History
Established in 1993.
Vancouver Pizza Company was begun by Richard B. who spent over a year perfecting the recipes and naming most of the pizzas (like Bach and Mozart). In about 1999 he sold the business to someone else. We, Cliff and Karen M., bought it in June of 2000. With no pizza or restaurant experience, we have worked to continue Richard’s dream of being «The Friendly Place with the Great Taste.» We strive to give excellent customer service and to provide a quality product that uses only the finest and freshest ingredients all in a family friendly environment. VPC is your home away from home!
Our fire in 2006 taught us a lot about the community in Vancouver and it actually turned out to be a real blessing to our little store. Individuals and businesses rallied around us and we, in turn, try extremely hard to give back to our community by supporting schools, non-profits, etc.
We are very proud to have won the Best of Clark County 2008 and have had excellent reviews in several newspapers.
Meet the Business Owner
Karen and Cliff M.
Business Owner
My husband, Cliff, and I had no previous restaurant experience when we bought this little business. Since our purchase, we have worked long and hard to maintain the quality and service that Richard B started. I consider this our «little gold mine» and it has become a passion of mine. My strengths are more with working with the employees, quality control and intense marketing strategies. My husband is the PR guy who loves creating relationships with our customers and does the financial end of the business. We love Vancouver and the fantastic community that surrounds us. And, of course, we love Vancouver Pizza!
We are proud to have been featured and positively reviewed by Andy Carson of Fox 12’s Good Day Oregon. Andy did a full morning’s weather live from Vancouver Pizza. Plus, we even got his autograph on one of our menus.
