after countless times going to my Mazda dealership in alhambra to for my new certified car, the dealer was unable to find a the simple problems that were wrong with my car. even when it was certified and the repairs were free, i decided to save countless hours and days in which i have already wasted on the mazda dealership and come here to Rafi and Jon to have my car work done. i have known these gentlemen for over a year now and have bought a car from them, brought a car that they dont usually fix but fixed it as a friendly favor and even bought a car from them a while back. these are the only men i trust with my beloved car and the money i spent for the mazda repairs here was worth every cent and not one second did i have any doubt or have regrets. I LITERALLY HIGH recommend this place! he also sells used cars for real cheap! and yes they do have a lot of miles but im telling you, when Jon buys the car off the auction he checks EVERYTHING. the car that i have bought from RB Performance had 220,000~ miles on it and the only problem was a minor over engine heating in which they fixed for free! these cars are reliable, have clean titles and this is the place to go! thank you Rafi and Jon for always being a good friend and a honest mechanic! I owe you guys!

I was trying to look for a smaller mechanic given that I’ve had an unpleasant experience with getting maintenance from a dealership. I searched google and Unilocal to find great reviews for RB Performance so I thought I’d inquire first. I emailed them and Rafi was fairly prompt with his response and provided me with a quote as I request. I made the decision to take my car here for a car service and I was really happy with the service. It was with in an hour as Rafi said it would take and it was at a very affordable price. My engine light on. They said it is air sensor and need to replace. After fix I left 5 mins engine light on again. I wonder their ability. No wonder I pass by everyday from work they always have no single customer. Now I know why will never use them again.

this guy is the best in the valley and he is truly honest! Jeffy Lube guys screwed something up and the car ended up without oil. this guy checked the car, replaced the oil that was gone and told us nothing is wrong with the car they just didn’t put oil in it! he didn’t charge us a penny, he is really nice and courteous and takes care of everyone whether you are a returning customer or a new one. I’m going to take all our cars there from now on, its hard to find a trustworthy mechanic. on top of all that we just walked in because it was an emergency situation…

Raffi is GREAT! I had called him 3 months ago for a part for my car. He did have my part, although I dont live in the area. My boyfriend ended coming to LA so I called him to see if he had the part, he did not have not in stock, but he made it possible to make sure he would get that part for me before the end of the day. Sure enough he had the part ready for me by 4:30. Thank you Raffi. I will definitely be back for any other car parts

Needed a new catalytic converter after a bandit took mine. Called around and Rafi had the best deal. That’s not always the case but this guy is the real deal. He took his time and measured out the pipping and then welded it for about 15 minutes. Id definitely refer anyone i know to him. Thanks again RB performance!

I needed a new starter on my 2005 Honda Accord. They quoted me a fair price over the phone and told me they could do it while I waited. I immediately drove over the hill from Culver City and 2 hours later the job was done. What more could I ask for!!! These guys were great.

3 reasons to take your car to his shop. 1. They do great work in a very timely manner 2. Honesty; I could share a few examples but the bottom line is you’ll leave satisfied that you’ve paid the fair price. He’s never gonna gouge you. 3. If you’ve got a need for a smog check or atypical car situation he’s got a guy for the job. So if your need tune-​up, a check engine light check or need brakes, a catalytic converter etc. give Rafi a call, he’ll get you fixed up.

I bought my 98 Pointiac Sunfire from Rafi and John at RB Performance. I got it for a really great price with new tires and the engine cleaned. I couldn’t be happier! A couple of weeks later I started noticing the oil light coming on and off at random moments. I called Rafi and he checked it out. The oil sensor seemed to be failing so he offered to fix it for about half the price because I had recently bought the car from him. That’s how great their service is. 100% honest and reliable. I wish I had the means to tip them generously because they’re just that good!

This place is amazing! My first visit was when my car was shaking violently & my tire was shredding apart. Thinking something was horribly wrong I was nervous. Rafi helped me & politely informed me that all this was due to never getting my tires rotated! He installed new tire, did an alignment, & also fixed a tire that had a bad patch job by previous mechanic, all for a very reasonable fee! Rafi was not only very knowledgable, but he is an honest good guy. Never suggesting more then your car really needs & he let’s you know what repairs can wait & what needs done asap. This is vital when funds are tight! His honesty & integrity is hard to find in a mechanic!
I just called for a quote on a hybrid oil change, & those can be expensive… his price beat out all other mechanics I called, by a long shot!
I have now found my permanent mechanic that I can trust AND save money going to! I have already referred Rafi & RB Performance & will continue doing so!

Rafi is amazing! I am 24 years old and I know I’m the number one target to get screwed in the car repair business. I read the reviews on here and went to see Rafi based on his Unilocal reviews and I will NEVER go to anyone else for my repairs or services. He did the brakes on my car and was affordable and was almost half the price of Firestone and all those competitors.
Again, I am a 24 year old girl and kept hearing a weird noise with my brakes and went back to Rafi and he drove around with me in the car and drove it himself, said it sounded normal and that what I am probably hearing was just them wearing in and it would go away the more I drive. I don’t hear it at all anymore… but it was so nice of him to actually drive it around to see what I was talking about because I clearly don’t know anything about cars.
He is a good hearted person and you can tell that he works very, very hard. I will forever and always go to see him for as long as I live in LA.
