He has an eye for light and space that totally transformed the pictures he took of me from what would be your normal ho-​hum, run of the mill ordinary head-​shots, into artistic, brilliant photographs that truly captured my personality. He takes time to get to know your personality, so that it comes across on camera. He is patient, which was important to me, as we shot numerous photos, which required several changes of outfit. He gave great direction, and he has a talent for seeing the beauty of everyday angles, placing you in-​front or beside it, and create magic. He played with the light and shadow of each venue we used to create beautiful visual art.

An honored photographer, Joshua Monesson studied at the University of Denver. His real work began shortly thereafter with a self-​assignment documenting homeless families in the Philippines. He is practiced at the art of imagery and his inspiring work has been featured in art galleries from New York to Los Angeles.
