Well known around town for our famous hand rolled crust, our neighborhood pizza joint specializes in gourmet pizzas. We have 13 House Pizzas to choose from, five of them are Vegetarian. Don’t worry though, we have a ‘Create Your Own’ option for those or you with particular tastes. We serve slices during lunchtime until two pm, as well as toasted sandwiches, and fresh chopped salads all day.

Proud of keeping it local, we also offer beer and wine for patrons over 21 years of age. We have bottled domestics and tall boys of PBR, red and white wines to choose from, and 11 beers on tap (most of which are local); some of which are changed seasonaly.

History

Established in 1996.

The Blind Onion, after a brief stint waiting tables in a French Soup Bistro, settled in Portland, Oregon, where he opened The Blind Onion Pizza & Pub near the corner of NE 33^rd & Broadway. This was to be the first of many such openings.

This incredibly unique spot was once home to the likes of the Cubby Hole-​a 1930’s bar, The Blind Onion-​a restaurant, Weird Old Harold’s-a knick knack shop, and most recently General’s Pizza. No longer a vegetable without respect, The Blind Onion has made a name for himself in the Vancouver/​Portland/​Reno pizza world. Although he never became a music legend, The Blind Onion found his path to happiness. This path lead to a simple but profound combination: a delicious pizza, cold microbrews and a close friend that still sheds a tear, even during the upbeat songs.
