Nancys Ranch

So disappointed with my tree I bought from you this year. People were friendly. Gave the tree a fresh cut. Had it shaken out and so on. We have watered this tree everyday but unfortunately it is dry as a bone! Never had this problem with trees from Greenthumb. I won’t be getting my tree here again in the future.
Had to take it down the day after Christmas. Usually keep my tree up until January 2^nd. Not happy at all!

Great prices! Got 4 pumpkins for $ 13. They also have lots of gourds and squash. My little one had so much fun roaming the grounds and going through the rows of pumpkins. There is plenty of parking in front.

Totally awesome experience, the staff at the ranch was very helpful. We were greeted cheerfully as we came in and when we asked where we could find the tree size we wanted, the young man who was helping us brought us right to the place we needed to be. We picked out an amazing tree. Nancy was at dinner, yet all the staff was all on the ball.

We just cut our Christmas tree down for a 3^rd year in a row. We love having the experience of choosing our own tree, cutting it down, and then taking it home to decorate. The staff at Nancy’s Ranch are very friendly and we plan on coming back year after year! This truly enhances the holiday experience.

The trees looked great and the service was friendly! Will be coming back next year for my tree!

I buy our pumpkins and Christmas tree at Nancy’s every year. The service is consistently great, Nancy is very «hands on» and always on hand for questions or to give advice. She educated me a few years ago on the difference between a regular and a «pie» pumpkin! All these years I was making pies with the incorrect pumpkin! Nancy’s is a bit out of the way for us, we are on the other end of Valencia and there is a tree farm right behind our neighborhood, but the staff is no where near as knowledgeable or friendly. Worth the trip, plenty of parking, easy to get in and out, trees are clearly tagged so there is no guesswork on the prices, all around great experience.

I tried this place a few years ago. I bought a tree in December to find out in January that my debit card was double charged. Luckily my bank trusted enough that I did not buy two Christmas trees. Then the following year I returned with cash. I picked a tree from the section labeled a certain price/​size only to find out at check out that it was substantially more. Twice I was swindled at this place. Beware!

Every year we do our Christmas Breakfast for homeless children, and every year Nancy donates trees to help us with this charitable cause. She is always gracious kind and the lot is fantastic.

This is the time of year that I start looking forward to going to Nancy’s Ranch to get my fall/​Halloween pumpkins, with the able assistance of Granddaughter Cassidy. I’ve gone to Nancy’s for my Christmas trees for many years and always had a good experience. Product, service, price — all good.

We drove to Valencia to go cut down our own tree. Excited even. But lo and behold… they only had some random type of pine to cut down, which wasn’t ideal for the fiancé. But they did have a huge selection of other trees at all kinds of sizes. We ended up getting some good pictures and finding the perfect one, even got the price knocked down.
The staff was helpful, yet sparse, and the lot was very nice and organized. I would come here again if it weren’t in Valencia…
PS… Our wreath and tree was health ALL month long…

My family and I came to this lot and were completely ignored by the staff until we found a tree ourselves. Once we found the tree we had to find and employee and beg them to assist us; which he eventually did… breaking all of the limbs on one side of the tree in the process (which we did not find until we got it home); I assume the smell of marijuana was not cologne.
The next day we found that we had been charged twice, and a call to the lot resulted in a promise that the charge would be removed. A glitch with the credit processing system resulted in it not being reported, so I went down and they did it again.
When the double reversal appeared on my credit card, I called Nancy, and told her that I would come in and pay for the tree; instead of being pleased that I was honest, her reply was «I told you this would happen». So, upon arrival that night, I advised the employee working the register that I was there to pay. Another employee working with her advised that no one comes back to pay, and because I was so honest; the tree was free. I asked them to make sure Nancy was aware that I came back, and they said they would… right…
So, a couple days later Nancy called me and accused me of stealing… really??? So I told her what happened, and that I would come in again and pay. She did not care about the inconvenience, the damaged product, the frustration, and frankly the humiliation… only her 100.00 bucks. So, she will get that, this rating, but nothing further from me my neighbors or my co-workers…I now advocate fake trees…

A nice array of various fresh trees. I was happy about our noble 7 – 8 footer, although I do believe they are a tad over-​priced ($ 80 and extra $ 2 for netting, which you kinda need), as tree lots typically are. A cool thing is that you can choose and cut down your own tree (although it is not noble or the usual douglas fur), a different type of pine though. We also picked up a fresh wreath. A nice little experience, I just have a little something against against tree lot prices, but business is business. I’m cool with Lowe’s and Home Depot for the tree, but I guess there is something about going through an Xmas tree lot.

Can you give no stars?
It takes a lot for me to write a review and it’s usually because I’ve either received horrible service or because something tasted awful.
Obviously I got horrible service here.
My family comes every year and pick out a pretty Fraser fir Tree. We love the service here and while the prices aren’t the best, we want to support a small business this time of year. I’m about to take my business to Home Depot next year unless I get over this experience.
Let me just give the facts. We picked out a ⁶⁄₇ foot tree. We stood there waiting for someone to come help us. Two workers came by and measured the tree. They said it was tagged incorrectly and it’s a ⁷⁄₈. I asked if they would honor the ⁶⁄₇ since it was tagged that and was right next to another one that said ⁶⁄₇. Was told to speak to Nancy. I asked if there was any way she could honor the price on the tag.
And this is what pissed me off.
Here is what Nancy said to me:
«you can’t tell how big the tree is yourself?»
«look you just stand next to it and you can tell»
«this is a ⁶⁄₇ foot tree»
«this tree is 7 feet»
«oh wait it’s 8 feet»
«you can’t take this tree for the ⁶⁄₇ foot price»
«you’re trying to eat into my profits»
«it’s my mistake but you still have to pay the 8 foot price»
She must be a miracle grower or a brouhaha cuz she made that tree grow a whole foot in literally two seconds.
If it wasn’t for the fact that getting this Christmas tree brings an amazing smile to my husband’s face I would have been mapping out the closest Home Depot.
This lady had no sense of customer service even though she was wrong and even admitted it.
I wish I could leave 10 stars for all the young men they have working there who so carefully and nicely wrap the tree and tie it to your car. Thy are always the best. Today was no exception.

Just got an awesome x-​mas tree here. We cut it ourselves and there was a wheelbarrow to get it to the front of the lot. They were super helpful in getting it on our car. Great experience, hope to go back next year!
