Poor customer service! Ridiculous management. Stood on the counter for 5 minutes after stating I was picking up an order to only be ignored by the manager right in front of me. No politeness whatsoever. Literally threw receipts at me after an acknowledgement and almost spilled over the Coke I ordered. Didn’t even say thanks or offered any condiments. For sure Won’t be coming here again. Not sure how Mr. Javier got a management position, it should really be reconsidered. Customer service fail 100%.

6÷1÷161pm one of the worst service I’ve ever received. Pretty dead inside… Would understand if it was busy but it wasn’t at all. First server messed up our order, when we managed to get one of their attention she gave attitude, upon fixing the issue, excuses were made due to her craving. Then the 2 servers were talking for 15 minutes, ignoring all customer needs. When new customers walked in, we try getting their attention to ask for a refill on water and their«unlimited fries» but she ignores us. And when we finally get her attention, she says you guys can pay at the counter. We managed to ask for our refills and her response give me a few minutes with attitude as if we’re not supposed get attended to. We just decided to leave, overall one of the worst service ever received at this Johnny Rockets. Go to another location, don’t go to the Valencia Johnny Rockets because we always had over and above service at any other location.

My family and I went for lunch there on Saturday and we had the best experience ever! The new chicken avocado sandwich was so good! Gilda was our server and she said was just amazing! I’ve been coming here for a while now and I’m so excited that they finally got avocado on the menu.

My review isn’t so much about the food, which was up to the usual standards… but about the service, which was far from any normal standard. There were two ladies working the floor, Danielle(not our server), and Gilda(our server), who, according to her name tag, is the general manager. Gilda was perfectly fine at the beginning. She came right to the table as soon as we seated ourselves, and our order was placed within moments. It was after that that the wheels began to wobble… My son ordered a shake. As we watched, the shake was made, placed on a counter, ready to be served… only to sit there while Gilda had a conversation with Danielle at the register. From what I could see, it wasn’t a business conversation, but a personal… not okay. Wheel #1. The shake eventually made to the table a good three minutes after being completed… which is not okay at all. If she’d been busy with other customers, it would never have been an issue. She wasn’t, though… Then the food came. I ordered chicken strips, and my son ordered a burger. His mom got a salad. She was the only one to get the right food placed in front of her. Wheel #2. That was the last time we saw her at the table until we were done eating, and my son got up to go to Rocket Fizz to pick up movie candy. Then she came by, asked if we waned refills on our drinks, and had to be reminded of what I’d been drinking. At no point were we offered more french fries, which are bottomless, according to the menu, and I would have liked a great deal. Wheel #3. When she came with my drink, the check showed as well. No offer of dessert was made. Wheel #4. We left cash in the folder, and made our way out the door. At no point did she acknowledge our departure, or wish us any sort of farewell greeting. Vehicle hits the tree, explodes on contact. I’m not saying I’ll never go back. The food is really good, and surprisingly reasonable, price-wise. What I am saying is, maybe a re-evaluation of senior management and the duties thereof is required. If the GM can’t provide adequate service, then perhaps the GM should not be serving tables, and should focus on things more appropriate for a GM position…

This place has a fun and vibrant ambiance as well as a classic diner vibe. It’s great for children’s birthday parties because of the laidback diner theme. They also have a working juke box where kids will enjoy putting in coins to play a songs of their choice. Not to mention the adorable paper hats you get to wear and take home. The employees also dim the lights and sing you a Happy Birthday song at the end of the meal. The milkshakes here are delicious, very creamy, almost as if you’re drinking milky, rich ice cream. They have many classic as well as more sophisticated flavors, but I usually go for the vanilla. I like the presentation where they put the milkshake in a huge metal cup and also give you a glass of milkshake, which feels authentic to me. The burgers have a nice flavor but the buns tend to become too soggy, which I don’t like. Overall, the food isn’t too special, but the ambiance is worth it.

My Mom and I came down here to eat and she had never had it and it had been a while for me. It was really good and we will definitely be back! The atmosphere is so awesome and the food was delicious. You do wait a little longer for the food but I don’t mind that at all because that means that it is made to order and that they are actually cooking your food instead of microwaving it like some places. I highly recommend this place.

This review is for the terrible/lack of service we received Sunday 3÷20÷16 evening, around 7:30pm. My husband and I used to come to this location on a monthly basis. It’s been a few months since we’ve eaten here and frankly we are unlikely to return. The restaurant was not very busy, but it seemed there might have only been a couple of servers. The young lady serving the tables saw us, passed our table several times, gave the bill to the table next to us, yet after 15 minutes of waiting, she never once acknowledged us. She even brought menus to a family that sat down right next to our booth long after we arrived. Again, not once acknowledging us. I waited for her to come near us to flag her down for some menus, but she never looked our way. At this point, we were so disappointed and frustrated we ended up leaving and going to Red Robin. Out of all the times we’ve been to this Johnny Rockets, we’ve never had such a bad experience. In other recent visits, I’ve noticed the service has not been what it used to be, but this was just ridiculous. This server(young caucasian girl with very short hair) should really be retrained. This place is going to lose more business because of bad service and with so many new restaurants opening in the area, no restaurant can afford that. I hope management reads all these negative experiences people put on here(there seem to be a lot) and takes them seriously. Please counsel your staff. For them it might be a part time job getting them through school, but it might be someone else’s livelihood. It would be a shame to see yet another business close.

Just came in to this location with my boyfriend. The restaurant was practically empty and there was a Hispanic server and cook. They looked at us and I could tell they didn’t want to serve us. I had to walk all the way up to her to ask where I can sit. She said we could sit anywhere, so we chose a table near the kitchen. She than asked us to sit somewhere else, even after she just said we could sit anywhere! We grabbed our own menus and sat further from them. After several minutes we were long ready to order. The waitress just kept looking at us while whispering to the cook and laughing. The final strike was when she seated and personally handed menus to the group of people who came in behind us. Highly unprofessional attitude! So, instead of paying for a meal with a server who discriminates against people for absolutely no reason, we just walked out and took our business elsewhere. HORRIBLESTAFF!

Very poor service. 3 workers were just sitting in the corner laughing and talking as I’m waiting a good 10 minutes for them to even look around and see if anyone needs help. Not happy.

I have to start out with saying, what actually happened to Johnny Rockets? The place where you could go before/after your movie, for cheap food, good service, and their infamous smiley face ketchup plates. I used to come here all the time throughout the several years, but it seems that I will no longer be returning with this last visit in mind. As I was sitting there with my family, this random(older) man walked up to me asking if I would like a refill. I chuckled and rejected the refill only to find out it was the owner of the restaurant who was wearing a Raiders jersey and some blue jeans. Of course I rejected the refill, since the man looked like some random guy that didn’t work there. Wear a uniform or some sort of Johnny Rockets merch! The waitress was kind until you asked for some ranch, a fork, or a spoon. Once we asked her for the essential items we weren’t provided with as in silverware and napkins, she became very rude. I wish I had her name because she said my requests were absolutely ridiculous, and she was tired of «walking back and forth». All I did was kindly ask for an extra fork. I waited, and waited, as she passed me 4 times. I finally said that I asked for the fork, four times already. She came in return saying that she didn’t want to serve cold food to the other table. So she’s entailing that not grabbing something as extremely simple as a fork makes other people’s food cold in the 20 minutes I waited? OK. Needless to say she became verbally rude, and gave several dirty looks. I rejected her service furthermore, grabbed the check, tipped her $ 0.36 cents rounding to the nearest dollar, and told her she’ll never see me again when she told me to have a good day. Best of all, I was one table out of 4. She was only«waiting» on 2 of those four. What was the big deal? Maybe I caught her on a bad day? I believe in treating those how you wish to be treated, and that was not the case. I treated her with great kindness regarding the inner frustration I had, and that’s all I could have done. I went next door to Salt Creek and got a real meal. Quality of the food is not great considering what you’re paying. They flatten the meat(pound it), which is one of the worst things you can do to meat. It was bland, tasteless, and $ 11 bucks I’ll never forgive myself for paying, and I’m no cheap ass.

Nothing against all Johnny Rockets’ but this particular spot was one of my worst burger experiences ever. A patty that tasted bland with no consistency. It was literally falling apart after every bite! My fries and onion rings were ok though, the reason for the 2 star rating rather then one. My wife had a similar experience on a separate occasion. Not very clean either.

Excellent service from Rachel and Kendra. Helped us out even after store hours. Service was quick and efficient. Clean and friendly environment. Delicious food and well priced. PS they take the 25 score card. Customer service is on point.

Nothing to write home about. Hadn’t been here for quite a while, now I remember why. The waiter was very nice, he was just inept. The food — the fries were good but we got the Original burger that came on a huge bun that was cold. Not the burger, just the bun. I’ll come back in another 10 years — if they’re still here.

The only reason I am rating this a 2 out of 5 stars is because the food was great, can’t complain about that. But the customer service was horrible. I wasn’t satisfied with it at all. So I brought my best friend here for her birthday since she’s never been here. We get there and it’s not that busy and sit ourselves. One waitress comes and takes our orders for drinks. A good 15 minutes passes by and our drinks still haven’t been brought to us while we see our waitress around the restaurant.(keep in mind this is a Friday night and surprisingly it was not that busy). So a different waitress comes and ask us if we’ve been helped and we say no so we order our drinks AGAIN and ordered our food at the same time. Within minutes the waitress brings ONE glass of water and tells us that the cups are dirty so it’ll be a while before we receive our other glass of water. So our food comes and we still don’t have our second water. We start eating and after 10 minutes she brings us our bill. WESTILLDONTHAVEOURWATER! So our entire meal my best friend and I are very thirsty because neither of us wanted to drink the only glass of water because that meant that the other wouldn’t have a drink. This is my second time here. My first time was very well but this time I wasn’t satisfied at all. Not too sure if I would come here again after this second experience at Johnny Rockets.

Our food was wonderful and the gal that waited on us was very sweet and friendly. We will definitely be back. My son was excited to go there and his milkshake looked fabulous and tasted even better he says. I’m a bit confused about the 3 star rating because this was a 5 star visit.

Not cool. Came in to eat with fam for dinner on a Friday night. Granted, I get that it’s busy on a Fri. This dude, cleans our table and gets us menus. After waiting 15 mins, another group came and sat down behind us(group of white folks). We finally flagged down this white girl(I hate to play the race factor here, but it’s most likely bcuz of it). At first she ignored us, but she could definitely hear us loud and clear saying excuse me. She turns around and in a condescending manner says, «Someone’s coming to take your order» and quickly walks away. A few minutes later, that same girl approaches the table behind us and gets their order… My fam & I were appalled by this — we immediately got up and walked out of the restaurant. Everyone in there saw. I know that same girl also saw us walk up and leave, so I’m glad she did. She needs to work on being a better person in life is what it is. It’s 2015, yet too bad certain humans can’t get pass someone’s skin color. Can’t believe she was even hired if that’s how she treats ethnic people! Shows what kind of service/staff runs this place. Never setting a foot in here again.

I like Johnny Rockets. It’s a bit gimmicky, but I think that’s what I like. The burgers are tasty and affordable, and include a salad or fries. You can get a shake or a Cherry Coke and make like you’re at an old soda fountain. There are the mini-jukeboxes at the tables, and selections(which now include music that I grew up with in the ‘80s) are a nickel. This location doesn’t have the madhouse vibe that it used to, and getting a table is pretty easy midday. If you are going to a movie after, consider their $ 8.50 discounted ticket combos.

I really like this place. I dont know why I dont come more often. They make an excellent, quality burger. There is a large variety of burgers to choose from and every time I’ve come, I really enjoy the one that I get. It’s a cool, All-American themed burger joint. They have jukeboxes at every table, but apparently they don’t work anymore. I discovered that 10 cents later. =(Sadly, it’s just not cost effective to repair them, according to a staff member. We had excellent service. Cassie was very attentive, friendly, patient. It’s too bad about all the other negative reviews about the service. I can totally believe them though because when we were there, it seemed like Cassie was the only one working. Everyone else was huddled around each other like there was a water cooler there. So props to her because she was awesome! The other awesome part is their milkshakes. They have so many specialty shakes to choose from. I ordered the Butterfinger shake even though I was stuffed from the burger & fries but I was not disappointed. You know I finished it all! Papa Bear loves me some shakes. If you go, try to sit in Cassie’s section. You’ll thank me for it. I was sad to hear from another employee that they might be closing because they just don’t do a lot of business anymore and Westfield wants them out. They have been there so long and they are very involved in the community. I hope they stay so I can continue to enjoy their burgers and shakes!
