Meadows At Cascade Park

We have been here for just over a year and have had a very pleasant experience r overall. They are dog friendly (even with big dogs), run contests for money off rent, have community yard sales… The apartments are currently being repainted on the outside which is looking great. The layout is very roomy & quiet. We have 3 dogs above us but would take that any day over screaming children. Complaints: dogs off leash, people parking in carports that they have not paid for, pet owners that do not pick up after pets. Overall we have been pleased with our experience here.

I fought the additional charges in small claims and won my deposit back plus the court costs. They cannot charge you for something that you did not see. They told me there was not a check list and ooops all of a sudden a check list appears in the mail with all kinds of extra charges. The judge took all of 5 seconds to rule in my favor. If you have an issue moving out then it only costs $ 29 to file a small claim. I think they figure people are just going to not bother and just pay. That’s BS.
They also tried to hit me for additional rent, cleaning and utilities.

I moved out in September 2014 and I am still dealing with the harassment of their new property management company claiming I owe over $ 500 in fees. I used the cleaners that the apt used– Isabel — referred to me and suggested by the leasing managers themselves. Scott the carpet guy they use as well. Chris the newly promoted (at that time) maintenance supervisor did my walk through said everything was great. It’s been a back and forth email & phone call battle– first it was Riverstone then since they changed management and people got fired — who is accountable for what was ACTUALLY going on when I moved out??? So my pocketbook depends on people who weren’t there when I moved out and who knows what the former people did and what/​why they were fired.
I’m still in contact with couple of employees as they are personal friends and still in touch with the former leasing manager as well. This is a terrible complex to live in.
Also– omg fees for everything while you live there. They have trash service but read every part of the rule to use the service — the trash guys are instructed to take pictures to document everything– $ 50 fees for everything — including ANYTHING other than patio furniture on your porch– not even a case of soda!!! Yep –anything they think is garbage on your patio is a $ 50 fee too. Ridiculous! Don’t think you can live here and move out and everything will be easy peasy– Nope be prepared to pay more money to them MONTHS after and they will CLAIM to have mailed you a letter stating the charges. They are liars!

You get what you pay for and this place is serious not worth more than $ 700 a month. Maintenence is nice but work at turtle speed and management is a joke. No professionalism.

Most horrible apartment I’ve ever lived in. Horrible management, not properly maintained, horrible, disgusting tenants that like to steal things… seriously the worst.
