Root is a dynamic family-​owned and operated Green Design-​Build company with over 15 years experience in the construction industry. We specialize in modern design, new construction, remodeling, project management and consulting. Our projects range from new gound up construction to 12,000 square foot complete remodels to small home additions, kitchen and bath remodels. Root provides complete interior and exterior design services. We believe that building green is a natural step in the continuum of healthy living. We strive to make homes that are sustainable, durable, and conducive to environmentally conscious family lifestyles. We are a turnkey design-​build company. No job is too large or too small. We have our own small crew as well as a vast number of great subcontractors we regularly use. Our construction team as well as Design team are Leed AP & Certified Green Building Professionals. Matt M.

Manager

Matt is the President and Senior Project Manager of Root Construction. He has over 15 years experience in the residential construction industry. Matt is a licensed general contractor, Certified Green Building Professional with Build It Green and a LEED Accredited Professional with the USGBC. His construction education developed while working for and alongside award-​winning contractors and architects in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area as a Superintendent and Project Manager. Matt also has an extensive education and hands-​on experience in waterproofing, leak detection and moisture mitigation.
