Make sure to ask what he’s going to charge before even stepping in store. Walked in shop to get laptop checked, and without giving me a quote or anything for diagnostics he began checking my laptop. After 5 minutes of diagnostic he said I need to do simple software update and wanted $ 100 for a window 10 upgrade which was free online. He ended up charging me $ 40 for stupid 5 minute diagnostics. Went home and upgraded to window 10 for free and it solved the issue with my laptop. Part of me feels stupid for getting my laptop checked for a simple issue, but the guy is an actual scam for charging me $ 40 without telling me the price upfront before he started working on my laptop. 99% of most computer repair shops do FREE diagnostics and only charge if they find something major/​wrong. This guy charged ridiculous amount for no reason.

I brought in my computer to be fixed and the key board and he fixed in only an hour and I was a unexpected customers. He was really helpful and since I was a student he helped me out a lot and I was on a budget

I’ve taken my 3 (older model macs) lap tops for repair within the last year to Bassem whom I found to be such a honest man. At one point he said, «there’s nothing I can do to fix this and it would not be worth it to try». Bassen is one of the most patient person I’ve met while he explains to me like I’m a five year old so I can understand computer lingo. I would refer anyone to Bassem without hesitation. Thank you Bassem for all you do in your gentle and kind manner.

My Macbook Pro wasn’t turning on for some odd reason. The sleep indicator was still flashing so I knew it was still working. I took it to Bassem as a walk in service request. He stopped what he was doing, and helped trouble shoot the issue. He got it up and running and cleaned my fans and internals which most likely was the cause of my mac heating up. At the end he suggested I look into my video card as Apple might have a recall. 2 thumbs up for Bassem.

Came in this afternoon. Owner was busy fixing another computer of a costumer ahead of me. Didn’t even bother to look up. So I basically stood a few feet away from him for about 4 minutes and when another customer came in, he immediately talked to that customer and when they were done, went back to fixing the computer of the customer who was ahead of me. At that point, I was kind of upset because he didn’t even acknowledge that I was in his shop and took care of a customer who came in AFTER me. As I was leaving, he finally looked up and asked me if he could help me, at that point, I had enough and just left. I read the reviews of other people and even though he sounds like a genius who can fix anything, he is terrible with customer service. Won’t be coming back.

My iPhone 5 has been in the worst shape for months and I’ve been putting it off in getting it fixed. My phone fell out of my pocket and of course the screen was cracked but I’m still able to use it. Then it got progressively worse from there on and some pieces of the screen has fallen and gone. Then housing of the screen started lifting up. Had no clue that the battery will be an issue too. So, when I finally brought my phone to Bassem thats when i found out that besides the screen being replaced I had to replace the battery as well because it has swelled up which pushed up the screen as well. I came there about two hours before closing time. There was one other person before me so I told him I’ll just come back before he closes and he said that will be perfect and when I came back 20 minutes before closing time my phone was done and felt like a new phone again. I had to pay for the battery replacement as well so i wasn’t shocked by what i had to pay for. I highly recommend him and he is a really nice guy and very laid back and accomodating.

I regret not writing this review sooner. You know how that goes. It is one of those things you have been meaning to do but…
Bassem is an honest, hard-​working family man. True, his shop is old school with no fancy chairs or lights or seemingly any tidy organization – cords, computer parts and such are scattered all around – I am sure there is an order to all of the chaos, however.
I came in here earlier this year thinking I needed to replace/​reseal the glass on my iPhone since it was lifting up so much the light from the screen was visible all around the perimeter of the phone. I found out through Bassem, the quiet, gentle, generous owner, that it was my battery that was PUFFING UP LIKE A BALLOON (see pics) underneath pushing the glass up! Whoa! He, in a matter of minutes, and while engaging in pleasant friendly conversation, simply replaced the old puffy battery with a brand new slim one and charged me all of $ 20. That’s it! He said all cell phone batteries do this. I had no idea! It seemed like a considerable safety hazard to me since eventually the batteries corrode and EXPLODE. WHAT?! I am sure no cell phone companies want to acknowledge this, so be forewarned, people! Also any other repair shop would have charged me a fortune to lift and forcefully reseal my glass rather than fix the actual problem with the battery. Thanks Bassem! You are a true gem of a guy! It warms my heart when fathers brag (albeit very modestly, but with much joy and pride) about their kids. Bassem very warmly, and sweetly shared a video of his child scoring an awesome goal on the soccer field. It is clear this man is capable, highly intelligent, honest and does everything for his family. Why would you go to any other guy for your repair needs than THIS guy?

On Friday, my daughter buckled my grandson into his car seat, but she left his iPad on the car roof. This didn’t become known until she was on the freeway and tapped the brakes.
The iPad flew across two lanes and pieces of the iPad and protective otterBox case went flying everywhere. The California Highway Patrol was called and they found it. To our surprise when she went to their offices to pick it up the glass was shattered but it was actually working !
On Saturday I called around everywhere to try to get the glass fixed, and I found this place. Said he was closing in an hour but I could drop it off, as he had some other orders ahead of me, when I told him my three-​year-​old grandson was crying nonstop, he said bring it in right away and I’ll stay and I’ll fix it for you.
Once he got it apart and took out the broken glass he found that one of the corners was dented and had to be fixed with pliers before the new glass would fit.
Well I’m standing there waiting for the glue to set. Another older lady and her husband come in, obviously not computer literate, with an iPad problem. It’s the original iPad and it won’t come on. He could take them to the cleaners. Instead he asked him a bunch of questions, figures out that it just needs to be reset, does that for them and shows them how to do it themselves if they ever have to reset it again. They want to pay him but he refuses and tells them to «bring it back when they have a real problem».
Just wanted to charge me the regular price of $ 99 to fix the iPad glass.
Offered him a tip and he wouldn’t take it, had to had to offer it three times and force him before he would take the tip.
Classy and trustworthy guy, Bassem is, with integrity and honesty to a fault, would definitely take my stuff to him if it ever breaks again.
PS — hard to find, pretend you’re standing in front of Applebee’s restaurant and look across the street, you can see his shop from there, on the back side of the mall.
PSS — don’t be put off by the 2 bad reviews, the guy and his store are weird and even dumpy looking and the customers that came in while I was there were weirder still.
He is one of those old school engineer guys, who look dumb and awkward, but can fix anything.
Notice he gave back $ 80 of the $ 99 bucks he charged the first girl who gave the first bad rating.
The second bad rating — the girl never used his service, she just didn’t like the look of him or the store and left. I laughed because I totally believe her and can see that happening, His store definitely looks like the opposite of the Apple Store in Walnut Creek that’s for sure.
WARNING — If you like to shop at Neiman Marcus, this store and this guy will freak you out.
But if you want to guy who will save your ass and save your data when you think your iPad or computer just died … and will stay late after closing time and do it all for a fair price, then this is the place and this is the guy for you.

Haven’t been able to find a local iPhone repair location closer than the mall in Fairfield. We go through iPhone screens like most people go through clothes.
Bassem was referred to me by a friend who had purchased one of my older shattered iPhones. Didn’t have to make an appointment; he was very kind; very quick, and professional.
Plus added bonus cheaper then the kiosk at the mall I’ve been using over the years, and hello right here in Vallejo! It was $ 89.00 for an iPhone 5S screen replacement and it was bent out of control so he had to take some time to bend the frame back in place.
Double added bonus … He’s a certified Mac Technician and can fix any MacBook/​Pc you bring in. I have a ton of old MacBooks I plan on having cleaned up and passed down to my son, so I won’t have to shell out thousands on a new MacBook! I’m so excited to have found someone who’s knowledgeable and honest! So many computer situations are like some mechanics where you take your car in for an oil change and everything in your car is suddenly broken. Couldn’t be happier!
Location is a little tricky though. If you’re leaving Gateway Plaza, and Chevy’s is on your immediate right and you’re staring across the street at Applebee’s, BEFORE you LEAVE the plaza; make your 1^st left after CVS!

I came here for two reasons. 1) it was close to my home vs. the nearest Apple Store which is in San Francisco or walnut creek. 2) it had a bunch of good reviews on Unilocal while best buy across the street had nothing but bad reviews. So this seemed like the logical choice. NOT! The store is a complete disaster computer dumping ground and absolutely unappealing to see when you walk in. This should have been the red flag but I chose to ignore it because of the good reviews. Some random chick walked in plopped herself on down on the customer side at a makeshift desk/​table plugged in her cell phone to charge and sat there silently crying. The owner sat across from her at the table and never acknowledged her or even looked at her. It was weird to say the least. Another random chick walks in and asks to use his microwave and joked about it would cost her a quarter. He proceeded to take my info and print a work order. He said it would be fine first thing the next morning. I came back late the next afternoon and he said the screen he replaced was faulty and he had another ordered for the next day. A phone call would have been appreciated so that I didn’t make the trek out there for nothing. My husband picks up my iPad the next day. It seems ok to him. I get home and try it and the button on top to lock it doesn’t work. Now I’m a little irritated because I have to go back down the the store yet again. I show him the issue and he looks at me with this blank stare and proceeds to push the damn button like a hundred times. I’m looking at him in disbelief and say to the guy, pushing it a bunch isn’t going to fix it. He seems dumbfounded and says it will be another 5 days before he can re-​fix what wasn’t even broken to begin with. I went in for a cracked screen and came out with a semi functioning ipad. The only good thing was he didn’t argue with me when I said he had no clue how to fix it and that I would prefer a refund so I could take it elsewhere. I told him the screen was replaced so I was not so horrible to demand all my money back, but maybe I should have. He gave me $ 80. I took it to a reputable shop and had to pay an additional $ 140 to once again replace the screen because the screen he used was a cheap knock off after market screen and not fully compatible with apple products and that was why it was apparently not working. So he was charging me full price and using sub par parts and not genuine Apple parts. He had so many good reviews for computers but he has no clue about iPads and therefor should not pretend he knows how to fix them. Consumer beware!

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received and greatly enjoyed working with Bassem. He has so much integrity and truly wants to be helpful. I figured my computer was ruined after liquid damage. While it was bad, Bassem was confident he could fix it. I felt the price was fair, considering I expected to lose all of my data and would need to buy an entirely new MacBook Pro and he brought it back to life. My laptop was running a bit slow so he offered to help update my computer at no additional charge. So grateful for this service. It’s always a scary thing when you think you might lose everything on your computer! Couldn’t recommend Computer Corner higher! Thank you.

Got my iPhone 5 screen fixed in under 30 minutes! Came in a little after closing and the man was kind enough to fit me in. Very nice man, I highly recommend going here. Good service, affordable– start a conversation or two! I came out a very happy customer.

Very affordable and reasonable. My PC wouldn’t boot up and Bassem got it to work in about 10 min tested my hard drive in case I would have to back up any files and all for $ 40.00.

Came here after spilling a bit of liquid on my Macbook. –_​_​–
I went to the Apple Store and they told me that I should either get a new one, or spend $ 800 to fix it.
I took it to Bassem (the owner) here at Computers Corner, and he gave me a much fairer assessment and more detail about what parts of my Macbook had been affected by the liquid spill (luckily, only the keyboard!). He was friendly, efficient, and very helpful. I highly recommend bringing your Macbook here if you have any issues, as the price will be more reasonable and you will get a much, much clearer idea of what issue is affecting your Macbook.

So one night my laptop decided it would be a great idea to drink a cup of water… well, it wasn’t, and it shorted out and wouldn’t turn back on.
I went out and bought a new MacBook Pro so we could use the old laptop as a nice paper weight.
We wanted to at least get all the data off the laptop so I called three places that were Mac certified: Computer Corner in Vallejo, a place in SF, and a place in Concord.
Computer Corner: Said they would take a look for free to see if all the data was salvageable.
The other places were going to charge some initial fee for looking at the laptop so right off the back Computer Corner was a better bet.
When they called back I was more than happy to hear that the data was salvageable, but not only that, it was an easy fix and the laptop would be back in working order. On top of all that, the screen was slightly cracked and they said they could package that into the price and fix everything.
Their price was so cheap that I literally called back a few days later to make sure i was charged the right amount. I felt a little guilty if I would have ripped them off because it’s a local business and not a big box store, but, with some confusion in their voice, they said that it was the correct amount they charged me.
All in all i feel my karma is in line because I know the cost was correct, but mind is blown because it was incredibly reasonable and I was able to return the new laptop I purchased.
These guys are completely worth your time and you may be surprised at the outcome. They have a lot of integrity within a business where most of their customers probably don’t have a clue what needs to be done.

The owner is THE BEST! He’s fixed several of my laptop issues over the last few years. My laptop crashed the day before a BIG presentation. Well, he fixed the problem SAME DAY!!! I highly recommend Computer Corner!

he fixed my Toughbook space bar tab in about 10 min and charged me $ 10.
said he could have charged me the full $ 30 min posted fee.

I called Computers Corner before their store hours indicated that they were open. Bassem was so kind as he listened to my panic as I tried to explain my MacBook Pro’s issues. I bought it in that morning and he reassured me that I didn’t have to buy a new computer.; that my issues could be taken care of… and they were. He kept it for 2 days and I got it back yesterday running smoothly and so much faster than it had been.
I highly recommend anyone with a computer problem to take their computer to Computers Corner. His prices are very fair and he is a thoughtful owner. He works with P.C.‘s and he is also an authorized Apple diagnostician and repair provider.
