Specialties
At State of the Art Chiropractic we believe everyone deserves a high level of health and wellness in their lives. We specialize in upper cervical correction.
State of the Art corrects upper cervical misalignments using the Blair Chiropractic Method. As supplemental work, activator instrument adjustments, muscle rehabilitation, nutritional advice and trigger-point work are utilized.
Most people experience misalignment without ever knowing it. It is easy to disturb the integrity of a joint space, and the continued use of that joint in daily activities will eventually cause a problem.
These health problems will grow worse until the misalignment (bottleneck) is corrected and effective brain to body communication is restored. Re-establishing that 2-way communication is the hallmark of a chiropractor, in general, and our office, in particular.
We practice from our home, allowing us to provide flexible hours for our patients to make an appointment.
History
Established in 1992.
Owners, Dr. Dorrin and Dr. Bob have been in Vallejo since 1999. They are a married couple: Dorrin Rosenfeld and Robert M. Woolery. Dr. Dorrin and Dr. Bob started practice in Southern California, but Bob was working in the construction trade (his previous occupation). He came up to Vallejo on a job and loved it so much, he insisted they move their home and the practice up here. Both doctors are severely head-injured and found the key to getting their lives back through chiropractic. They want to offer the same opportunity to others.

Bob was a pipe-fitter/welder before he got into chiropractic. Because of a car accident when he was 10 years old, he had low back pain and emotional disturbances periodically. He knew chiropractic helped, but in school he discovered just how much.
Dorrin was involved in 2 pedestrian vs. truck accidents. The hospital care allowed her to survive, and after the first incident, she met a chiropractor and then went to school to become one herself. After the second accident, the hospital fixed her broken bones and Bob took care of her until she healed.
