tie, there’s a diagnostic fee on top of the services fee AND they take 2+ weeks to get the job done. Whack.
With ACR, they come and pick up and drop off your computer for free and it’s back to you all within a few days. My computer was picked up on Tuesday and returned Sunday. In addition to the Windows XP reboot, Greg installed Microsoft Office 2007 for free!
