22 Changes

Moved from HI last year & been looking for that ONE. Had gone to 2 stylists. They’re nice & seems to know what they’re doing but I don’t know-​it seems that they’re missing that «magic» I’m looking for in a hairstylist. So one day, I saw a lady coming out of the gym & I just love her hairstyle from front & back. I approached her nicely, thank God she’s super nice & ask her where she gets her haircut from & she mentioned «22 Salon with Anna». So I googled it & there’s no 22 Salon in Vancouver popping! I was a bit upset that I didn’t ask for the salon’s number then I remember that she mentioned something about the salon is off of Mill Plain where Chipotle & Starbucks are. So the next day, I went for a drive & there it was– 22 Changes Salon! While in the car, I googled the salon & there it was. So I called & made appointment. And I’m super thankful to Julie from the gym that she gave me her hairstylist info coz let me tell you… I have found my forever hairstylist in Anna Abernethy! She’s super amazing! I found the magic in her… lolWhy don’t you go & see her to find out how amazing she is! im super happy & satisfied with her work! Thanks Anna Abernethy! See you in 2 months!

I love this salon. the staff is knowledgeable experienced and flexible. I never leave without loving what they have done to complete or create my new look.

These ladies know a thing our two about quality customer service! As soon as I walked through the the door, someone greeted me with a cheerful disposition and had everything ready to go. A full service salon, they offer hair, nails, wax, and massage. The environment is clean and welcoming, with specialists who have a lot of experience and skill. I got a cut and wax and both of the women knew what they were doing, while keeping a light and fun conversation throughout the two hours I was there. I can honestly say that I will be coming back again real soon!

I’ve been a client for over 15 years and I LOVE the ambiance of the spa. The staff is courteous and if you need a wonderful haircut, I would highly recommend Regina! Treat yourself to a few minutes of serenity!

Been coming for over 10 years and this little place has gone through a lot of changes. I’ve never had a bad hair cut, hair color or waxing. I’m a little sad to see long term staff change over (Krystal and other favs) Always clean, friendly service and understanding of what the customer needs. My teens now come here as well. My only complaint is staff turnover and expense, but its not enough to make me find anywhere else to go. I love that they keep my record and what I like and dislike.

I came to 22 changes because I was given a gift certificate from a friend who highly recommended the salon. I decided to get a shellac manicure and am highly disappointed.
2 of my fingers had the polish peeling off and had air bubbles. I have never had that happen to me before in the past few years of me having shellac. I went the next day (they were very accommodating to get me in) and they were able to «fix it». The next day one of the nails that had been fixed had an air bubble which caused it to pop and the polish peeled off.
I haven’t gone back because its such a hassle to have to go back a THIRD time to get it done.
a $ 44 shellac manicure should be perfect. never again will I pay that much. I’ve gone to places who charge half that amount and I have never been disappointed.
I feel like I wasted my gift certificate.

I have been coming to 22 Changes since I was fifteen. I get my brows done regularly with Kara and she is amazing. She always asks how I’m doing and about my family. I got my hair done here for my prom and it looked gorgeous. I’ve also had a few hair cuts where I donated to Locks of Love and my short cut was always exactly what I was looking for. All the stylists provide a wonderful and relaxing experience. They make me feel completely at ease and are super friendly. The prices are a little high if all you’re looking for is a simple haircut, but for a salon, it’s not overly spendy.

I was a steady customer here 7 years ago and left after a few terrible experiences regarding services and customer service. I was pretty leery of returning, but things change. Am I right or am I right?
I had the best massage ever! It was a great experience from start to finish. The customer service was wonderful. Check-​in was easy. My massage therapist was timely and so friendly. She listened to my requests and honored all of them. She worked on my trouble spots and I felt wonderful! Nothing was rushed. It was wonderfully relaxing!
I wish I could come here every week! It was that good.

I have been getting my hair cut at 22 Changes for over ten years now, and I have never been disappointed. I first tried them out on the recommendation of a friend when I was looking for a place to donate my hair. After having a really positive experience, I decided to go back again. And again. And again. And… you get the picture. Over the years I’ve donated my hair twice, and I have never had a more fantastic grow out from a dramatic cut than from the stylists at 22 Changes.
These days I see Cynthia, and she is AMAZING. She’s been cutting my husband and my hair for the past two years, and we always look and feel great after we leave. Personally, I like to talk to my stylist while getting my hair cut, and if you also do, you will have a really fun time talking with Cynthia. She really cares about what I want, and she puts me at ease so I don’t feel awkward if I want her to change or add something.
They are a bit expensive for a cut, but it is absolutely worth every penny. Cynthia gives me haircuts that are so manageable I can wash my hair, let it air dry on the way to work, and it still looks fantastic all day.
Give this place a try, and definitely give Cynthia a try.

Went here for my birthday a couple months ago to get a 60 minute massage and facial. Everyone from the receptionist to the massage therapist to the facial lady were super nice and professional. The massage was so great! Really worked out some knots in my upper back and shoulder area. The facial was awesome! My skin looked really good afterward and it’s been looking really nice ever since! Totally recommend if you want a special day of pampering.

Ive been going here for over a year now. I would suggest Cara Marie for any service. She is amazing at giving at facials and also does a great job waxing. She is very sweet and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend 22 changes, specifically Cara.

I was able to get in on a moment notice. The service and massage was great. Very clean atmosphere.

I have been getting my hair done here for at least six years and I am very pleased with their services. I have never really been let down and love my stylist, Elydia! I usually just go in for a simple haircut and am always walking away loving my new ‘do! I never have issues making a last minute appt. which I love! I seem to usually have a busy schedule so knowing that I can count on a last minute appt is very comforting! Great atmosphere, clean, new feeling and great stylists! Would definitely recommend to others and will be sad when I move!

Been going here for about 7 years. ALWAYS have a good cut. Hasn’t mattered who has done my hair, it’s awesome. Good colorists, stylists, and estheticians. Go Cara! Yes, cuts are more than some places and average to others but, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

I had a groupon for massages, and my girlfriend and I had come in together.
We started off with 30 minutes in the sauna. It was just whatever, wasn’t really in the mood to sauna. They took us into the room where we received our massages. The massages were good, and I was going to give a 3 star, but the workers were very nice.
This was the first time I paid for a massage, and now I know what I’ve been missing.

I’ve had great spa pedicures and facials at 22 Changes Salon. Very pleased! Friends have come along & gotten a massage & had a great experience as well. What makes this just «OK» — the haircuts I got there! 1^st time, not happy — so tried another stylist the 2^nd time, still not happy with the result. I’ll not go back for a hair cut but I’ll take advantage of their spa services again!

I’ve gone in about a dozen times now and on average I’ve waited over 15 minutes past the time my appointment is for. Recently they were 25min late in getting to me. It aims at being a day spa, so perhaps my getting ‘just a haircut’ is asking too much of the place, I’m not sure. I’ve also never gotten a haircut much different than what I’d get from Supercuts (which unfortunately is not even close to as convenient as this place).
Nov 2012 update: I gave them another chance and yet again had waited 20min after my appointment time. They’ve never once gotten me to the chair at the time my appointment was for. Why do I keep going back? The hair cut is usually pretty good.
