I’ve had two haircuts with Ashtyn — both were great! I felt like she really took her time and really cared about her work.
The last two times I went, I booked appointments with Chelsea. First time was for balayage — it took her less than an hour to do (which is fine — I just expected it to be a longer process), and I liked the result. A few weeks later, I came back for a hair cut. While I only asked for a trim (and touch up for my layers), I was in and out in 30 minutes. I’m not against a quick haircut, but I felt like she really rushed me and did not care about what she doing to my hair. It looked fine after she blow-​dried and styled it, but it did not look fine after I washed and brushed my hair out. The layers were so obviously choppy, and I had to go to a different salon to get it fixed. Seriously a waste of my money! I realized this second time around that I was just being rushed both times. I don’t usually write reviews but this really was not a pleasant experience, and I doubt I’ll be back.

Finding this salon was like finding a treasure! Chelsea is over the top with her professionalism and unparalleled expertise. I have long hair and have had too many experiences at other salons trying to communicate the cut and color I want that has turned out totally different. Chelsea listens, catches the vision, and executes it with absolute perfection. I have never sat in the chair of a stylist with more talent and skill. Her eye for detail is such an asset. I look forward to seeing her and am always amazed by the results she gets. I bring in a messy mop of hair, and she transforms it! I would never consider going anywhere else and am so thankful for Chelsea and this salon. I would give Chelsea ten stars if I could and highly recommend her with zero reservation and great enthusiasm to any and everyone!

This is a 2008 prom throwback review post, I had done my hair and makeup with their stylists and was super happy with how the results turned out. I have a huge fear of hot items near my head, I had been accidentally burned many times as a small child by older siblings playing with my hair. The stylist was super attentive and careful to reassure my fears and anxiety. When she was done curling my hair she was a Bobby pin magician! She made my hair do things I never thought possible, and she never gouged my scalp with the tips and she hid all of the pins so expertly. The makeup artist was super intuitive to the look I wanted too. I brought a couple pictures in and we picked out details from each to pull together a look I loved! The combination of the end results were amazing. I don’t typically get dressed up, and I didn’t have the best confidence because I was horribly teased and bullied for years in school. I felt like I still looked recognizable, but that all my best features were truly being showcased, and I have never felt so pretty or special in my life. I want to feel that way everyday.

Colleen was amazing! I kept having the worst experiences with hair dressers where they kept turning my hair a reddish brown and not covering up my (increasing amounts of grey)! I was so frustrated and tired of seeing the bills grow every time! I had almost given up, but I had a video event coming up so I knew I had to do something.
I went to see Colleen, and she took care of everything like a pro!!! She was quick and the results were amazing! The grey was gone, the brown was not red, and she threw in a couple of highlights so it blended into my hair. I was in and out in less than 1.5 hours and it was affordable. I was so impressed!!! Thank you Colleen!

I’ve been here a few times to get my haircut but came here for just a blow out. It was before a special day so I just wanted to look nice however I left the salon with my hair puffy, frizzy, and not «blown out» AT ALL. Had to go home and style my hair myself which completely ruined the whole point of going to a salon. What a WASTE of money and I am not returning.

I have been going to see Robin for more years than I care to mention. She is super talented. I always get so many compliments on my hair cut and style. Robin is very friendly accommodating if I need to change the appointment time or day. Try Robin you will not be disappointed.

Thank you Annabel !! For making my first hair color experience wonderful she is super patient and understood my nervousness. She got my hair looking exactly what I had imagined it to be. She worked with me through her busy schedule on Saturday and made sure I walk out of there happy. I would blindly trust her with my hair and sending Annabel virtual hugs ヾ(＠ー＠)ノ

Updating my five star review to a ten star review! Karen and Kristy did my hair and my bridal party’s hair and makeup for my recent wedding and we were more than impressed with their work. Everyone looked gorgeous and we got multiple compliments throughout the evening. It was a warmer day, too, and everything stayed put. GO SEE THESE GIRLS FOR EVERYTHING!

Barbara Arruda is a real gem. I’ve had the pleasure of talking to her at length about her experience in the world of all things beauty and learned that she used to own her own salon, so she knows every facet of making you look and feel beautiful.
She knows facials. She will personalize your facial to your needs. Do you need moisture — she’s got you covered. Do you need blemishes expelled — she’s on top of that. Are you over 50 and want to soften the signs of aging — Barb’s your gal. And if de-​stressing is your goal — tell her and she’ll allow time for the massage.
And that’s just her approach to facials. She will also wax any-​and-​everything you could possibly want free of unwanted hair. Brow. Upper lip. Peach fuzz. Chest. Back. Bikini and Brazilian.
Do you have a special event, prom, competition, show, awards dinner? Barb can do your makeup. She’s even done on-​set movie makeup. Bring photos of what you want and Barb will work with your vision, to turn you into a vision!
None of this would matter if she were a pill. However I promise you she is funny, smart, kind, honest and generous of spirit! You’ll feel like she’s the best version of a sister, when you meet her!

Barbara does a fantastic facial and beautiful wax job. She is very up to date on current products and produces. She remembers me each time I see her and is very sweet. She is my go-​to!

Super disappointed with the results of my last (and therefore last visit) appointment. Been going here since Jan. Highlights and cut. I think my stylist was hurrying to go out for. Friday night date. Got charged for a full weave but she put in about five foils. She used to do a glaze after highlights. That stopped suddenly. I think she got lazy or thought I’d just keep coming back. I’ll have to get my hair highlighted again in a week or so. I take time off work to go there — cost me too much out of pocket and loosing time working. Disappointed. Expect a stronger work ethic. You’re customers are always right and paying attention so don’t charge them for work you didn’t do.

I had my hair cut by Shelby today. I love it and her. Such a sweet gal who really knows what she’s doing. She is my new go to girl! The salon was nice and the ladies at the front desk were very friendly and efficient! Thank you all for a great experience!

What a class act all the way.
The receptionist are welcoming and friendly and polite. When you call in to make an appointment they book it and then call you a day in advance to remind you of your appointment. That’s some smart business. The salon in clean, bright and buzzing with energy. I go to Dana for a very nice hair cut. She’s mastered my picky requests and I’ve been there for years. This is the most professional and well ran shop I’ve ever been to. No barber shops for me. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Laura is the best… hands down. I’ve been around the block a time or two with stylists in the Santa Clarita Valley and I know when I find a good one. My only hope is that she doesn’t move away or retire… like all the others.
The last girl I wrote a raving review on wound up not being as good as I thought and I learned that you can’t really tell if a stylist is a good match for you until you see them a few times. I am on my third weave with Laura and wanted to make sure she was as good as I thought she was before I wrote this review. Turns out she’s great. She takes the time to get to know YOU and your style, and asks plenty of questions. She’s been doing this for many years and knows her stuff. The plus, she’s really cool. Only thing, she’s a little pricy but not the worst. I’d say she’s worth it.

I am very picky with my eyebrows and Liz does a great job! :) She keeps them nice and full, and you can easily book an appointment with her online.

I have been looking for a local salon and found this gem. It’s hidden upstairs above Stonefire grill.
They have late hours and a cozy layout.
Ask for Ashtyn, tell her I sent you and you will get a discount!

Shelby is so sweet and does a great job. I have wild curly hair, and she manages it well! I’ve also gotten a spray tan from one of the gals there, while she was very friendly, I was very worried about it being uneven. Well, after 8 hours, I took a quick shower, and yes it was uneven. So I came back and a different girl helped me out by spraying over my back again. Overall, it was a good experience, I’m just glad I got the tan done the day before my trip in the a. m, it gave me enough time to come back to get it fixed.

I usually go to my friend in Burbank to get my hair done, but sometimes it’s just easier to go somewhere 5 minutes from home.
Anyway, I found this place on Unilocal.I made my appointment on their website (which is super convenient, by the way). I just picked someone that was available on the day and time I needed, which was Anabel.
Since then, I’ve had Anabel cut my hair twice and I’ve loved it! Definitely recommend coming here.

After reading the reviews on Unilocal and needing a quick fix for my bushy hair, I came here and had someone random appointed to me-​Cassi. It was funny because while I was seated waiting for her, I saw a stylist and wished that would be Cassi because she was the most stylish, gorgeous woman ever. That ended up being Cassi!
She was very sweet from the start and understanding about the condition of my hair-​which was not okay with normal beauty standards. I have a tendency to randomly cut my own split ends and trim my own bangs and recently-​even my sideburns-​which are making them grow out horrifically. My last three haircuts done from a salon were done in a blunt, long layer fashion, so that I had no hair layers. I was finally ready to have layers in my hair, and Cassi cut them in a great way. Luckily it was quick, because I had to rush off to another appointment.
One lamentable note-​I had wanted my hair brown-​dark brown-​so that it was obviously brown, not black. We dyed it and it turned out-​black. Absolutely black. I don’t know if I can blame her, however, since the hair dyes don’t lie (I don’t think she would have purposely chosen black hair dye) and my hair is pretty fine/​thin to begin with. When I go back, I will probably ask for a lighter brown to get the dark brown that I want.
Anyways, Cassi is amazing and I most definitely recommend that you try her, especially if you’re an Americanized Korean like I am and want a change from your typical Korean hair salons.
Also-​I gave her a huge tip but it was weird how they added it to the total bill instead; I sincerely hope that she walked away with the tip and not the store owner!
