A-1 Collision Repair

Just a little update from my last review. I needed to get some other things done to my hardtop. There were two rubber pieces that required insertion in the front of the hardtop. Each piece needed to be glued in the front of the jeep to prevent wind noise when driving on the freeway I called the guys at A1 and without hesitation they told me to bring my Jeep in. These guys charged me nothing to do the job. These guys are nuclear supersonic fantastic! !!!

These guys are AWESOME!!! My vehicle was side swiped outside my home at night and the damage was substantial. I called Steve the manager and with greatest attitude told me to bring it in. I showed and he looked at it and said no problem. Quick turn around and did I mention the owner Kevin is the main shop guy. Anytime an owner is in his own business working is a plus for me. They had my vehicle up and running in no time. For anyone’s needs for body work these guys are where you go be at. Thank you again Steve and Kevin for getting my ride all fixed up.

Used them before and the only body shop I trust. Employees are friendly and if you have an issue I’m sure they can resolve it. Fast free estimates and knowledgeable staff. The poor review that is on this site is unfortunate because i am glad that this shop realized the extent of damages my vehicle went through and saved me from having a repaired hazard when mine was declared a total loss. Sorry Justine went to a shop that just wanted to profit from the repair and didn’t care about her well being. I send everybody here and they couldnt be happier either

My family has been using A-​1 for over 10 years now… and we won’t go anywhere else. The first time we had a fender bender and they bent over backwards for us. Since then I have referred my brother, sister, mom, dad, aunt and a few friends and they have been very happy with the results every time.
The quality of work is flawless and the service that I have received every time I’ve been there has been 5 stars. Kevin and Steve have become friends to my family and we sometimes stop by just to say hi if we’re in the area.

I brought my car here for an estimate. First, I called in to ask if I needed to schedule an appointment to get an estimate. The guy I spoke to was the manager, he was really nice and explained that walk-​ins are accepted. I asked how long it usually takes because I was going on my lunch break. He said it varies from 10 – 30 mins. So I take my car there and talk to the guy I was on the phone with. I’m not quite sure if he just finished his lunch or if he had mood swings because he sounded and acted different in person. He was very sarcastic and it got annoying. Just looking at my car, he already assumed it was going to be a total loss if I filed a claim with my insurance. So I asked him if he can just give me an estimate and I will think about what would be best for me to do. While he was doing the estimate, he kept making comments that the damage on my car was more than the value of my car.
It took him about an hour to complete the estimate. Will NOT refer anyone to this body shop. Took my car to R & D Bodyworx in Fairfield instead and my vehicle wasn’t considered a total loss.
