Visiting a dispensary was pretty new to me before going to Ironworks. After walking though the door, and standing in the reception area this place felt rather uncomfortable and sketchy as hell. It’s not as open as other dispensaries are, since they check your credentials before letting you in. It turns out that this is actually a good thing, since it allows you a more personal shopping experience. The moral here is to not judge the place by the exterior. Their medicine is great. The edibles are tasty and get the job done. The staff is super friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommended.

This is the place I go when I am at the boat/in Venice. They are friendly, have a good selection of smokables, edibles, topicals, etc and I always get right in and out. They also just opened up a little lounge which I have yet to try. Sometimes they will throw in a goodie or discount, but not always and their prices aren’t on the low side, but always good quality. I usually end up spending about $ 65-$ 75 on an eighth of Sativa. It does suck though that they close at 6 on Sundays… and once I showed up at 7:59pm on a weekday(they close at 8) and we knocked on the door and the guy working said, «sorry, we’ve been here all day» and wouldn’t let us in. I said, «I thought you closed at 8» and he said, «we do». Then the next day when I went back in the am, he said, «sorry about last night, it was 7:59 and we were already locked up…» I dunno, i mean, my friend and i are there at least once a week each and i was just a little disappointed in not getting a little special treatment. not disappointed enough to not go back, but still just a little hurt since i was totally nauseous and thought there would be some compassion there. Oh well, at least they were open on Independence Day.
