Went in got excellent service had my rabbits chew through my vacuum cord I use my vacuum 20 times a day it was very important to have it working they fixed it within 2 hours and called me back gave me excellent service a longer cord put a hose on it very affordable Richard gets a thumbs up in customer service

I came in with a broken vacuum where handle had broken off. The staff was so nice to me. They searched online to see if a replacement part was available, but they are no longer made… the technician took a second to look at it, and noticed that he could fix it by drilling two holes and screwing it on a different way, and he thought he could fix it. I let him try, and he came back so quickly and said no charge. I’ve purchased cleaners at this place before and they were always nice, but this was exceptional. He paid it forward. Great service!

I discovered Foothill Vacuum thanks to the great customer service people at Dyson. It was generally easy to find but I would suggest clearer signage to access the parking lot. I would have offered five stars for my first go but had one moment of panic so have alotted four stars instead. The issue with my machine was discovered and corrected in about an hour, which was fantastic! While what was causing the Dyson to stop working properly was not covered by my warranty, the cost was very inexpensive.
That said, when I informed the clerk at drop-​off that my machine was covered under warranty, she indicated that it could take 4 – 6 weeks for repair because of what seemed to be haggling on the part of the store and Dyson. She saw the shocked look on my face and confirmed the time frame with her co-​worker. I am a fan of supporting local business and wanted to give them the benefit of doubt on it, since I knew the machine was in running order and there was no way it could take that long.
You can imagine my relief when the call came to inform me that all was well. I imagine I will use them again as I do have a rug cleaner that could use some attention … updaates if and when they occur!

We had a bad experience at this place and will not return again. We dropped off a vacuum for repair and were told $ 45 and one week to repair, clean and grease the vacuum. We were given half of a claim ticket. Went back the requested week later-​plus an extra day and were told that they couldn’t find the vacuum. The man working said that my father in laws name (who dropped it off with me) was very common and he couldn’t find it. When they finally did locate it we were told that the work had not been done. Horrible service! If you knew you weren’t going to have it done let people know.

I have been coming to this location for years. It is on the corner from where I live so very convenient. I purchased a small dyson a few years ago and it does get clogged from time to time and Foothill Vacuum services it often. Always doing an adequate job however lately it I noticed the cleaner hasn’t been picking up much of anything ={ even after I had got it services.
I took it in about 3 weeks ago and they told me it needed a new front rotary part… I wished we would have found out the problem sooner as it is expensive (but worth the money) for servicing. Today I got it and it is doing the JOB! OMG! I’m so glad to have it back it inspired me to clean the entire house from top to bottom!
Thank you Foothill Vacuum for giving my day off a purpose ;)

I took my Dyson in for servicing and was told I would need to wait for 7 business days for the work to be done. I called on the day they had promised it and was nonchalantly told it would be another 3 days. The way I was treated was disregarding and the business practice of this establishment is unacceptable. I won’t go there again.

I brought my Electrolux canister (15 years old) for their «rehab» service. when I picked it up it looked brand new and the tech gave me soem priceless advice to keep my machine running. Ill probably have 15 more years and as long a Foothill Vacuum is around, it may last 30 more years! PS I also bought some great cleaning supplies for wood furniture and floors and some enzymatic liquid to clean up after the doggies… works and smells great! Carry on FV!

This is a great company. The customer service is excellent and they really know their vacuum cleaners. I inquired regarding several vacuums and what really impressed me is that they never tried to force the most expensive model on us. I told them how much I could spend and they gave me the prices and also pros and cons of each one. Also they are so informative in cleaning supplies and helpful. We had a skunk visit our front yard and sprayed. The order was all over my patio furniture. I couldn’t afford to purchase new furniture. Plus it was so close to the door that it got inside out home. They saved me so much money by giving me helpful advice and within three days after following their instructions the front patio and inside of the house is squeaky clean and smells great. Thanks Rick for all your advice and also to the young man who sold me my dirt devil Jaguar. I know it is not a Dyson but it vacuums great!

Rented a 10 gallon carpet cleaner and made a few purchases. They offer superior service and knowledge and carry a wide variety of items needed to clean your home. I plan to come back very soon and get my Dyson vacuum serviced.

I was referred here by Bissell’s warranty service… Quite surprised to see the variety of products available. They did were prompt and did a great job with the repair

I have an older vacuum that I use for my business and it works like new; however, I didn’t know how to change the old school bag, and I couldn’t even find the bag for it!
This business had the exact bag I needed and gave my new business some tender lovin’ care by servicing my vacuum and teaching me how to change the bag on it! I love customer service!

I am not exactly impressed with their service. I was referred by Dyson to Foothill Vacuum & Janitorial. I was given another location for repair but it was too far and I chose this place over the other one.
My Dyson DC25 multifloor’s kickstand mechanism was broken, and since I never used my 5 year warranty, I decided to take it in for a repair. When I took my vacuum for a repair, I was reassured by one of the workers that the warranty will cover everything. However they asked me whether I want to have the Dyson cleaned for $ 68.50. I had no problem with paying that extra money to have it cleaned. Also I asked if there was anything else that needs to be repaired and the guy working there said that I should have my cleaning head completely replaced.
The estimated date given to me for the work to be completed was January 26, 2014. The actual date when I was given a call for pick up was today, January 28, 2014. I was happy that it was pretty damn close for the estimated time for the repair, and I don’t have to wait longer for it to be done. I am happy for that.
Today, when I went to pick up the vacuum I asked the lady that was helping me whether I can test out the Dyson vacuum that was ready for me. She plugged in the vacuum for me, and I was excited to try it out. I pushed on the power button and pushed the lever with my foot for the kickstand mechanism, it was this very reason, I brought the Dyson in this store for repair. I had trouble putting it into the down position it supposed to be in after I pushed the lever.
The lady that was working there forcibly put it in a down position, making it look like it actually works. (It’s probably because she is used to handling Dyson vacuums, and know how to forcibly put it in that position even though it is broken.) So when I went home and tried it for myself, I could not get the Dyson to get into the down position no matter how many times I tried. I have to literally bend down and use my hands for it to be in a down position.
I am happy that they thoroughly cleaned the machine, and replaced the cleaning head just like they said they will replace for free. However I am not happy that they did not fix the kickstand mechanism like they promised to. For the guaranteed manufacture 5 year warranty and the extra $ 68.50 I paid for cleaning, I expect more.

I own a Dyson DC07 that I’ve had for about 10 years. The handle finally gave out & would not stay in the upright position. I started to look up a new Dyson but after seeing the prices I made a last ditch effort to save my old trusty Dyson. I have driven by this place so many times. So I thought let’s see what they can do.
For under $ 80 they fixed the handle, serviced and cleaned it and it is like brand new. I am so happy I didn’t have to buy a new vacuum. I love my Dyson and if I were to ever buy another vacuum it would be a Dyson. Thankfully for this place I don’t have to.

Called to see if they had my vacuum bag. Phone was answered quickly and the lady was very polite. Went in and purchased my product easily and quickly.
Staff was very polite and efficient. Will definitely return!

Rick was awesome. Knew everything there was to know about the new Rikkar American Made Vacuum I bought. He is a young owner and really hands on in the business, buying here is employing your neighbors and the product IS superior. He was also helpful in working within my price range.

i have been going to foothill vacuum for YEARS and am here to say that they have my full five star rating! it’s a family owned business; andy evans couldn’t be more friendly, his son-​in-​law rick is SO helpful. i don’t know everyone’s name but you couldn’t find better customer service (one time i brought my puppy in there and they gave her a rubber vacuum belt… still her favorite chew toy lol). their evco products are top-​notch as well. i don’t have carpet anymore, but when i did, «folex» always did the trick when we had a spot to clean. highly recommend… and they really stand behind their machines! (their motto is. «our business sucks… but it’s picking up!» haha)
