I probably shouldn’t be disappointed anymore when a place that gets a bunch of great reviews on Unilocal ends up sucking, since Unilocalers don’t seem to be a very discriminating lot, but damn this place sucked. First of all, speed of service is not a good thing. If anything, if your thai gets to you in 15 minutes, it came out of a can. Save your money and just buy some at trader joes. Second, just because its spicy doesn’t mean its good. My 4 year old brother can put a bunch of peppers in a mop bucket and make it spicy. You wanna eat that? I lived in Thailand for 3 years. I saw one review from someone who said«oh, its just like Thailand» This is the guy who stayed at the holiday inn in Phuket and had the lunch special. Not authentic. Bleh.

My kinda hole in the wall. Close to Lincoln & Venice. The price is right for some really tasty Thai«comfort» food. Almost up there with some of the more popular Thai town joints. They have all of the necessary table condiments which is huge for me, for Thai. Eggrolls are rolled small and tight, but great flavor, as well as the fried rice. Give em a go.

Not much to the décor here, but the food is delicious! I’m lucky enough to live semi-close by so this is my go-to for Thai food.

Spicy duck salad was okay. Vegetable rolled were stuffed with glass noodles. Glass noodles were meh. Lots of duck meat gets a star.

Love this place! Eaten here 3 nights in the past 4 days. The seafood soup is so damn tasty and FULL of scallops, prawns, squid, fish, no scrimping there. Totally unpretentious and just great food at super good prices

Hole in the wall kinda place. Staff is nice and friendly. The food is great, and you get a lot of it for very little :) Try the Chef’s specials, so much food! Definitely getting bang for your buck! Delivery is fast too! Usually arrives way before estimated delivery, yay! :)

the food is so damn good. the service is so damn bad. I have been treated rudely literally every time I have come here but I keep coming back because the pad Thai is that damn good. its like that nasty freaky ex that u actually hate but u still find urself stuck with them late as shit on a Tuesday questioning where your life has headed. anyways yea.

Soo tasty! The bbq ribs were awesome and the green curry was a show stopper! Mmmmmm I def recommend this place. It’s the best Thai spot I’ve tried since I’ve been in LA. Good prices too.

Now, I’ve never been inside, I always order delivery, but every time, its just awesome. I’m so glad that I found this place first when I moved here, I won’t go anywhere else. Also, I’m a night owl and I eat late, they’re open and delivering late everyday. Typical order: Pad Thai Thai Tea Tom Ka Gai Yellow Curry with Chicken Never been disappointed.

I know that I ordered kinda late, but I don’t deserve rotten papaya with tons of spice to try to cover it for it. To top it of half the dressing(that was already in the salad) had leaked out and made a mess on my table. Maybe I’ll take away some tom kha again in the future which isbconsistently good but nothing else.

This is my favorite Thai place on the Westside! And I’m obsessive about this, trying every new new place that pops up, as well as making sure I’ve tried the older ones. I keep going back to Wirin! Whether it’s delivery, or eating in their cozy diner, it’s a great experience. Noodles are amazing, curries are all mouthwatering. The steamed dumplings are the best I’ve had on this side of town, and the chef’s specials are all worth going for. Delivery is always fast, and they’ve never messed up an order! It’s sad that’s not normal, but it’s another reason I keep calling these guys when I want Thai!

Don’t be fooled by the weird looking building with no curb appeal, it’s much nicer inside. Sometime’s its better than others, but this is a great thai spot most of the time. Good Rice Dishes, good Noodle dishes, and great soups. Prices are pretty low for a sit down Thai place as well. Everyone once a in a while the food is a little bland, I chock it up to different cooks, which is why it’s not a 4 star.

Let me tell you! I have not enjoyed Thai food out here the way that I just did! The food evaporated! It exists no more! The lunch special pad Thai with shrimp chicken and beef is amazing. My stomach is so happy. I’m not sure how I will continue working! I also loved the little spring rolls and two sauces included! I also got the fried rice and that was delicious too! I made a great decision and the portions are large! I will be ordering from here again!

Ordered from here 3 times. The first time I got pad Thai and it was good. The second time I got the spicy seafood noodle and it was awful and bland. And so today I got the pad thai again and found a huge egg shell in it.

I’ve had food from here about five times now and it just keeps getting better. first time I had tom ka soup, spicy mint noodles and papaya salad. all dishes were on par but the beef in the soup was chewy, didn’t matter to me too much because the broth was good. their chicken is amazing though. make sure to get that as the protein in your dish. I’ve also had another noodle dish that had seafood in it and that was bomb as well. tasted similar to the other noodle dish but it was flavorful and that’s what matters. their pineapple fried rice is amazing as well. with chicken, of course. and the prices are sweet. just what you’d expect from a Thai place, $ 6-$ 9 entrees and heaping portions.

I haven’t been to many Thai places in the LA area but it wasn’t too bad. The curries are not too spicy, the vegetables are fresh and fried rice was great. For catering Wirin was our best option nearby. I’ll have to try more places but will give this place an «ok»!

While I have not been inside the restaurant, my colleagues and I order from Wirin often because it is close to our work and also offers delivery. SERVICE: I cannot speak to the service, because we typically order online and our co-workers usually bring the food up to us. I’ve only meet the delivery people a couple of times myself; today, the guy was quite drab and it could have been because it takes a long time to walk the hallways of my building to get to the front door. THEFOOD: I enjoy their salmon teriyaki, teriyaki chicken, chow mein, and orange chicken. And yes, I realize none of those are necessarily Thai foods… but I’m not a huge Thai food person in actuality(just love my Asian food generally). I do enjoy their pad see ew, which is Thai food lol. My co-workers seem to be huge fans of the yellow curry. Since we’re at work, we always get lunch specials which include a salad(very general and usually fresh) and 2 egg rolls. The rolls are quite delicious and not too greasy! And I’m very particular about egg rolls. Bottom Line — I’m finishing up lunch, with my stomach clapping and shouting«Yay!» Til we eat again Wirin Thai! :)

I’m so bummed about the poor reviews. I’ve been coming here for lunch for a couple years. It’s a great place to get in and out quickly –without dealing with a big lunch rush. Yes it’s pretty hole in the wall looking and sure the food may seem questionable — but it’s pretty good in my books. Soup, salad and Panang curry with chicken — it really makes Friday afternoon food comas worth it! The service can be hit or miss — I’ve had my share of the off days, but the food is what keeps me coming back… and it’s pretty cheap. You get what you pay for here.
