(I would leave no stars if I could) The blue dress. Today I learned that not all companies value their customers. I had the absolute worst experience at carousel cleaners. My issue with them started last week when I went in to pick up some clothes that I had dropped off(one of which was a brand new blue dress). I went in and handed the woman behind the counter my ticket, she then handed me my clothes and I headed out to my car. This should have been the end of the transaction but when I put the clothes in my car I noticed a big rip on the seam of my brand new dress. I immediately returned and showed the woman the rip in the dress. She acted offended and got really mad at me. She told me that she hadn’t done it. I explained to her that I didn’t care how the dress was ripped, but I knew that it was completely intact when it left my possession. I told her that they needed to fix it and that I would not be paying for it because it clearly had happened in their possession. She told me to return Monday and pick it up. I returned Tuesday to pick up the dress and I had brought some jeans that need a zipper replaced.(I assumed that since they were fixing their mistake that I could trust them). When I showed up for the dress I asked if they did zipper repairs. She responded that they did but that they wouldn’t be taking any more of my clothes because they didn’t trust me. I was shocked at her response, she was extremely rude and argumentative. She told me that either my brand new Calvin Klein dress’s stitches were cheaply stitched or I had ripped it and tried to get it fixed for free. She said that there was absolutely no way she had ripped it. She also told me that it was probably ripped when I brought it in, then I explained that I went through every inch of that dress with her co-worker to ensure that this wouldn’t occur. She didn’t believe me and refused my service, effectively banning me from the store. I’m fine with bening banned because quite frankly they do a mediocre job and take no personal accountability. Instead, they blame their customers and refuse them from the store. This is not how to run a business! I just don’t want anyone else to have this experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They clearly only care about profit and have no regard for their consumers. The are a lot more cleaners in Vancouver WA and I would recommend every single one over Carousel Cleaners. Terrible place!

Very disappointed in the service I received this week! I took a bed skirt that needed a cleaning/repair by machine, paid extra for it and picked up on assigned day. Since it was already packaged I asked if the stitching had been done. The lady nods her head yes. I got it home and discover it had not been repaired. Having tossed the receipts I had no recourse and will not use their service again.

Carousel Cleaners was a part of my merry-go-round search for a local dry cleaner and laundry service in the Salmon Creek area. After a couple visits for laundered shirts and dry cleaning, Carousel turned out to be fairly average. My main reason for checking out Carousel Cleaners was the convenience of being in the same shopping center as Safeway & Walgreens. One clear negative was the limited hours, but it’s probably a wise business decision since the 3 times my wife and I went it wasn’t ever busy. Cleanliness of clothes: 4 stars Speed: 3 stars Price/value: 3 stars Friendliness: 3 stars Funky smell inside: 2 stars Hours of availability: 2 stars We’ve selected a different cleaners as my regular spot, but I’d come back to Carousel Cleaners if there weren’t other options.

Never had a problem with them in the ten years I’ve been using then for laundering and pressing my husband’s shirts. They see me coming and already have my order hanging and ready! I must say the old woman who works there is no not very nice. No customer service and makes even a regular feel guilty for coming in.

Horrible service ! I took my nursing school patches to be sewn on my school uniform and explained where they were to be placed. Well the lady misunderstood the placement on my scrub top and placed it too low. I didn’t notice this until I came home. I immediately returned to cleaners and explained the situation to her. She argued with me and only offered to fix their mistake IF I paid an additional $ 7. I explained that I already paid $ 14 to sew 2 patches on my uniform and wouldn’t pay additional money for their mistake. They didn’t fix their mistake and I’ll never come back.
