Craig was wonderful to work with! DJ Craig created the magical aura that we wanted for our wedding ceremony and a vibrant atmosphere for our guests at the reception and dance hours.
He promptly and comprehensively answered all of our questions at our first in person meeting, in our email conversations, and the final pre-​wedding run through meeting over the phone. He assured us that he knows how to work a crowd and he did! Most of our guests were shy and needed more of a push to get on the dance floor — DJ Craig himself got on to the dance floor and led the crowd through a couple group dances.
To be honest, I was skeptical at first because of how inexpensive DJ on a Dime (the name says it all!) is compared to many of the other productions in LA. His package was already more than generous and he even threw in some bonuses to help us out. Craig own genuine response made me a believer; he stated that he loves what he does and he loves to put up more shows if that means he needs to be more affordable. I think his own words spoke accurately of what we got from Craig: sincere and quality DJ production!
His online comprehensive song request database really helped us picked out some music for the wedding. We had trouble brainstorming the songs we want for each segment of the wedding but Craig patiently and expertly walked us through each portion of the wedding and even offered to play various versions of songs over the phone so that we get a better feel for what we can expect on the wedding day.
There were minor hiccups through the night (i.e., officiant’s mic went in and out, and mic went out of battery during the toast, etc.) I bring these up because every wedding will inevitably run into some technical issues. However, DJ Craig never miss a beat and patch over the technical issues without a hitch. Back up microphones, spare speakers, he had it all. At one point, my now wife had actually forgot to put on her garter right before the garter toss. DJ Craig covered the entire episode smoothly with his music transitions. To this day, none of the guests we spoke to had even realize that there was any issues during the wedding reception. Everyone only remembered how much fun they had at the dance floor and how magical the ceremony was.

Booking a DJ for a wedding reception in LA can be incredibly daunting because there are so many options to choose from – and the price is often quite high. Craig from DJs on a Dime did an amazing job for a very reasonable price. We booked his services only a few weeks prior to our event but he was such a pro that things never felt rushed or frenzied. Craig communicated with us promptly over email and took the time to talk with us on the phone about our goals for the event and to help us strategize about how to select music that would please the wide range of tastes represented by our guests.
When we had to make a bunch of last minute changes to our event layout due to a freak summer thunderstorm, Craig handled everything seamlessly. The online song request system made it easy for us to suggest tracks for different parts of the evening, and Craig was able to hunt down several songs from independent artists that weren’t in the system. He fit those songs into the awesome playlist for the cocktail hour even though we had no idea how they would fit with the jazz and blues standards we’d also requested. When it came time to get everyone up dancing, Craig did a wonderful job reading the room and mixing things up to keep people engaged. He even got down on the dance floor with us to teach everyone a line dance – while a cousin’s toddler tried to run laps through his legs! If that doesn’t scream pro, I’m not sure what does.

Craig is such a talented and rad person, and we had the privilege of having him as our DJ for our wedding last July. He was super accommodating and made everything so easy for us, which was nice because everything about planning a wedding is crazy! Just take my word for it, he’s awesome and you’ll love him!

I didn’t know where to start when it was time to find a dj, but we were lucky that our photographer, Simply Perfect Images, recommended Dj Craig to us. He was so great! He was very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. He was super professional and easy to talk to. And the website is awesome! There’s super easy planning forms and playlists you can make. His prices are also very reasonable, and he really goes out of his way to make sure your event goes as perfect as possible. He even had his assistant, Weston, do an epic dance off with my now husband. And both of them got on the dance floor with us. It was awesome! And all of the music for our special moments were played perfectly. I could not have been more happy with this company and his services, like seriously, not a single complaint.

This guy did an amazing job at our wedding. He was especially helpful with the flow of events throughout the night. Music selection was awesome and he was able to get everyone to dance. I definitely recommend, this guy knows what hes doing.

Craig was absolutely AMAZING! He was sooo easy to work with and his online process for music was so easy. He also had such a variety to work with and whatever he didnt have he was able to get right there on the spot! I would reccomend him to anyone… we had him for our wedding at Knollwood Country Club in Granada Hills and he literally stole the show… AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!

Craig was an amazing DJ for our wedding! Throughout the entire process, Craig was super responsive, easy to work with, and really helped us configure the entire day. He helped us troubleshoot questions we had about the flow of the day and made us feel so comfortable going into our actual wedding day.
On the actual wedding day, everything was seamless. The music from one event to another (pre-​wedding, wedding, cocktail hour, reception, cake cutting, sparkler exit, etc.) was perfect. Everyone was dancing all night, and commented on how fantastic the music was! Both Craig and Weston helped make our day amazing. This was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

As a wedding coordinator, I deal with a lot of prideful and unfriendly vendors. They probably put on a good face for the bride, but are inconsiderate to venue staff and other vendors. Craig was the DJ at one of my weddings, and he was by far the best vendor I’ve worked with to date. He’s a teamplayer and his goal is for the whole event to run smoothly, not just focused on himself. I wish all the vendors I work with were so helpful and polite.

These guys were so amazing at my wedding on 12÷13÷14. I am so happy I picked them to DJ! Not only was Craig the DJ but he also acted as our master of ceremonies. I couldn’t have been happier with the way that he kept the flow going throughout the whole night. I got so many compliments from guests all night about how much fun they were having and how much they enjoyed the music and dancing. He also knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding march and other songs during the ceremony. I didn’t think I was specific enough and he knew exactly where I wanted the songs to start and stop. I was so surprised at how perfect and smoothly it all went.

We got the gold star treatment with Craig. We had a destination wedding in FL, where my groom’s family lives, and then back home for the reception for our LA friends.
One of the things I was really worried about was providing a video slideshow for our LA guests who did not attend the wedding. As a bride, there are a million and one details to keep track of. I really didn’t want the extra burden of figuring out how to put on the slideshow (meaning the logistics of it… the screen, audio, and visual). The venue said they had the proper equipment. During a walk through earlier in the week, it turns out they had none of the 3 pieces of equipment necessary to pull off the presentation. The screen got taken down. The speaker system was worthless and non-​operational. Even though I came with every type of audio and video cables, none of them was going to work with the existing equipment. With time running out, the added pressure of calling vendor after vendor to find a place that rents the equipment, was daunting.
In the meanwhile, I was interviewing DJ’s for the reception. By sheer chance, I told Craig my desire to run the video, and he said he had the necessary equipment! We did a walk through and he said he had the equipment that we needed.
Craig delivered! He showed up on-​time, is professional, and kept my guests entertained and moving. At one point, the dance floor was a little sparse, and he got on the floor himself to teach the guests a line dance. All good.
I would recommend Craig for your next event.

Extremely satisfied with the level of service and talent provided by our DJ weston of DJs on a dime. We worked closely with both Weston and Craig who were both very helpful with making sure our entertainment needs were met. You will not regret your decision to use them especially when other competitors are charging even double or more of what DJs on a dime offer. These guys do good work and they’re good people too. Couldn’t have asked for more.

This review is crazy over due! My apologies, Craig! Working with Craig and DJ’s on a Dime was so amazing. Craig DJ’ed my September 2012 wedding and he was such a pleasure to work with, from beginning to end. DJ’s on a Dime has an amazing database of music and they make it SO easy to request songs for your event. You can even make a Do Not Play list! Awesome. Craig was early and very prepared the day of our wedding. He made sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone was having a good time. He played a great mix of music and provided a playlist that completely matched our needs and taste. Everyone commented on what great music we had!

Craig was great! I had my cousin play a classic guitar for my ceremony and Craig hooked everything up so everyone could hear the music and also, mic’d up my husband so everyone could hear him too. These were details I hadn’t given much thought to and I was happy to not only have his guidance in the matter, but also that he took the didn’t need to ask about every detail, he just took care of the matter. Well done!

I have never met Craig, but came highly recommended by my sister for our parents’ 50^th Anniversary. Fabulous, amazing and so accommodating with last minute requests and program changes. He’s so approachable that, if we didn’t manage our guests, they would be requesting songs all night! What I really enjoyed about the event was Craig’s selection of music, it was very appropriate for the crowd and the event. He was also very engaging and kept the tempo upbeat throughout the whole event. Recommended highly and often.

We have worked with DJ’s on a Dime many times. I am a wedding planner and he does a great job! He is the chameleon of DJ’s. He has so much knowledge about music and really keeps the dance floor full all night. He is also very professional!

Craig was amazing! The communication leading up to our wedding was outstanding. I love the online system he has for tracking our songs and timeline. Craig was willing and able to accommodate everything we wanted to make our wedding unique to us. He has a HUGE selection of music and really knows how to read the crowd.
