Precision Auto Clinic

Sent a request for an online quote, responded in minutes even though they are closed today. Reasonable quote but still more than I wanted (could) pay at the moment so decided to tackle the job myself. Joseph (the owner), without asking, gave me a couple tips to make sure I did the job right.
With service like that, I’m confident they’d have done a great job on my truck.

Tony is super nice and efficient! Just got my first smog check ever. It was quick, he took my car in right away and the service actually was five dollars less than I had anticipated! Will definitely come back here for future smog checks… also how convenient it’s only 1.5 miles from the dmv!

Expected nothing more than the best mechanics in town, wondering why my shift gear was going out of control and Joe figured it was a thread on the clutch cable. He fixed it in mere hours, I drove it home like a charm. Thanks Joe!

I found Joseph using Unilocal and going by high rated mechanics. He did a fantastic job on my wife’s BMW on multiple issues. He went above and beyond and cleaned up all the dirt and oil and the engine looked like I just got it from the dealer. 2 months have passed and car is running great! I will take it to Joseph more frequently and just recommended it for my brothers Volvo suv.

I needed my brakes and rotors done as well as an oil change but it’s tough to find a mechanic where you don’t feel like you’re being duped… But look no further, Joe at Precision Auto was fast, friendly, and fair. I will recommend him to friends and family.

I went in with a coolant leak. They found the leak same day gave me an estimate. These were not simple repairs but they rushed it and had it ready the next day. Prices were fair and the car has ran like a champ since. They replaced a couple different things that I didn’t k ow were wrong and that got rid of weird noises I was hearing but never thought much of. Great guys. I’ll go back for future repairs. I showed up here yesterday thinking it was a different Mechanic where I had an Appointment. The guy, who seemed like the owner, was swamped with other people’s cars, but still cut out 5 minutes to look at the used car I was about to buy. I didn’t even ask him to, but he picked out some really deep rust under the car and advised against buying it.
Thanks a ton for the good advise and being so cool to help me out like that. Probably saved me thousands I would have to pay down the road — GOOD LOOKIN OUT.

Just adding to other positive reviews. Joe is great mechanic and honest. I had two issues with my car and on both occasions, he was approachable, reasonable pricing, and not pressure you into the repair. Don’t hesitate and give him visit if your car needs something.

Joe is incredible. He actually drove by my house to get a signature he needed from me, because he knew my car was in the shop. He’s incredibly responsive, extremely helpful and communicative about everything we need to know. Precision Auto Clinic is as good as it gets, and easily one of the most trustworthy mechanic shops in the San Fernando Valley. I’ve taken 2 trucks to have work done by Joe & his team over the last year, and have walked away from all experiences extremely happy & extremely satisfied. Most recently I dropped off 2 trucks at his shop (old one that was being sold + the new one) and asked him to swap tires/​wheels, rear shocks & the exhaust systems. Joe and his team had the work done the following afternoon, and the price was absolutely fair & reasonable. Can’t say enough good things about these guys, especially since it’s so hard to find a good car mechanic in LA that doesn’t seem like they’re ripping you off. I’ve definitely found my new mechanic with Precision Auto, and plan to bring my truck (and future vehicles) here for as long as they’re around.
To summarize:
1.) Friendly staff — Joe & his team are great!
2.) Fair pricing — Both parts and labor are reasonable. No price gouging here!
3.) Great work — They know what they’re doing. Especially from a truck perspective (and with Joe personally owning a modded truck himself) I feel comfortable leaving my trucks in their hands, and never worry that their work is going to be anything less than top quality!

Joe is a great guy. Professional and fast service. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. Will be sending business their way.

Joe is the man! He hooked me up to fix my BMW 503i and now my car drives so smooth. He didn’t over price, which I know other companies would charge much more. I will definitely recommend this place.

Awesome service !!! I’m so happy with joe he’s such a nice honest guy! i got my oil changed and breaks done on my Honda a few days ago and it was not only super fast but great price also. Im definitely happy with the service and will be back for anything else i need done to my car (hopefully nothing anytime soon) but if i definitely will come back here :)

Honestly the best experience I’ve had at an auto shop. Great service, explains things in details, and most importantly! They don’t try to over sale you on things that you probably don’t need. Joe definitely knows what he’s doing and gave me the best deal I probably could’ve gotten in the valley for the work completed and quality!
My car is running smoother and couldn’t be any more happier!

They are straight up on telling you what is wrong with the car, but they overcharge on parts. They told me it would cost $ 160 for a crankshaft position sensor and I just ordered an OEM part for $ 65.They were charging me $ 114 or $ 140 (I don’t exactly remember the price he gave me) for a MAP sensor and I just ordered an OEM part for $ 95.Where the hell do they order their parts from? I ordered my parts from a dealership too.
