History

Established in 2011.

The owner James Watts has always had a love for cars. As a teenager he would clean his parents, neighbors and friends cars. Later he began to detail cars on the weekend to generate income. In 2004 he purchased a trailer and mounted his detailing equipment so that he could go to his weekend customers. During this time he maintained a full-​time job and detailed on the weekend. In 2011 he attended a detailing certification program own and operated by Kevin Farrell, who helped develop the detailing program for BMW North America. Thus was born Ultimate Performance Detailing.
