Our roofers are experts in waterproofing and utilize the latest products to give you both quality and the right «look» to fit your home. They also install, fix and repair rain gutters.

Custom woodworkers give your house a handcrafted, personalized appearance. Our decks, fences and gazebos are built for functionality and design aesthetic. We also install all the latest and traditional windows and doors to fit any home design.

We even do custom home audio systems with 5.1 surround sound and independent volume controls and speakers in every room.

Established in 1968.

Formed in NY in 1968. My father started the business. I began working for him in 1988 and moved the company to Southern California in 2002. Still a family business, me and my brother are always making sure things get done right.

We bought an old house in need of total refurbishment. Simmons construction were competitive in price and managed the project with skill and good humor. From major structural alterations, plumbing, electrical, new roof, decks, new kitchen and bathrooms Bill and his brother Mike and their team of sub contractors worked fast and efficiently. They dealt with city inspectors, changes of instructions, complicated details — all with great professionalism and speed. In particular we appreciated Bill and Mike’s attitude that everything was possible, and nothing was too much trouble!
We would use Simmons Construction again and recommend them highly.

Bill Simmons and team did a great job replacing the entire roof on my house and garage. Bill gave me a fair, honest estimate and I chose them against other quotes I had. Bill was very easy to deal with and had great communication. Unlike almost every other contractor I’ve dealt with, there was no flakiness or unkept promises.
I bought an old house that needed a complete roof replacement. It was so bad that I couldn’t get homeowners insurance. They tore off my entire roof, including underlayment, and replaced with an entire new roof with architectural shingles in my choice of color. They brought out a big dumpster and hauled away all debris.
In the end they finished ahead of schedule and the roof looks great! I went up there with Bill’s brother (who did the majority of the work) and he showed me the neighbor’s roofs, where after the first few rows of shingles, they rows began to become wavy and uneven. But on my roof, he showed me how he laid out a chalkline every few rows and the rows were perfectly even all the way to the top! Very cool and now I have the nicest roof on the block!
They are coming back to quote for more work, so I would definitely use them again.

My roof deck had a leak which had damaged the ceiling below. Bill and his brother were prompt, courteous, professional, and did a high quality job on time to resurface the deck and replace damaged drywall in the interior ceiling. They treated the property like it was their own. Would hire again.

If you are looking for a hard working team that knows what they are doing, plus HONEST look no further. I called Bill Simmons (the owner) and told him there was a water fall in my garage because of the roof being rotten in one area. Bill and his brother Mike squeezed me in to their already busy schedule and gave me the most honest info possible. It turned out that the roof wasn’t bad everywhere, just there because of a slump in the roof. They saved me a couple thousand by being honest and just cutting out that portion and repairing it with new wood and torch down roofing material (I guess that’s what you use when the roof is flat). I have a dining room that now needs remodeling because of a lazy contractor taking money but left doing the middle of the job, guess who I’m gonna call? Simmons Construction of course.

Bill and his crew did an amazing job on our front deck at an incredibly reasonable price. He was always responsive and professional, and guided us through every step of the way, from initial design ideas to suggestions for upkeep once it was finished. His crew kept the site neat and were very professional as well. Particularly given that I was home with a super-brand-new baby during the construction project, I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that!
Can’t wait til we have can get them back to work on our next project!

Normally I FEAR working with contractors. I expect butt cracks, lazy work, hidden errors, moochers, and outrageous prices. THANK GOD for Simmons Construction. The company is owned by two brothers, Bill and Mike, who are originally from New York and mean business. They run a tight crew of remarkably talented people. I was floored at how quickly they remodeled our bathroom (with a stereo system, new tile and a steam unit that I didn’t really think would change what I expect from a shower) and the quality of their work. Problems were non-existent, since whenever I started to feel one brewing I said something about it and Bill was on it. I can’t rave about these guys enough. Trust them with a project of any size, trust them to get it done quickly, and trust them not to charge you an arm and a leg to do it. Who knew contractors could be a pleasure?
