I was ripped off twice on two different vacuums that operated very poorly. Despite the convenient location I would go elsewhere.

I went to Classy Chassis last night to wash my car. I used my debit card and I did not see the price. I assumed it would be about 6 dollars or so. I just swiped my card and the machine started. This morning I checked my bank account balance and I was alarmed to see that the cost of the car wash I purchased was 15BUCKS! I was VERY upset because I can go to Brown Bear and have it cleaned by a machine for half that price. I called Classy Chassis and spoke with NIKKI and explained that I felt like I was ripped off. I was very angry on the phone, verging on the point of being rude. Nikki quickly calmed me down and explained that a new system was installed and it can be confusing and if you don’t follow the directions exactly it will charge you 15 bucks for the max minutes. She apologized profusely and expertly calmed me down! Nikki’s customer service skills are without peer! She was amazing! SHESENTME10BUCKSOF A REFUNDOUTOFHEROWNPOCKET!!! Wow! No more Brown Bear for me. I am a Classy Chassis man for life! Thank you Nikki!!! You rocked it out of the park!!! :)

I prefer car wash services like this as opposed to a drive thru because I feel like I can focus on areas of my car that need a little more work. The machine to start the car wash takes cash, coins and I want to say a card of some sort. I tried my credit card and it didn’t work. I put $ 18 in their and was a little pissed that some of the functions did not apply to that unit. The pre soak, tire pressure spray and the air drying options did not work. I don’t know or see a difference in their sprays. I believe one of them is called a no streak rinse and the other is a clear coat. Looks like water. Water. What the what? No option for rain x either. The vacuums are not up to par with other locations. Feels like the time is cut short and the suction, to be frank, really sucks. All in all, I spent about $ 23. Which, realistically, I could have done at other places for half the cost. Boo.

I stopped by to wash my vehicle at this self-service auto wash. It was a convenient location. I planned to use cash, then when I ran out(after $ 8) with a soapy car, got my credit card out and discovered the machine in my wash bay was broken. It only had a plain black piece of tape over the place where you slide your card — no visible«Out of Order» sign was posted. I moved to the next bay after ensuring the credit card machine appeared to be working there. It would not take my card(«network error.») There is not an actual change machine on-site, only a machine to buy their car wash tokens. I did not want $ 20 in tokens. I had to lock my soapy car, walk to a nearby business and get change for my $ 20 dollar bill. I came back and put more cash in, and discovered that the brush wand in this bay leaked badly and all down my arm. I had to re-wash the car because of the soap that started to dry on it while getting change. I spent a total of $ 14 to do a quick wash on my car. I called the company and they wanted to know which machines were not working, and what day I was there. I am pleased to say that I was offered a refund for at least part of the wash to compensate for my experience there. The«3» rating I gave here would have been a «1» if they had not demonstrated an interest in good customer satisfaction. Lessons learned: Check all equipment and machines before you start a self-service car wash. Make sure you have lots of cash in case the credit card machine doesn’t work. Better yet, get a better wash by doing it at home, or pay a neighbor kid to do it.
