Bland. Super cheap, but completely flavorless. Staff is nice but I doubt I’ll be back… Would rather spend money on pizza that tastes good.

I love this pizza ! It’s the only pizza I will eat, its cooked just right and doesn’t have a crazy amount of red sauce and its not salty at all. The pizza tastes on the healthier it’s not greasy at all the ingredients taste fresh, which I love because I do watch what I eat and I’m a picky eater overall. My little cousin is extremely picky she will noy eat any other pizza if its not from this place ! Loveeeee !

I work in the area so for lunch time I’m always looking for something good, close, and that won’t take too long. I don’t have to look very far, oros pizza is my spot !!! I met Juan there I’m not sure if he’s the owner or the chef there but either way he made my experience a good one. Not only did he make me the best Philly cheese steak made under 15 min(cooked perfectly by the way), he also gave me a little background on the restaurant and encouraged me to try the pastries . I had a guava cheese puff pastry and fell in love with them I bought ten to take back to my office . This is a restaurant that really cares for its customers :) I will be back very soon !

For a place that also calls itself a bakery, you would think they make their own pizza dough fresh every day. They don’t, they buy it already made. The dough is flavorless. Much like the sauce. And the cheese. The pepperoni has spice, but you can tell it’s not very good quality. The pizza as a whole was very«eh». It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good, it just was there… completely dull and without sabor. No love went into this pizza. The pastries also look like they were bought from Porto’s in Burbank. I mean, they look very very very much like they were bought from Porto’s… which makes me think: what do they really bake at this bakery? I ate two slices of the medium I ordered and threw away the rest, trust me, you’re not missing anything.

The place: Sherman Way & Balboa The time: a little more than 3 hours after Lunch. Wandering around after work to see what was good around the area I was working that day. I had the choice of either going to In & Out which I knew was going to be delicious anyway or «Oro’s Pizza» so my adventurous self went to this little pizza place in this plaza. I was reading the signs outside«Pizza by the slice» and they had a Chipotle chicken sandwich that I wanted to try. I walked in and saw some delicious looking pastries. I proceeded to check the place out and I was greeted by the one of the owners. I believe his name is Samuel. Great guy! I felt welcomed as soon as I came in. As well as welcomed by the aroma of the pastries. He aske what I wanted and I told him«a slice of pizza please» that slice of pizza took me back to when I was 5 years old. It reminds me of the way that Shakey’s pizza used to make their pizza. DAMN. So good it brought the inner child outta me lol. Lots of Pepperoni with a lot of cheese on there. You know like the kind that’s in cartoons where the cheese stretches from your plate to your mouth. Yeah, that kind. It’s safe to say that I did not leave there hungry lol. If you’re in the neighborhood go check this place out! Make sure you try one of the«Cheese puffs» those things are too damn good bruh. I could’ve had like 5 more, but I’ve gotta watch my figure. My round figure. :) Thank you Oro’s! My first experience was great and I will be back again!!!

I was craving an empanada, Unilocaled my way into this pizza spot that also identifies as a bakery. Called before hand to make sure they had the goods and they confirmed. Walked over and got my «empanada“‘which was huge and different, unlike any empanada I’ve ever seen. The taste was okay, tasted like a pizza, it had an excess amount of mozzarella cheese. Would I go there again, YES, but only for pizza. This place is not a jack of all trades.

The pizza: Average at the least. It’s just sort of… there. I ate it, I have leftovers, and I’ll probably eat those, but none of it blew me away with any sort of great flavor. The wings: Wow, they were reeeeeally bad. I’m used to greasy/generally sloppy wings, but these were unappetizing. They were soggy and just… more adjectives that I’ve already used to describe them. I really only ordered here because I wanted wings, and these failed on practically all levels of that. Overall, I can’t justify anything higher than two stars for average pizza, and some of the worst wings I’ve ever had.

Ok… staff was super friendly and attentive. Now that being said, food was pretty bad. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and two beef empanadas. .and i was very disappointed. Pizza was not hot but on the cooler side and the empanadas had no flavor. It came with two small containers of marinara sauce… and that was another disappointment. I’m looking for a good mom and pop pizza restaurant. .my search continues. …

This review is for their pizza slice combo and for their pastries. I stopped by there to try out as I haven’t before and it’s near one of the jobs I work at. I ordered their one topping slice, salad and a can of soda. The slice came in a triangle shaped box and it was rather disappointing. It just didn’t taste any better than some frozen pizzas or typical mall food pizza. If I were to try their pizza again, it would have to be the whole pie and not the slice. The salad was much better. It had fresh greens with a few olives, tomatoes, and cucumbers on it. After my meal, I ordered some pastries to go to bring back to the office. These pastries were winners in my book. I ordered some cheese puffs and a couple of strawberry turnovers or something like that. Prices for the pastries are very reasonable and worth the stop if you want to get pastries alone.

Amazing! We had the CLT and a calzone and both were delicious, fresh, and definitely worth the price! The people who work there are so nice and the food speaks for itself. They have a great lunch special and are very quick when you order online. This is my new favorite spot!

I was going up balboa when I realised that I had the caves for some pizza. I quickly made a left turn on the other side of in n out, parked and walked in side this new pizza joint. I ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni bell peppers, olives and mushrooms. First bite was a winner! The pizza was thin crisp and the ingredients were fresh. Hell Yes I recommend this pizza joint p. S. They were given samples of the coming soon cheese rolls and guava and cheese pastries Mmmmnmmmmnmn good.
