We were staying at the Hampton Inn on Mason in Vacaville and were looking for a place to walk every morning. I found this place on the internet. It said it had ball field(3), a football field, and a running/walking track. It is in the vicinity of Peabody and California. And it is used by a good number of people. Every morning, there must have been 10 to 25 people using the track. All the facilities seemed to be in real good shape. There is plenty of parking and restrooms available. It also seemed safe; unlike the park that the hotel recommended. It you need to get some exercise and don’t mind using an oval track — — give it a try. It will probably work for you. Enjoy.

A city park with a nice, well-maintained, safe running track?! I am so there! I am extremely grateful to the City of Vacaville for creating this community resource, which not only has a lighted track but also baseball diamonds and soccer fields for community games. This park is new, large, and a dream for kids and adults alike. It also has really nice, clean bathrooms. While I’m primarily a gym-goer for my exercise, I enjoy coming to this track on a nice day as a way of mixing up my workout a bit.

This is a really cool new park with a running track. I came here when I was taking Vacaville’s Adventure Boot Camp. If they didn’t have us come here, I would never have known about the track. The park also has a few softball fields and a football field in the middle of the running track. It’s a really nice park.
