First Command Financial Planning

I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences with First Command. They aggressively push their whole life insurance packages, and they make it extremely difficult to terminate your policies. The issue is mainly because they pawn off their services to other companies like Midland National Life Insurance Company. I finally reached a point where I wanted to end all associations with First Command, so I terminated automated payments. This is when I finally heard from Midland National. I then requested that all my accounts be closed. Some were, others weren’t. For some accounts, they just created loans against the insurance money I had accrued, which means they took money from my account to pay to maintain the account after I requested they close the account. First Command is definitely the middleman you don’t want involved in your financial future!
