Kid’s Galore

To all my amazing Kids Galore customers, I just wanted to let you know that Kids Galore at 172 D St. upland CA 91 786 is closed as of December 1. My 11 years in business softened me and helped me open myself to Gods will, although painful at times, I grew in my relationship with God and I was touched by some of the most beautifully real people ever!!! As of right now I do not have a new location, please keep an eye out for me, if I can find a place I will reopen. Keep an eye out for my Kids Galore Facebook for updates.
One word I would like to share that I learned… COMMUNITY…

I visited Kids Galore looking for maternity jeans. The owner was so kind and helpful in navigating the stacks of clothing and pulling out jeans in my size. Most of the clothes are older and not necessarily trendy, but the owner did manage to find me a pair of Joe’s Jeans that fit perfectly! Score! I bought 3 pairs of jeans (the Joe’s, a pair from Old Navy and small-​name brand) for about $ 10 each– a steal compared to what maternity pants cost at the big brand stores.
The owner did say that due to rent going up, she may either move the store or close up shop… Hope it doesn’t happen!

Just went in to this store and found some great items! A few pieces of clothing, a vetch light up interactive toy and a boppy shopping cart cover. The owner is super helpful and so sweet! There is a lot to choose from and prices are good for the quality of the items. The other reviews say it’s crowded because of the merchandise while this is true, I’ll take it because the selection is great!

Sherri is so super nice — I have seen her knee deep in a pile of baby clothes to help someone find what they were looking for — it is a SMALL store with lots of stuff but my kids LOVE it bc they have a ‘playroom’ in the back and the kids can play with TONS of toys and no one gets mad and Sherri always tells them she’ll clean it up later for them. SO SWEET. If you spend (like I do) quite a bit of $ everytime you go in she will give you a few dollars off for every $ 25 you spend — for me? That’s like a free shirt! YAY! WIN! I buy jeans (as my sons somehow seem to tear theirs to shreds on a weekly basis), dresses for my daughter (she’s in 6^th grade, she has ‘preferences’ on brands and clothes now) and for friends kids! She even has a MATERNITY clothes section — I mean, why spend so much $ on clothes you’ll only wear the last few months of pregnancy?!

I fell in love! Great prices, a ton of items: infants, toddlers, and school age, why buy new when kids just grow so fast. To bad she doesn’t sell adult clothes, haha. Anyways, I had been to all of the thrift stores in and around the area to find my niece a pair of cheap shoes, yet still cute (her feet smell bad, lol). I was on Unilocal and I found this store and a rush of excitement went through me, I LOVE these type of stores, even though I have no kids of my own, I love shopping for them, lol. If you are a serious thrifter then this is the store for you. I’m a very firm believer in helping out the mom and pop shops, the Goodwills and Salvation Army’s are over-​priced and over-​rated.
Shari, the owner, is a sweet and very down-​to-​earth lady, I will be continuing to shop here forever. :D
NOTE: If you’re not a fan of unique-​craziness, then this is not the shop for you, I am warning you now! Because like I said, Shari is a great lady that is trying to run a unique business, don’t ruin if with bad comments and negativity.

Sherri the store owner is very cool and helpful. I stop by here first before I go and buy anything else, You get a good price and its good for the environment. Why spend 20 bucks on a pair of galoshes that they will only use once and then out grow when you can get them for 8 bucks and trade them back to the store? Kids out grow things so quickly it just makes sense. Sherri only buys items that are in good condition and she doesn’t mind searching for what you need. :)

Crappy place! The lady (I assume the owner) was on the phone talking about her date and ignored me the whole time. She was super rude and messy not to mention the place was super unorganized! THIS PLACE IS EMPTY FOR A REASON… NEVER AGAIN YUCK.

Massive amounts of items to choose from. Far better than I expected, walking in.

This place has a ton of baby equipment and clothes. Before you buy brand new and spend all your hard earned money at Babies R Us give Kids Galore a call. The owner is really nice, helpful and knows her inventory very well. She provides fair prices and there is usually a pretty good selection. The store is small and is filled with a ton of stuff, so don’t let that overwhelm you. Did I mention she also has a selection of maternity clothes? Check it out.

I’ve been coming to the store over the past 10 years and I found all sorts of great stuff. The owner is super sweet and she has tons of cool stuff in every nook and cranny of the store. It is a small store with tons of stuff so be prepared to go on a treasure hunt. Gently used items at really good prices. Everything from baby equipment & clothes to clothes for 12 or 13 year olds. Oh and sometimes they run a $ 5 off every $ 25 clothing purchase.
