Window XChange

I wanted to add a window to the house were one didn’t exist. They did a great job and were on time and on budget.

Selecting a right window installer is challenging especially for supposedly an extreme weather season like El Nino. The price quote and scope of work is so different from one company to another. That’s one of reasons that we have been putting off replacing leaky windows for a while. Then, we finally found Window XChange, and this company didn’t disappoint me.
I highly recommend Window XChange because of the following reasons:
1 — Prompt response and punctual timing for appointment
2 — They understand what needs to be done to repair/​replace windows.
3 — Very reasonable price and a clear list of works to be performed
4 — In case of additional work, they are not like «Got Ya! Give me more money!» But they are very helpful and honest about the additional cost.
5 — Workmanship. Workmanship. Workmanship. What’s the point of a good price if the work is lousy, right? Their quality of installation was excellent. His stucco guy was amazing. He exactly matched the new stucco texture to a 19 year old house.

I was pleasantly surprised with this group of guys. Not only did Mason NOT give me the hard sell, he was very honest about the products. This Company has shown outstanding workmanship. Very professional and on time. I am in the processing of installing windows for the whole house and will continue to use them. Since the owner is a general contractor i will definitely be inquiring about other home improvement projects. Very refreshing to find a Company you can trust.

These guys are great. I have used them to replace almost all of the windows of my house over the last 4 years. All of the windows look great and I haven’t had any issues. On a couple of occasions they have went the extra mile, are very friendly, and give great advice. I have a few more windows/​sliders left that need to be replaced and without a doubt I will be using them in the future.

These guys are honest, professional, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. Mason did a great job providing an estimate in a very timely matter. He was always available to clarify anything and got back to me right away.
The owner, Kent, was phenomenal. He knows all the ins-​and-​out of constructing and fixing a house by providing great advice on our 1920’s newly purchased home. We ended up using his expertise and other vendors to remodel our house over a three month period. He communicates extremely well to ensure I was always satisfied and things were clear. My friends and family were shocked to hear their great prices and how everything got done on time while using high quality material and labor.
Brandon and his team, installed all the windows and even added crown moulding, a designed a beautiful wainscot in my dining room. He works extremely fast and does a great job.

The Window XChange did a wonderful job on our windows. Mason, the sales person/​coordinator for the project, were very knowledgeable about windows and suggested the best ones for us — not the most expensive, but the most practical. He was also very easy to contact when we had questions. The install team were courteous and efficient. They started and finished the job on time. I was referred to Window Xchange by a friend who had used to them to replace windows in their 70’s era cabin. I didn’t know if they would service my area (Oak Park, CA) since they are located in Valencia. Kent replied to my email immediately, and refered me to Mason, one of his reps. We scheuduled an appt for measuring, and Mason showed up at the scheduled time (uh, if you have had to wait for service people to show up, you know why that in and of it self is impressive!). He listened to my reasons for wanting to replace our 5, original townhouse windows. (1983 era, aluminum, single pane sliders). In particular, we wanted to improve the level of noise control. My husband works from home, so outside noise is always a concern, beit our neighbor’s loud children, delivery trucks, and occassional high school activities from the nearby school. He showed us our options, brought actual windows, and sample color swatches for us to choose the finish. We decided on the Milgard Tuscany Series with laminated glass for the maximum sound control. Mason told us our order would be in within 2 – 3 weeks. It came in 2 weeks later and we scheduled for installation a few days later. I asked that the installers call on their way over to my house, which they did. Brandon and David arrived on time, and immediately got to work, laying down tarps to keep the mess at a minimum. They had to make some onsite modifications to the frames in order for them to fit properly due to the heavy stucco surrounding them. They also removed our blinds, and rehung them better than they had been in the first place! In less than 3 hours, we had 5 brand new windows. We can not believe the difference they made! Within minutes, we noticed how dead quiet it was inside! Additionally, the windows don’t shake when someone closes the front door, or a truck drives by. This was money well spent, and we kept asking ourselves why we hadn’t done it sooner. I highly recommend Window Xchange as they exceeded my expectations on all levels from timeliness, follow-​through, communication, quality product and great customer service.

I called several companies for a quote. By far, this was the best one. From start to finish, they were extremely professional. Mason came right away to do a quote. He is very knowledgeable and did not pressure me at all. His quote was also very reasonable (i.e., not overpriced like other companies who were quoting me for the same exact window). He keeps you updated at all times and makes the whole experience extremely pleasant. Brandon was the installer today. He did a great job! I’m very happy that I went with Windows Xchange. I will definitely go with them again and refer them to everyone. We recently moved here and have dealt with many contractors for the remodel of our home. Found windows xchange on Unilocal when my husband and I were shopping around for windows. Mason was our sales rep and he was very professional and not the typical pushy salesperson at all. He gave us a great quote so we decided to have them replace all the windows in our house. The Unilocal reviews are right on point with these guys. The two installers were great, friendly and also very professional. Above all of that they did an amazing job! I highly recommend this business to anyone in the market for windows. You will not be disappointed.

Window XChange is great! I would use them again in a heartbeat. I worked with Mason and Kent (owner). They’re very professional, patient, and the window installation went smooth. I kept changing my mind on the style, number of windows, etc. that I wanted replaced, and they were very patient with all my changes. The windows look GREAT and I have received compliments on them, as well as compliments from my other contractor of their professionalism. They even came all the way out to Pasadena to complete my job. I didn’t have a huge job (10 windows or so), but they still treated me like a good customer. Double thumbs up! =)

I called and inquired about a replacement window. Mason came to the house and measured and showed me options. He never pressured me to buy something I did not need. I had a price in my head on how much it should be and Mason quoted me that price. I was very happy that he was not over pricing a window. I live next to a freeway so the noise level was high. Mason offered to add a thicker pane to help with the noise. The day they installed went so well! I cannot hear the freeway now with the new window!
I would highly recommend Window Xchange for any future window replacement. Their prices are reasonable and the installation was great. They are a family run business which I like. I made the mistake of using Home Depot for a patio sliding door. Should have used Window Xchange!
