Pressed 4 Time

I had about $ 200 worth of repairs and items needed to be dry cleaned. I emailed the email address given FIVE TIMES over a week, mentioned that email worked better than phone to set it up. and the company refused to respond. I emailed with someone at the HQ who tried to get me in touch with the local staff but they still never replied. In the digital age where every business is able to email and work with various customers, they are literally against making money. I looked forward to utilizing their service but clearly they were not interested.

Pressed 4 Time has excellent dry cleaning and shoe repair pick up and delivery services. Their prices are lower than another dry cleaning pick up and delivery service that I used in the past. The owners are friendly and consistent. I recommend them to family and friends!

Sooo, not sure why Pressed4Time comes all the way town to Lake Oswego to pick up dry cleaning… but they do.
And they also repair shoes, which is what I had done. Can’t comment on their other services except to say that they are far too expensive considering other local options.
So, two pairs of shoes to be repaired:
A matte black pair of Kenneth Cole slip ons that needs new soles, new heels, heel repair work, and a good cleaning and buffing.
A pair of sandals where the sole had broken, and the interior leather had torn.
Second pair was considered unfixable. Disappointing, but understandable. I think the shoes were only like, $ 30 bucks new anyway.
To repair the KCs, it was $ 60! That seems like a lot right/​? But to buy a new pair was going to be $ 150, (not to mention you can’t even FIND all leather solves in Portland. grrr…) so I bit the bullet, and ponied up the dough.
Shoes came back pretty good. I was not expecting miracles, and I didn’t get any, but the soles were replaced, they look nice — good leather. The heel was replaced, and also looks new. And the reconditioning continues to look great after a week.
All in all, I feel it was a compromise, but one I would be willing to make on a case by case basis. Just don’t expect the moon from these guys.
