History

Established in 1999.

Theresa painted her first commissioned oil portrait in 1999 as a favor for a family member. Although not formally trained as a portrait painter, the life-​like portrayal that emerged soon earned her a series of new painting commissions. Theresa has become known for her realistic portrait paintings and drawings of people and pets which make great gifts for all sorts of occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, mother’s day, father’s day, memorial commemorations and dedications.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Born and raised in rural Montana. Graduated from Montana State University with a BA in graphic design. Moved to Portland, Oregon with her husband in 1994. She worked as a publication designer and then a part-​time freelance graphic designer while raising two children. In 1999 she accepted her first oil portrait commission. Creating realistic likenesses of people and pets came so naturally that it quickly became a business. Theresa’s art studio is now located in Vancouver, Washington.
